Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Central Saanich

Beautiful pet friendly property, biggest thing for us was it was very CLEAN. Recently had a terrible experience and was hesitant to use AirBnB again but Gail’s home was wonderful. She even left some home baking out for us when we arrived, very thoughtful! The only thing we didn’t really realize was that even though it is a private enclosed suite, there is people that live on the other side of the home that we could hear late at night. Not Gail’s fault at all, just something to note. Very friendly couple and inviting home for us to retreat to after a long day adventuring!

We were in the Shawnigan Lake area to watch our son’s hockey. There were 4 adults and 1 teen, we had plenty of space and It was a very comfortable stay. Clean, quiet and very modern! Would definitely book again!

The first thing you notice when pulling in is that there is a lot of creativity and even bigger plans afoot for this unique property. We want to return just to see how Forbidden Island & All of its features continues to take shape. Twin Palms is currently the only completed unit so you get the feel of having a resort all to yourself. No expense was spared on this unit from finishes, decorations, appliances, etc. The care and attention to detail in every respect is simply stellar. There's nothing about Twin Palms we didn't love. Also if you have sensitivity to fragrance like we do in laundry detergents (we always bring our own sheets and towels) there's nothing to worry about here. Everything was scent free. We have never stayed at the same short term rental twice simply because there's so many intriguing options.. We absolutely want to return here.

We had a great stay at Gerry’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. He went above and beyond with a detailed tour of the space, making sure we were fully informed about every corner of the place. We really appreciated the dedication ! Overall, a lovely stay and a place we’d come back to.

Kevin's place was wonderful to stay at, was quite and peaceful. Close to the beaches and other amenities. Made attending my friends babyshower effortless. The mini putting course was also fun as hell!

Budd's place was even better than I expected and I can't wait to return. My friends were also blown away by how stunning it was. It had everything you could possibly need and was such a great escape from the city. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the log cabin! The hosts were very responsive during and after booking. The cabin was great for a large group and conveniently located in Sooke.

This was one of the best places we stayed so far. The house was spacious, very well organized and put together, and the views of the lake were amazing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in this cold weather with the views, it was something else!! Sean and Allison were great, very accommodating and responsive. I would definitely come back again in the spring.

: We stayed at Jiva’s Airbnb for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th, and it was absolutely perfect! The views of the ocean and mountains are simply breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were wonderful: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub every night, taking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a special celebration, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

The accommodations at Karli’s were excellent. Stellar view, comfortably furnished hundreds of books to choose from and a bonus to have access to a BBQ (a Weber no less) and hot tub. Easy walk to “downtown” Crofton where there were a couple of pubs and coffee shops. The Crofton location worked well for us with Duncan nearby and a quick ferry ride to Saltspring Island and short drive to Ladysmith, Chemainus, Mill Bay, etc. Highly recommend it!!

Attila's Sweet Suite was great accommodation, with a full kitchen and lots of space for two adults and a dog. We felt comfortable and relaxed there. The suite is in a quiet neighbourhood and is a short walk to beach access to Shawnigan Lake. Attila responded quickly to questions and was proactive considering our dog. It's a great place for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Ruthie’s oasis was one of our favorite AirBnb stays ever! It was so spacious, so comfortable, and her garden was absolutely stunning! She even had baked rhubarb pie for us, from her rhubarb garden. She was so king, accommodating, welcoming and her home is in the most beautiful, private area. It takes less than 10 minutes to get most places on the island and her patio/hammocks were such a nice place to relax. Will definitely be back to her place!

Our stay at this Airbnb treehouse was nothing short of magical! Madi was incredibly nice and went out of her way to be flexible with our schedule, which made the experience stress-free. The treehouse itself was spotless and radiated a cozy charm that made us feel right at home. Every detail, from the comfortable furnishings to the serene surroundings, added to the experience. Highly recommend this little slice of paradise for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

If you have the chance to book Shannon’s oasis in Shawnigan Lake, don’t miss out! My friends and I really enjoyed our mini getaway from the big city here, you have everything you may need to unwind here. With access to a 24/7 hot tub, a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal, and a cozy bed to sleep in, what more can you ask for?

My little family of 3 throughly enjoyed our stay at Michele’s cabin. Leading up to our stay, Michele was very communicative, and accommodating to any needs—even having the place ready for us early without our request! It was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed. Our three year old daughter wanted to “come back and visit everyday”. We will definitely be back one day! Thanks Michele.

My family and I had a wonderful 4 day stay in Sooke at Marissa’s cozy cabin. The home was exactly as described and had a nice kitchen, warm living room, cozy bedrooms, and comfortable beds. We made a fire in the wood burning stove every evening and enjoyed the ambiance of the home. The heart of Sooke was about a 10 minute drive away, and it took about 30-40 minutes to drive to downtown Victoria. We also enjoyed mountain biking only 3 minutes away at a local park and running along the Galloping Goode trail which was also only minutes away. Marissa was very responsive to our every request, and we appreciated how she stayed on top of any issues during our stay. Overall, we would definitely come back again.

This was the perfect spot for a girls getaway weekend, but really it would be the perfect spot for any type of getaway. Huge thanks to Leah and Jayme for their responsiveness and going out of their way to make the whole experience as enjoyable as possible. It's hard to believe, but the place is even more beautiful than what you see in the pictures, and every detail to improve guest experience has been thought of. I'd give 500 stars if I could!

We really loved our stay at Victor's place! check in experience was wonderful, we were welcomed to a toasty, cozy fire. Mayne island has lots to do and adventures/trails to explore with our dog. Be sure to check out the pub down the street! Victor was an excellent host and fast with communication! Thanks again.

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at in my lifetime. I’ve never had a more restful and serene holiday waking up to glorious views in beautiful vintage bedding. The decorating was so quaint and warm and the thoughtful amenities were special. The owner was kind and beautiful also. Love this place 💙.

Loved the place. I have stayed in many Airbnb’s and this is definitely one of my favorites. Often places that allow dogs are just not that nice. Trina’s home, however, is beautifully built with lovely wood features, leather furniture, high end appliances, super comfy beds and lots of thoughtful amenities. It was also incredibly quiet. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time.
