Vacation rentals with a pool in Cathkin Park

Such a great location with a view that never gets old. Around a 10 minute drive to local supermarkets and Monks Cowl which is a great place to go for a hike. James was kind enough to recommend some popular hikes and was very clear with his instructions. Would highly recommend 👏

Faraway cottage was perfect for a relax and rejuvenation stay! It was clean and neat. The cottage was better than expected and worth the price. Everything was immaculate. The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful and our stay was great. We’ll definitely be back to visit again!

Home away from home is how my family described our stay. We were very comfortable and had all the space for each of us to enjoy in a peaceful and tranquil setting. The weather in the Berg can be a little unpredictable and on the day that the weather turned, we enjoyed the home to its fullest not feeling the need to leave or go out for the sake of going out. Rudi was always helpful, proactively communicating and checking in on us. Veronica was pleasant, and efficient and helpful. Most definitely we will be returning - without out doubt and it’s one of the best places we’ve had the privilege to stay at as we continue our exploration of the Berg

Accommodating 5 adults, one 5 year old boy and a baby under one roof is a challenge at the best of time. Louise’s accommodation was a perfect fit for us. We all really appreciated this. The view of the “Berg” was fantastic too. Definitely to be recommended. Many thanks, Louise!

Perfect stay indeed. Mrs Renee left us in the care of her daughter since she was away and what a remarkable service we got from her and her husband. We struggled with water for a while which was not their fault ofcourse and the urgency we got when we needed their help was really appreciated. We had a fantastic stay so much so that we didn’t even sleep cause we wanted to take in every moment of the night. We are truly grateful for Mrs Sarah’s service and kindness. Hope to be back next time.

Magda and Chris are charming warm and friendly hosts. You immediately feel at ease on arrival. A map and quick guide of the area proved invaluable. Their place is a true hidden gem in the Drakensberg, waiting for you to discover it. Stunning uninterrupted views filled with beautiful birdsong choruses in landscaped gardens. The house is charming and the open plan kitchen and living spaces are great to spend time with loved one's. The kitchen is fully equipped and provides everything you need and more. Little complementary goods on arrival add to the unique touch and welcome of their place. We lost time sitting on the outside terrace enjoying the beauty of the area. Fire and gas bbq's are provided with a complementary stack of wood for all you braai enthusiasts out there. Lastly thankyou to Chris and Magda for an unforgettable stay. We will definitely be coming back.
