Amish are close by so check out their markets, and just enjoy that outstanding view and lake access on a private beach. I loved everything about my stay here. Thank you so much! As soon as we walked in the door, we felt immediately at home! This was one of the best Air B&B stays that we have ever encountered! My wife was so impressed with how thoughtful the decor was and the welcome basket was yet another detail that we did not expect. The lake view was beautiful and even though the weather wasn't the best, it was the type of place that you could just relax and spend the day right there. Maripat and Tim were truly "Super Hosts" and it was evident with their home and their great communication. They literally thought of everything that you could possibly need and anything else was pretty close by. We had the most relaxing and stress free getaway that we've had in awhile. If our travels take us back to western NY again, I can guarantee that we will be trying to stay at this beautiful place on the lake. If we could give this 12 stars...we would!

Always a great time at Chautauqua Lake! We enjoyed the stay - access to the water and the neighboring pool. Quiet and secluded and still access to everything. Deborah was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Would stay again in the future!

Great place to enjoy the Great Lake, Lake Erie

Search NO FURTHER!!!! This place has everything from amazing & friendly hosts, to a beautiful view of the lake, and to the small details such as umbrellas, scotch tape, and scissors! The bathroom medicine cabinet had first aid things, Motrin, bacterial wipes, simply all those small things that are easy to forget from home. This Airbnb is definitely worth every penny and we will keep it on the top of our list for when we travel to NY next time.

We had an excellent stay in Bemus Point. The lake view is really special and the location is perfect. Tom was a great host and responded quickly to questions about the coffee maker, internet, etc. It is a nice little unit. It seems to be an older unit that was partially refurbished. It was clean and cozy, but still shows its age in some spots. It was a great value and the 3 of us were very comfortable for the 4 nights we stayed. We had a great time visiting for the Eclipse. Highly Recommend!!

I grew up on Chautauqua lake and always try to get back for a week during the summer - Shawn's place is the perfect spot for us. We have young children and they enjoyed hanging out upstairs and digging through the closet of kids toys. We had great weather and were able to bring our boat and keep it at the dock during our stay which was a major convenience for us. We had a fire every night and had friends pop in to visit and enjoy the lakeside fun with us. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home! Spacious and comfortable! Backyard was completely fenced in, and the neighborhood was quiet! The kitchen had almost every type of appliance and utensil that you would want for a “staycation!” The hot tub was also delightful and well maintained! And plenty of towels! We look forward to coming in the summer

The house was so cozy and had a ton of things to do for my teens. Plenty of room to spread out, fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous master suite bathroom, and a beautiful view! Most importantly, our hosts could not have been more gracious when we ran into weather-related issues and we didn't know when we could leave because of snow. We feel very lucky to have found this location, it was the perfect place to spend our holiday.

An amazing place with a great sight to see of the ocean and with a fantastic pizza place in walkable distance, I just loved the area and I would love to come back again!

Hospitable merely begins to describe the stay my friends and I had at John’s property. The place offered everything you could need and then some. Communication was superb, instructions were clear and John was kind. The location of the house was phenomenal. Sunrises were gorgeous and the hot tub was great. Can’t wait to stay here again!
