Staying in our shepherd's hut is the Association, a healing refreshment, and a holiday with an amazing sunset. The shepherd's hut is on a fenced-in property in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area. It is located in an undeveloped part of the village, near our house, there are pastures all around, so no sprayed fields. On the pastures of a herd of cows and sheep, and a beautiful view of Šumava in front of you. Drinking water available. Firewood is included. Tadle shepherd's hut is our wooden heart, which we've renovated ourselves. It's just a different, amazing view of the world.

Directly from the house you can connect to the bike path along the Jizera. The nearest swimming is 2 km. Prague is 45 minutes away. A sauna is available from October to April.

Farm in the middle of a wild garden

Our cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ostrý, which is surrounded by vast pastures and forests of the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. There used to be a farm here, of which only the stables and the swallows nesting in them remain today. Around the cottage is a large natural garden, which we use partly as a utility and partly as an ornamental garden. On one side, the garden ends with a pond, a road and a neighboring house, on the other sides it passes into an open landscape. There is a cat in the garden and in the house and a hen in the yard.

Maringotka (caravan) Alfons has got a great history. At first, maringotka had travelled a hundreds kilometers with Berousek’s circus, where its aim was to be a “home on the wheels” and few years after that it became unfashionable and was parked for some more time. Despite the bad time, it quickly had found its new owner and a lot of admirers in a year 2015, when it was given as a birthday present. Nowadays, marignotka is a beautiful caravan in countryside with great view on Lipnice castle.

The house is part of a family farm where horses are housed. As part of the stay, it is possible to provide children with an experience in the stable (they will ride a pony, clean and feed it, take a photo with it). For tourists, there are several beautiful hills nearby (Raná, Oblík, Milá, ruins of Hazmburk Castle). There are plenty of forests around the village that mushroom pickers will love.
