Cottage vacation rentals in Cawood

We had a fantastic few days at Holly Cottage, they really have thought of everything! Instruction videos, chargers by the beds, lovely welcome tray of goodies and wine. The cottage is so tranquil with loads to do nearby. We highly recommend the museum quarter and the fruit market area in Hull as well The Deep and Beverley. The garden and hot tub are also great. A few people had mentioned rules in the reviews but they were all just sensible advice and common sense and not an issue whatsoever. We loved our stay and will be back, thanks so much for a lovely break ⭐

We had a wonderful stay at Rosewall Cottage. It was extremely peaceful and the cottage cozy and comfortable with everything we could have needed. We loved seeing the chickens in the garden and listening to their funny little noises! Lia was very responsive and sent a brilliant mini video showing the street view of the property, making the cottage super easy to find. A fantastic place to stay for my uncles 80th birthday surprise. Thank you Lia, you are a great host.

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Thank you for letting us stay. The house was lovely and the surrounding area was great! The hot tub added a really nice touch to the evening, and the recommendation for breakfast at Arthur’s made our last day even better.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely cozy cottage in the beautiful village of Addingham. The cottage was nice and clean with welcoming goodies on arrival. Lorraine provided is us with useful information of places to visit around the location and how to access the parking space before we arrived. The hot tub is so relaxing after a nice walk. We had such a cosy and relaxing stay at The Nook. The hot tub was a treat, but what truly made it special was the cinema room—we spent our evenings introducing our kids to our favourite films, and it was such a lovely way to bond as a family. The whole place was full of thoughtful, personal touches that made it feel extra welcoming, and the generous welcome hamper was unlike anything we've ever had before. A perfect little getaway spot—we’d absolutely love to return!

We loved our stay at Wendy's cottage. It was beautifully clean with a lovely comfortable bed and an amazing shower! Everything you could need for a few days away. The little extra touches were really lovely too. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!

Beautiful little cottage. Very clean with plenty to get you started. Lovely welcome package. Holly was very responsive to questions and made sure we had check-in in okay. We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Sarah and Mark's property. The location was ideal for us, as we were visiting family in the area, but we were also able to enjoy serenity at the cottage between visiting. From the cottage we could walk our dogs peacefully up the road (a huge bonus for us as they need a quiet life), and I managed a long run from the doorstep - discovered some fab trails. The cottage had everything we needed and overall was a very relaxing stay. Sarah and Mark were responsive throughout too, always helpful and friendly - they even offered a late checkout, as no guests staying directly after us, which was incredibly thoughtful. Would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Elley is an excellent host. She communicated clearly and was quick to respond in the run up to our stay. She took the time to greet us on arrival, showing us around the accommodation and providing plenty of recommendations for places to go in the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Chimney Cottage was everything we expected and more. A gorgeous cottage in a quiet village with fabulous walks and scenery. The cottage was clean, cosy and very homely. We loved the log fire in the evening and the shower was fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

This was a perfect location to explore York and the local area. It’s only a short distance to the park and ride and also ideal as a base to explore Milton and Pickering. There were clear instructions on how to find the property and lovely scones on arrival. It was lovely place to stay with everything we needed. I’m certain we will stay again.

Beautiful place to stay for a couple of days. We were using a race track about 10 miles away and also enjoyed local strolls with the dogs. The chickens in the lovely garden were an added bonus.

We will definitely be returning! The cottage - beautiful, cozy and everything you could need. We sat on the front porch every morning and evening with our dog taking in the views. Well decorated and well located from the town. Destination - brilliant, we came with doing some of the Peak District trails in mind and several of them are very close by. The town is wonderful, plenty of brilliant cafes, bars and shops near by. Host - Tracey couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful if she tried. She responds very quickly, gives great recommendations and checking in/out was easy as anything. We can’t wait to book again, and will be staying longer next time!

We only stayed 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed short our stay here. The cottage is a lovely cosy place to stay. There was a nice assortment of supplied goodies we found on check in. The cottage is only a short walk from local pubs and restaurants. We used the Nameste Bengal Indian restaurant and the Black Swan pub for dinner. Both were very nice and good food. The service at the Indian was excellent so give it a try. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the cottage.

We had a wonderful weekend at Emma’s place. The location is very picturesque. We loved walking along the stream & river. The location was peaceful with a secluded & secure garden. The house was spotless and spacious - perfect for our family of 5. We all slept very well in the comfy beds and the house had everything we needed when travelling with young children - from plates, cups, bath toys, books, stair gate and cot. 2 nights wasn’t long enough so I hope we’ll be back.

Such a lovely stay in this immaculate home, Richard was a great host. The location was great just a short 5 minute walk to the Main Street where there is plenty to do. 10 minute drive from amazing country walks. The house itself was great with a cosy homely feel making the stay that much better. We will 100% stay there again….. Thanks

Beautiful stay at Triangle Cottage - warm, inviting and cosy. The cottage is a destination in itself; as well as having an excellent trip to Hebden Bridge it was fantastic to be able to spend evenings reading by the fire with a glass of wine. It has everything you need and is in the perfect location to explore the town and its surroundings.

Had an absolutely fabulous time , it was a relaxing, chilling weekend and Sue was a fabulous host . The cottage was lovely , everything you needed was there and a great location with amenities less than 2 miles away. Definitely recommend this place . Thank you Sue. Ps local pub food delicious .
