Dave’s place is in a beautiful old renovated industrial type building near downtown. It is very walkable to nearly all of the interesting sites in Dunedin. The apartments are very nicely appointed and tasteful. We had found a frying pan in the cabinet that had evidently been burned and ruined by a previous guest and once I told Dave about it he immediately went out and bought us a new pan and brought it over. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner/heater kept us comfortable no matter the weather (Dunedin can be a bit dreary). The kitchen was pretty well-equipped and the washer-dryer machine worked great. We enjoyed our two weeks in Dunedin and especially the easy access to good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets not too far away. We found the busy street in front of the building tolerable but at night I wore earplugs since I’m a light sleeper and it is a major highway through town. We would recommend staying there.

Wow! Very impressed. Felt like home on arrival. Wonderful old building oozing charm. Exactly as described. Space to spread out. Kitchen had everything and more re appliances and coffee machine. Radio, heating, lights and even electric blankets on upon arrival. Extra touches were thoughtful and welcoming. Lots of options - games galore. Thank you A+++ host and accommodation.

The apartment was very clean with new furniture and new kitchen/bathroom, which was fantastic. The walk wasn't as 'flat' as I thought it would be (I guess it's all relative though, especially in hilly Dunedin!). The description of a fully stocked kitchen 'to ensure the comforts of home' was a little bit inaccurate as there was not much other than tea, coffee, sugar (for example, no paper towels, no plastic storage containers etc). The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable for my family of 4, however the sofa was only big enough for 2 adults. It was missing some finishing touches like a rug in the living area, cushions, throw blankets, hall stands etc. All that said, it was a nice apartment, just not as cosy or homely as some of the others I've stayed in while in NZ.

Rebecca’s place was in a pleasant, suburban neighbourhood. It was was clean, spacious and had all the facilities you might need. Rebecca was friendly and responded quickly to requests. Rebecca and family live upstairs and there is some noise transference at times but nothing beyond normal family living.

A perfect place to stay on the peninsula. 15 mins drive to central Dunedin and 5 mins to Port Chalmers. Just a short walk down to Sawyers Bay. Beautiful views. The wee unit was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciated having tea and coffee and milk provided. Thanks Trixie!

Quiet seclusion yet close to town

We loved our stay here. It worked so well for us with whole bottom floor of the house with great spacious well-equipped kitchen, separate bathroom, bedroom and lounge. We enjoyed the two large comfortable couches in the lounge and especially enjoyed sitting and looking out onto the secluded garden space. Liz was friendly and very responsive to any request. We love the area especially with the views and very close access to all the walks in the Ross Creek Reservoir Reserve.

The kitchen features polished concrete flooring with an inlaid spiral design. A central island with seating is surrounded by wooden cabinetry. High-end appliances, including a refrigerator and stove, are visible, with natural light filtering through the nearby window.

Ken’s place was in a quiet neighborhood only a 5 minute drive to downtown. Very hilly area and he accurately described the steps you have to walk down to access the apartment. Sturdy rail made it easy to go up and down. All in all a great place to explore Dunedin from.

We had such a nice stay at Linda's for a swim competition at the pool just 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is so spacious and peaceful and had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again next time we are in Dunedin.

My family and I spent three days staying at Jono’s place in Dunedin. Spacious apartment, great for a family. Loved that we were in walking distance off the cbd. Definitely recommend if you are coming to Dunedin. Thank you we had a great Xmas 🎄

The apartment was in a beautiful building and looked historical to me and exactly like the pictures. Fully Equipped kitchen, and I had the pleasure to use the new stove 😊. There are plenty of dishes, bowls, silverware and cookware. If you’re a Farmer market lover like me the apartment is 8 minutes’ walk to the market. The Octagon is 15 minutes (short legs😊). Chinese garden and Queens Garden are 5 minutes. My boys loved the private heated Jacuzzi it was on charming rooftop terrace with stunning city and hills views. The location is very quiet. Suzie the host was very caring and sweet. Thank you Suzie.💐
