Cottage in Biddulph
4.93 out of 5 average rating, 419 reviews2 Bedroom Rural Cottage
We had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend walking down the hill 3 or so minutes to a beautiful trail (there is a cafe at the bottom open on weekends). The Talbot pub is also a close drive away and decent food. The hot tub was amazing and the layout of the house was ideal for our family of four. FYI: the outside stairs are no joke! If you arrive after dark, there are helpful lights outside to guide you but if you have little ones do take care. We were okay but I was very nervous walking down the stairs with our baby and toddler.

Just home from a lovely 2 night stay with my partner and spaniel. An absolutely lovely air bnb with so much character. We felt right at home straight away, and very safe. The living room is especially cosy with the fire which was all ready to go with a basket full of logs. The bedrooms are cozy and warm, and the chocolates next to the side of the bed are a lovely little treat. Kitchen and bathroom both spotless, everything we needed for our stay with milk, teabags and biscuits provided. Garden is great, enclosed so safe for the dog to run around and the hot tub is just perfect, clean and private. The gardens lights on an evening are so pretty. Overall we loved our 2 night stay and would recommend to anyone looking to get away. The local area is great for walking. Thank you! Great hosts.
Cottage in Buxton
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 179 reviewsThirkelow Cottage - near Buxton, Peak District
We had a fantastic stay here the weekend before Christmas with some friends. Esther was a great help from start to finish. The property was absolutely spotless on arrival and decorated for the festive season. The surroundings were just beautiful, we even got some snow while we were here which made everything just that more magical for the children. There was plenty of room, great Wi-Fi, amazing games room to keep the little and big kids entertained. We didn't have to worry about being too noisy as there was very little around us. Couldn't recommend this place enough would love to go back again in the summer time and explore the town a little more.
Cottage in Stoke-on-Trent

Wow! Arlene’s place is just beautiful. She’s a great host and made check in and the stay really easy. The house and garden are amazing, she has thought of everything to make staying at her home perfect. The hot tub is fabulous and we really did enjoy our two nights there and spent lots of time in the tub - it even snowed a little while we were sooo warm and relaxed in the tub! We were looking for rest and relaxation ahead of a busy year and we got that. The house is super comfortable, beautifully decorated and I’d love Arlene to pop round and design my house and garden!! I’d definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Wow! What a gorgeous place to stay. Think the cottage from The Holiday ☺️ we loved the setting, the cottage, the decor, the amenities! Romy & Tim are perfect hosts, including being extremely flexible when the snow meant we needed to rearrange. If you can fall in love with a cottage, I just did. 100% recommend.

Cottage in nr Ashbourne

We cannot recommend this place enough. The cottage was clean, cosy and peaceful. The log fire was fabulous to put on in tje evening. The hot tub was an added bonus and so relaxing after walking during the day. The pub, The Sycamore, was a two minute walk and the food was not only delicious but plenty of it. The location of the cottage was perfect to visit Buxton, Bakewell and Dovedale. Caroline was the perfect host and was always available to contact and ask questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Our second trip to this beautiful cottage. Helen is friendly and communicative. The cottage is the house you aspire to have but could never achieve in your own home. It’s the perfect holiday cottage. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated throughout. We enjoyed our relaxing weekend. It is well positioned in Bakewell within walkable distance to the centre of town. We definitely recommend.
Cottage in Hartington

A lovely, comfy cottage, plentiful cutlery, crockery etc. and a very generous amount wood/coal for the fire. There was a really nice selection of welcome goodies for us. Very well placed for great walks and easy access to pubs and local shop.

A great place to stay, lovely views over the farm and great neighbours (cows and sheep). The place is much larger than we thought we were getting which was a nice surprise! Remember to bring milk and essentials as the closest shop is about 4 miles away.
Cottage in Tideswell

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!
Cottage in Birchover

Catherine’s cottage is ideally situated for some top walks in some of the Peak’s great locations. Somewhere we’d happily want to return to to enjoy a summer experience! Friendly and helpful and welcoming communications all the way through. We had a really lovely time and were totally comfy and cozy in the cottage in the middle of some fairly wintery weather. All needs nicely catered for and thank you for the amazing spread of extras too! A great way to have welcomed in the New Year :)
Cottage in Longnor
4.96 out of 5 average rating, 152 reviewsJack's Cottage, Longnor, Peak District
Jack's Cottage was fantastic. A warm and cosy retreat in the beautiful Peaks. Longnor has some great local amenities, a very friendly vibe, and is a great base to explore the Peaks and valleys. We spent our mornings out with the dog, our afternoons in front of the fire, and evenings in the local pub or popping out for takeaways in Buxton. Would definitely visit again and for a moment was tempted by the cottage for sale next door! Highly recommended.
Cottage in Foolow
4.89 out of 5 average rating, 176 reviewsBrosterfield Cottage
The cottage was very thoughtfully equipped, beautifully decorated and clean. It suited our needs for a walking weekend. It was warm and welcoming. It is possible to hear & see the A623 from the outside but it is a distant, intermittent murmur rather than a hum or a roar. It is an easy walk into Eyam and into the countryside to the north. It was a shame we never got to meet Penny and a quick visit from her to check everything was ok would have been appreciated, to add a human touch to the experience. If I was being very picky I would suggest slightly fluffier towels given the price - but that is a small consideration. Overall I would recommend the cottage.

Cottage in Tideswell
5 out of 5 average rating, 167 reviewsValentine Cottage, Tideswell luxury, lovely garden
A beautiful cottage with everything you need. We didn't use the local pubs as we really enjoyed our peaceful stay. The local co-op is a 5 mins walk. The whole cottage is spotlessly clean, the kitchen has everything you need. The living room is cosy with a lovely fire and views over the Vale. We loved sitting in the dinning room and the girls used this bright space for uni and school work. The girls loved their bedrooms, I did find my bed too hard for a good night sleep for me, but we are all different. I would still loved to stay again.
Cottage in Bakewell
5 out of 5 average rating, 203 reviewsRocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat
We had a magical stay. Rachael is a fantastic host who kindly provided us with all the information necessary for the trip, including all the nearby points of interest, walks and restaurants and much more. She is most welcoming and we felt right at home. The cottage was stunning in every detail and comfortable and a Christmas tree gave so much atmosphere. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and views and is a great getaway from the city life as well. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely love to come back.
Cottage in Wildboarclough
4.94 out of 5 average rating, 162 reviewsBlack Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough
We had an unforgettable week at the Black Cat Cottage. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and made a couple of great walks starting right from the doorstep. We had lots of snow, some really nice sunny days and the grand final: storm Bert. Under all circumstances, the cottage was a warm and welcoming place to come home to. The cottage is close to the farm, but is still very private. Chris was very friendly, helpful and relaxed, also under all circumstances. Hera and Hector were very, very sweet, and we loved Hera’s antics in the snow. In short: we highly recommend this lovely place if you want to get away from it all! Some friendly (November) tips: Bring enough food, just in case of snow and road closures Dry and clean firewood is available at a nearby gas station in the direction of Buxton. And yes, you really do need a 4x4 to get to or from the cottage in snowy and icy conditions 😉
Cottage in Youlgreave
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 120 reviewsWest Croft, the Relaxing, Quiet, Homely Cottage.
Our party of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped and the lounge very cosy, with enough comfy seating for us all. Youlgreave is a beautiful village with many options for walks directly from the house. Communication with Simon and Jen was excellent and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a great base from which to explore this beautiful area.
Cottage in Cheadle

Amazing cozy place, only stopped overnight but could happily have spent longer, everything was spotless, Nice homely touches and plenty of space to relax with comfy sofa and chair, kitchen very well equipped, spacious bathroom excellent shower in large cubicle. Very comfortable bed in large bedroom. Garden area looked lovely though weather wasn’t great so didn’t go out. The cottage was tucked away off the high street but was very private and a bit of a wow factor when we opened the gate!

Lovely relaxing stay in stunning surroundings. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. The extra Christmas decorations & the welcome goodies were a treat too! Great communications from the host leading up to our visit. Would definitely return!
Cottage in Cheshire
4.85 out of 5 average rating, 220 reviewsRustic Cottage with private garden
I chose this cottage, not only because of its facilities but because it was very easy to get to Knutsford. I was spending Christmas with family there. The cottage had everything I needed and was very clean and comfortable. Martin kindly offered me early access on my day of arrival so that I could be sure of making my first journeys in daylight. He sent very clear instructions on how to find the cottage. I would be very happy to stay here again.
Cottage in Winster
4.91 out of 5 average rating, 164 reviewsDelightful old stone cottage
Headlands Fold is a lovely cosy old cottage in a beautiful village. Rod the owner was helpful and welcoming. The cottage has everything you would need, it is very comfortable with some low doorways to watch out for, if you are tall. The beds were comfy. There was a welcome bottle of wine, milk and biscuits. It is a quiet spot with walks straight from the door. There are two great pubs with open fires serving food in the village and a community owned shop. There were three of us and it was a good size for us. Any more and it would be tricky to deal with wet coats and boots. My husband and I would definitely stay again.
