The house is perfect, very good location, good views and everything is great. The host was super attentive at all times and very friendly, the stay was perfect, the jacuzzi is perfect and very easy to use, perfect for a romantic getaway or with more people… I will definitely be back!!!

Could not have picked a better place to relax and embrace a more authentic area of Portugal. Maria and Goncalo made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the grounds, the puppy, the wine, the visit with the gracious hosts, and the morning bread truck delivery. The facilities are incredible and would be perfect for a couple or a small family looking to enjoy a peaceful retreat. Felt really lucky to have found such a gem. Thank you Maria and Gonzalo! It is one thing to see the accommodation through the photos of the site, but the reality is that it is much better in person and surpasses any expectation. A space that makes us feel at home but also in another world equipped with utensils and kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, microwave , wonderful view, cozy space and beautifully decorated. The site is close to the center, so there is a lot to do in the city, lots of restaurants and places to visit. Super recommend Casa da Benfeitoria because from the moment something exceeds all our expectations deserves all its merit. A thank you to Sílvio for its kindness and willingness to welcome us and for managing such a beautiful and magical place. We really want to come back and we advise everyone to spend a weekend at Casa da Benfeitoria, you will not regret it!!

We loved the apartment with unbeatable views and we had everything you need to spend a pleasant stay. There were also kittens in the area that accompanied us every time we went out. If there is something to improve are the dining chairs, they are not very comfortable, otherwise we will definitely repeat.

Excellent stay for several in family with children. The area is beautiful and well maintained, the swimming pools are pleasant to cool down during heat waves. The hospitality is perfect; the price in season can be scary initially but the house, the estate and the kindness of the employees justify it. We'll be happy to go back! Thank you Ines (and Angela)

There are not enough words to describe both the place and the friendliness of the hosts. We wanted a retreat to celebrate Halloween and got a beautiful, quiet place surrounded by nature with homemade products that delighted our breakfast. We were suggested places to visit and restaurants to visit. I only regret that the days of the stay are over. Touteva has gone back without a second thought. I HIGHLY recommend it. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with the best products and room with old ladies, radio and books at your disposal. Place for parking and very friendly neighborhood. Local with pool and a common area with barbecue. Great to go with friends or just a couple. Go for me, you won't regret it. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING 💙

This is a fabulous house in beautiful, rustic surroundings. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature, great walks, the river and the scenery all made for an excellent experience. It was a great place to cook and relax by the fire. The local baker brought free bread and pastries to the door every day. The wineries and train ride to the upper Douro were excellent. We’d definitely come back.

The view and quiet are brutal... that was exactly what we wanted! For rest, to see the views and to have privacy was one of the best places we have been. Around which 10/15m we are close to good restaurants, supermarkets, etc.

The stay was excellent: The house, the pristine pool, the surroundings, the vineyards, and the kindness and excellence of the hosts. The vacation days we've spent here have been ideal. The best on the route. We were next to Amarante that surprised us pleasantly and other cities to visit, 1h by car. Thank you Osvaldo and Magdalena and family for being such good hosts!

Very friendly people, always pending, attentive, I recommend 100% a beautiful large house, cozy, with many things to see area spactacular, and the rooms and bathrooms very nice, the kitchen clean and organized, appliances that want TVs everywhere the best I have seen

Casa da Rita Three kilometers from the beautiful town of Guimaraes ( where one can walk, visit interesting castles and museums), is a small island of paradisiacal tranquility: a modern and beautiful house, set (next to that of our host), on a large garden with perfectly mowed lawn, swimming pool, barbecue and hammock! Inside the house, furnished with great taste, there is everything you can imagine or even dream: for example, a kitchen equipped with all kinds of dishes, cutlery and other varied utensils, there is everything and more than anything... better than in my kitchen!! Everything is friendly, modern, comfortable, pleasant: A/C in the bedroom, walk-in shower, ultra-comfortable sofa, unlimited towels (much more than in my bathroom!) In a word, everything is perfect! A little more, the owner is very welcoming ... and speaks very good French.

Our stay was great! André was always attentive when something was asked to him. We take advantage of the garden and the benches that stay in it to chat and have a few drinks. All clean and organized! I hope to return in the summer to enjoy the pool.

A very pleasant stay. The pictures and description do a very accurate job of portraying the house - it's spotless clean, has a spectacular view, and everything works very well. One major highlight: this was the best stocked AirBnB I've ever stayed at: a fridge full of staples upon arrival, fresh fruit, wine (for purchase), and a daily delivery of fresh bread and pastries; truly incredible.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Miguel was fantastic with communication from start to finish, always prompt and helpful with any questions we had. The accommodation itself was beyond our expectations – it truly felt like a home away from home, with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were perfect for a family getaway. Our children had endless fun with access to the spacious garden, beautiful pool, the serene lake, and even paddleboards – we couldn’t have asked for more to keep them entertained! The location was ideal as well. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area that made it easy to relax and unwind. We left feeling recharged and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect escape!

My wife and I loved staying here! When we first arrived to the house and started driving up the drive way, we seriously thought we were in the wrong place because of how grand the first impression was. This house is more of an estate. It is a 500+ year old stone home on a massive piece of property with breathtaking views from all parts of the house. The house was incredibly comfortable. We loved drinking our coffee in the mornings looking over the river and mountains. The fireplace was also wonderful. I cannot recommend staying here enough… we are hoping to make it back for a summer trip so we can enjoy the pool and beautiful outdoor area in the back.
