Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Central Illinois

I used to live on Vandalia Lake, so I knew what to expect from the location - but the house is much nicer than pretty much anything else you'll find in Vandalia. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend while celebrating my granny's 82nd, and it's very likely we'll rent it again in the future, assuming it remains available for that purpose. The main living/kitchen/dining area is wide open and great for hanging out without feeling cramped, and the screened balcony/patio is a lovely place to enjoy the outdoors without being forced to "enjoy" the bugs. Everything is light, airy, modern, and well-maintained. This isn't one of those listings where the photos look great and the reality is worn and dirty - what you see is what you get.

Loved this place, it was PERFECT for a family gathering. Everyone who arrived said how much they loved the home and layout. There more than enough room to have friends and family visit. Plenty of bathrooms and beds were all comfortable. There were all the amenities needed, fans, extra blankets, shampoos and towels. Clean up was not overly extensive. I stay in approx. 6-8 airbnbs a year and found no fault- was seriously impressed. Will be back!!

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Nashville. It looks just like the photos on line. Lena was a great thinking of all the little extras that make a stay comfortable. - Thank you!

Stevan’s place is a little bit out of town of Quincy, but it is really nice. The whole place was wonderful. We loved the huge living/dining room and the great kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were amazing. We were very thankful.

This place was a true gem for our family of four. We were visiting family in the area of the holidays and this was our home away from home. It was very clean and quiet and perfect for our family. Thank you!

Amazing place and the owner was very helpful

We stayed here with our 2 dogs on a cross country roadtrip. We needed somewhere near i80 and dog friendly. Hotels are a pain with 2 dogs so staying in Lisa’s Airbnb apartment was a nice change! Everything exactly as described. The best part was the dogs being able to use the fenced in backyard after a long day in the car. Also helpful there was already a metal crate as we crate one of our dogs at night who likes to pace :) also bonus there was tea coffee grounds and a coffee maker

A beautifully restored historical building but totally modern inside. A fantastically comfortable bed. A nice private courtyard to sit outside if the weather cooperates! lol! Very cold when we were there and the fireplace inside was a nice touch.

Hi - Do you want a great place that’s centrally located, super clean, and roomy (with magnificent hosts who live onsite)? If so, book this property! It is one of 4 units they have in this beautiful building (and I have stayed in each of them multiple times). Will be back again soon!

We absolutely loved Ron’s place. It was beautiful, great location, quiet, & within walking distance from great restaurants & attractions. We will definitely want to stay here again. This was a beautiful apartment with everything that you would need to feel at home…

Michael's villa was exactly what I needed for a short retreat. I was able to take full advantage of all the amenities in the villa and outside at Starved Rock State Park which was just a minute drive away. Also a short drive away from the quaint downtown Utica for shopping and food.

We enjoyed our stay. Villa is spotless clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Owners are friendly, informative and available. We had the opportunity for our grandkids to interact with their children and it was wonderful. Very nice family!

Great spot to go with friends and family. They have a water park, arcade, mini golf, and an ice cream place. We had a fun time at this resort and would definitely do it again!

This place was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Ahamed was a great guest and if I needed anything he always offered to help out. I recommend his place for anyone looking to stay in Bloomington for a bit. You won’t be disappointed.

Clean, spacious, and cozy townhome with well stocked amenities. Felt like home! Very close to Starved Rock State Park with a trail head practically across the street. I would recommend this place to friends and family as a great place to stay when visiting Utica, Ottawa, or LaSalle.
