House vacation rentals in Chautauqua

We rented both orange and clementine houses and was a great space for our large family in town for a wedding in Orchard Park. The host was quick to respond and flexible with check-in and out times and kept the pool open for us for our later September visit and we got to really enjoy it!

Perfect for what we were looking for. Very convenient ski in/out right off the slopes. Very responsive host and very clean.

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

Our long awaited family reunion of 8 adults and 1 dog LOVED staying in the Plum Bush house. The house is BEAUTIFUL and spacious, the beds comfy, the water hot and the sunporch was the coziest place to gather for conversation and enjoy the welcome snacks and beverages. The pool water was a balmy 88 degrees and the grounds were a great place to hike, have a camp fire or play a game of corn hole. Mary and Bert were nearby to answer any questions and made us feel at home. We would love to stay there again!

Beautiful home! Spacious and comfortable! Backyard was completely fenced in, and the neighborhood was quiet! The kitchen had almost every type of appliance and utensil that you would want for a “staycation!” The hot tub was also delightful and well maintained! And plenty of towels! We look forward to coming in the summer

We took our kids up skiing for their second time. The place was convenient, clean and spacious. Check in and check out instructions are very detail and helpful. We loved it! We definitely want to go again. If this place is available BOOK IT

Michelle was very kind! Her empathy came to the forefront when she allowed us to keep one of our cars parked in the driveway for a few days after check out due to an emergency. If you'd like a quiet getaway with family, this is perfect! We also took a 45-minute car ride to Allegheny National Forest and spent several hours hiking. You can walk to the lake, and the public beach access is only a 15-minute drive (it has a very scenic view). Highly recommend!

Beautiful cozy home. My kids had a blast with the toys. Beautiful kitchen and great indoor lighting. Cute playground out back that my kids loved. Joelle was kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!

Very cute place that was perfect for our short Peek n' Peak getaway. Love that it's dog friendly! The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and diningware and the house is close to grocery stores and gas stations. We felt very at home, comfortable, and safe!

Cute quaint little cottage… beautiful location

I spent a few days at Sharon's place with my husband and kids. We had a fabulous time! The coloring books and board games made my littlest feel right at home, the kids *loved* the sleep machines in the bedrooms. the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was stocked nicely so I saved so much on takeout! oh and there were lots of towels and even extra blankets! i would definitely stay here again. Kathleen’s home was perfect! We felt comfortable from the beginning. It was well stocked with extras. A great place to visit with an elderly person, or someone with limited physical abilities. There was only two steps, and a walk in shower! I can’t wait to return when the weather is nicer so we can see the beach.

We've stayed here many times. The convenient location is close to everything. Steph is a wonderful host.

This was our second time staying at Claire's House in Bemus Point, NY. There are eight in our party with a dog. All the instructions and communications were clear and helpful. The layout of the house is great for our group. We can spread out in different rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms and baths are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We are hoping to schedule soon for Thanksgiving 2025, Two families are from the Berkshires in Western MA and one from Indianapolis. Claire' s home is conveniently in the middle. Bemus Point is very walkable. Bustling in the summer and quiet in winter. There are several places to eat even in winter. No driving necessary.

This was, far and away, the best house I have ever stayed in through Air B&B. Every possible thing you thought you needed to bring was already in the house. A fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, sheets and towels, and even extra bathroom needs. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance to both the grocery and a few shops and eateries. You can actually SEE Chautauqua Lake from the house! Wi-Fi and TV options were plentiful, and there are comfy chairs in the living room if you wanted to stay in and catch a movie or a game. In short, I hope other hosts are reading this, because THIS HOUSE is the reason Air B&B exists. I’d stay here every time if I could.

We loved Louise's house! It is a beautiful house & had everything we needed & more! Although we did not have little ones, there are many accommodations for those that do! Our older kiddos found plenty to do to keep themselves busy. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes & cooking/baking necessities. There are plenty of extra blankets, pillows, & towels, also. It was clean & there is a washer/dryer in the house so we didn't have to bring dirty laundry home with us! 😊 Louise was very responsive - notifying us that we could check in early if we wanted, sending the door code right away, checking in to make sure we got in ok, & answering all questions promptly. We will definitely recommend this rental to others, & would love to rebook in the future if it's available!

The house was very spacious and had 3 really nice bathrooms. Common areas had a lot of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Perfect place for quality family time and enjoying the beauty of the lake!

Chandra’s place was very clean and comfortable. We inquired about a fire pit and she was kind enough to get it ready, so all we had to do was light it. There is still landscaping work being done, but it did not affect how much we enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to seeing it again once it’s completed!

Very nice place. Had a ton of room for each couple to have their own bedroom and bathroom. Nice location close to the ski slope but was out of town enough. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return to ski again in the future.

This BNB is a good taste of the simple life. It is a cute old farm house. My husband and I used this house as a base camp to explore Ellicottville and it was perfect! Only about 15 minute drive to town, and it's quite a pretty drive. The Japanese Soaking tub was perfect to relax our muscles after a long day. Just don't be dumb and forget to bring soap to wash up before getting in like my husband and I since they did not have any available lol. This property has 3 full baths which would be very convenient for a family staying there, and or just nice for a couple to have multiple options. I would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful time at the Chautauqua Lake House. It was cozy and warm, even though we had a lake-effect snow storm. There were enough beds for everyone, and even though the table didn't fit everyone, we moved a picnic table inside so we could all eat together,

We loved our weekend getaway at Kathy’s AirBnb. It was located in a quaint area just outside of Ellicottville, about a 15 minute drive to town. The house was very clean and cozy. Kathy had all the available kitchen utilities you could need. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.
