Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cerritos Beach

I organized a family trip for our baby’s first spring break; 9 of us adults. The house was perfect for an easy going vacation. Amenities were as expected and hosts are exceptional— they clearly enjoy hosting and put a lot of care into their property. It’s well thought out and they provide all the nice essentials to be comfortable for a large group: good towels, sheets, beds, lounge chairs, group dining areas and an incredible salt water pool. Pescadero is a neat area with lots of unnamed dirt roads. Directions were clear and needed! Highly recommend. Our whole family had a wonderful time, explored a new part of the broader Todos Santos area and thoroughly relaxed.

We stayed at Vila del Faro with 6 adults and 4 kids aged 18 mos to 15 years. Plenty of room for all to come together or have some privacy. We loved the abundance of outdoor play options on the property - pool, hot tub, ping pong, bocce ball, volleyball, trampoline, beautiful vegetation, hammocks for reading, etc. A beach for walks is less than 1/4 mile away, and Cerritos beach is a longer walk or 5ish minute drive. Be sure to grab tacos and margaritas at Barracuda after catching your waves! Comments below are only for awareness if you have not travelled to Baja before: - The roads are rough and unmarked. You'll need a vehicle with good clearance but not 4wd. Try to arrive during the day (we got super lost in the dark). The coordinates in the listing are not accurate, so follow David's directions. - water and propane are limited, so be thoughtful & prioritize. We opted not to heat the pool, so little ones found it quite cold. Hot tub heats fast & stays warm for a long while.

I would 100% stay at James and Tish's place at Cerritos Surf Town again! Fabulous view, beach, pool, location and ammenities.

I've been enjoying Cerritos Beach for years and we always enjoy staying at Villa Cerritos. it's a great location that is convenient, family friendly, and safe. there's always staff on hand if you need anything and the units are always clean. thanks again for another great vacation!

What a wonderful spot. Everything we needed for our two night stay. Easy walk to the beach and cafe nearby. Pool is beautiful. We look forward to coming back.

We are incredibly grateful to Andrew for making our stay at his home a memorable experience. His fantastic recommendations for local food and activities truly enhanced our trip. The cozy hut, complete with an outdoor kitchen, was perfect for our beach-loving family and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The beach was just a short walk away (we also opted to drive with our beach gear), and we enjoyed delicious tacos right on the shore, as well as coffee conveniently located near the parking area. We had the pleasure of meeting many amazing people along the beach, and even rented surfboards to try our hand at surfing. Everything about our stay was fantastic! A special highlight for the kids was the pool and hot tub, which provided the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Thank you, Andrew, for everything! We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Two very quiet rooms each with a bathroom. Very safe. Great location, a short walk to the beach. Wish I stayed longer. Will next time.

I have never been sad leaving and airBnB but Alberto's place was so magical and special. The property was beautiful and well kept. The casita was clean, simple and perfect and had everything we needed. Alberto was an exceptional host, friendly, helpful and just a great guy. The property was a 5min walk to an incredible beach. I have no complaints at all. We will be back! Thanks Alberto!

The house and property are beautiful. The kitchen is really big and there were many well-kept bathrooms. Playa Los Mangos beach is pretty and really accessible. We had a lot of great sunset walks along it. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Las Tunas is walkable with some restaurants and a grocery store. Downtown Todos Santos is an easy 7 minute drive and fun to walk around. We had a great time!

I love the little moon casita! I slept like a baby there with the comfortable bed and only the sounds of birds and the waves. I loved to watch whales from the porch with my coffee and the sunset spread across the sky from the roof. It’s the perfect getaway for meditation, rest, slow walks on the beach, quiet birdwatching and reading as you lay on the porch swing in the desert garden. It’s a low stim eden. We’ll be back!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Per's house. I actually giggled doing the review of "did it live up to the description" because prior to our stay I chatted with Per and he totally downplayed how warm and comfortable their house is. You can really tell it's a loved family beach house. It isn't the ritzy/Instragramable/modern style that a lot of other houses in the area appear to be, it's more classic Mexican beach style. The home is comfortable - the beds were all super comfortable and all have their own bathroom. The layout is a little quirky but not in a bad way. All the amenities are there and easy to use. Hot water and water pressure were great. The beach is insanely beautiful - we walked, jogged, played, fished, whale watched - and it's easy to pop over to Cerritos either on foot (about 30 min beautiful walk/hike) or 5 min by car. We would absolutely rent this house again!

Alec was super nice. The rooms clean and simply but nicely styled. Neighborhood quiet for the most part , and nice to walk around. Definitely follow the written instructions included with reservation to find it and don’t use map app as that area doesn’t represent well. Beautifully cared for grounds.

Thank you Jessica and Ivan for having us. It was so peaceful listening to the waves crash as we drifted off to sleep. We will be back!

The bungalow was just as promised. Basic accommodations in a fabulous location. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable. Very safe - we enjoyed walking around the area and visiting with locals and other visitors. We hit Super Munchies each morning for a cup or coffee/tea. WIFI signal exceeded my expectations. Tips for travelers: Request additional towels for the bungalow during your stay - or bring your own. Find out if there is any construction going on in the area - if that type of noise would be bothersome to you.

Our first time to Todos Santos and we can’t wait to book again at Steve and Marlie’s place. Unfortunately the owners were out of town on our visit but the manager Ernie and their pool guy helped us with everything on site. Prior to our arrival our communication with the owners was amazing. Everyone of my many many questions were answered! The house and view were stunning. Due to a national propane shortage the pool was unable to be heated…with the proper amount of tequila we didn’t notice the chilly waters at all! Sure it would have been great to have a warmer pool but when life gives you limes and lemons make margaritas!! The house dog was so sweet and she actually barks upon anyone entering the property. Great guard dog. I rented a car at airport and drove in. Suggestion: take few screen shots of satellite map on your phone(there pool is unique) and you won’t have a issue locating the house upon your arrival. Oh and speed bumps are not painted in Todos Santos….go slow on way in until you learn the spots! Overall….5 stars!!!

We went with our family, kids and grandkids. We were close to town and another neighborhood. The grounds were so beautiful. The birds plentiful, and the house and Casita were wonderful for our family. We enjoyed the pool

I’ve stayed in Todos Santos several times now and this was the best so far! Convenient location, upscale amenities, great host - just all around the perfect place to spend the trip. So easy to walk or bike anywhere in town. Gorgeous unit with great pool and outdoor space! Loved it - thanks Heather!

It was a lovely place, private, clean, and everything we expected to make our stay here so enjoyable. Great location. We will be coming back with our family.

Howie's place was wonderful! The rooftop deck is so beautiful, we sat every morning with coffee and watched the whales frolic, and every evening saw the sunset. The hosts are so responsive and very helpful. The condo is clean and well laid out. This is a perfect location, steps to the beach, restaurants, surf shop, etc, and it felt very safe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I really cant say enough about Rachelle's space. I went there for beach time and I literally couldn't have been closer. They are the last residential road before the beach access road and 3 minute walk takes you from the gated private community entrance to the beach. The space itself was clean and comfortable. We mostly cooked while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. The gated community that her space is in was quiet and felt totally safe. the pool was a nice way to finish a day after the beach and the bathroom had a door to the outside so you could go directly to the shower without having to traipse through the house first. As a surfer who spent every morning on the water, this was a plus. I loved this space and will absolutely be renting it again when I come back.

Beautiful, comfortable home. Definitely need a car, but easy drive to town or down the road for tacos. Easy drive or walk to Playa El Pastor which was one of my favourites in the area. The kitchen was very well equipped, beds super comfortable, cozy comfy living space, beautiful pool and sunset viewing deck. Our group of 8 had an amazing time and highly recommend. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Jenny's place. Absolutely beautiful architecture, and a great location between town and the beach. The only thing to note is that the pool is in a different area than the house, which requires some coordination to get in and out, but the pool area is great too.

This house was a great set up for our family (parents and 2 young adult children). We loved the location. Had some amazing meals on the beach just 10 min drive from the house. Walked to the beach in the morning - 1/2 mile away. Met some wonderful neighbors. The views of the sunset were gorgeous. You can see the ocean from the house (between and over the homes built in front of this one). Short drive into the town of Todos Santos (10 min). There is a lot of construction taking place around this house but it didn't really bother us at all. This house is over 10 years old, but the pool and secondary room are 3 years old. There is a car port which was great for keeping our car cool on hot days. Fernanda was our host durning our stay and she was very helpful with suggestions, assistance and making sure our stay was comfortable.
