We loved our stay on the farm! Jen's darling place is just as described - inviting, private, peaceful, and relaxing. She has many welcoming features, including farm fresh eggs, manchego cheese, wine, coffee, tea as well as nibbles for us to enjoy. The space is thoughtfully curated, cozy, and full of warmth. Sitting outside each morning with coffee, enjoying the animals and the bird calls was a highlight - as well as having a glass of wine at night by her fire pit, admiring the stars and quiet. Jen was very responsive and provided a guide book filled with tips and recommendations (we followed many). We'd love to come back!

Sunrise Ranch - A countryside getaway

This is our second time staying at the ranch. This place feels makes you feel like you’re home. Everything is so quiet and peaceful. They have the friendliest silly goats. In the evenings you can sit under the huge eucalyptus trees and watch the deer come down the hills. There’s also Jack rabbits and lots of little lizards that my kids enjoyed being surprised by. Dawn and Paul are always very accommodating and quick to respond or come right on over if you have any issues. The ranch is located in the hills but it’s literally a 5m drive to town. The hot tub is private and a great way to unwind at the end of the day. We can’t wait to come back!

Bonnie and Mike were excellent hosts. They were super responsive and attentive throughout our stay. It is apparent that they take good care of their home and all of their animals, which include llamas, alpacas, horses, a donkey, pigs, chickens, tortoises and dogs. We also observed a lot of lizards on the small wall behind the house. Picturesque, enchanting, and memorable; my kids are still talking about feeding the alpacas and how large the donkey was! This home is approximately 30 minutes from the Monterey coast, making this the ideal place to stay if you can’t decide between the beach or a farm. Come prepared with a large bag of carrots and enjoy the serene experience of this eclectic farmhouse.

This is a great place to stay with your family. Nick responded very quickly. We’ve stayed here four times now, and it’s our favorite place to stay when we visit Paso Robles. It’s very close to the grocery stores, and there are many wineries nearby. It’s also about a 40-minute drive to Cambridge Beach.

Lee Ann’s place was beyond 5 stars! It is such a fabulous location with views, privacy, and the peace and quiet of idyllic countryside. She has outfitted her home with thoughtfulness and quality. It was evident that a lot of care has gone into making sure everything a guest would need was taken care of. The home was clean and prepared for our arrival. The QR codes for appliance operation were super helpful. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed for meal preparation. Each evening we enjoyed sharing our left over veggies with the goats and the cow! This is definitely a place we want to return to. Thank you Lee Ann!

Great stay if you want to take a break, but not too far from civilization. You can relax there and never leave, or explore the beach or go further inland. Located on a hill with some beautiful flowers, wonderful goats, and chatty chickens if you want to say hello. Three miles from the beach. Plenty of food recommendations. Ember restaurant in AG or Jocko’s in Nipomo for a great steak meal, Hayashis or Okuis for fresh strawberries, Urbane Cafe for casual dining, and Burrito Loco for nearby Mexican. The Chevron near Burrito Loco has better than average prices. For shopping, Arroyo Grande and Cambria have cute downtowns. Paso Robles offers more shopping and SLO’s Monterey and Higuera streets are an upscale outdoor shopping mall. Trader Joe’s nearby as well to stock up. Both the bed and the sofa are comfortable to sleep on. I am planning to come back in a few months!

This property is an absolute gem! Out in the country with very little traffic. Greatc360 degree views of the local wine country. Bill and Julie's dining recommendations were spot on. The only recommendation we would make, is to have a key pad on the inside of the gate as well. We had to drive a car down to the gate so my wife could get out to go for a run. We would highly recommend this property for a couple or family! Cheers, Andy
