Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Cat Ba

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is in hills of Haiphong and it was great. The house itself is gorgeous and clean and has all amenities needed for cooking for yourself. It also has a great little pool and nice outdoor areas. Location-wise, the home was a 15 min walk from the town however it's at the top of a very steep hill, meaning walking to the town was fine, but we got Grabs back up afterwards. It was difficult to get Grabs to pick us up from our airbnb, maybe because it's on a new estate and so the taxi drivers were unfamiliar with the area. Haiphong is not very touristy & thus there weren't many available Grabs, even in the town. One trick we found was to go to the FLC hotel that is a 5 min walk away and order a taxi through their concierge. We also went to the rooftop bar there which was stunning. The area is quite the ghost town and even though the huge FLC hotel is right next door, we barely saw any tourists. Overall though, it was exactly what we needed/wanted!

After a hectic few days in Hanoi, we escaped to Halong for a little peace and quiet. We decided not to stay on a boat and this place is in the perfect location to get to both ports and to the main town. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are highly functional. The living area downstairs is large and comfortable. The WiFi is good enough for streaming shows on the one tv. While there was a super annoying noise during our first night, Hien tried to help us late that night and sorted it out the next day. The neighbourhood is overwhelmingly Vietnamese, which we enjoyed, and people in the local shops do not speak English, which we also loved! That said, it was very easy to use the auto translate function on our phones to communicate. We took grabs everywhere rather than taxis - very cheap, super safe and comfortable. If you are looking for a little peace and quiet and do. Or want to overnight on a boat on the bay, I would highly recommend Hien’s place.

Our group of 16 girls had so much fun staying at this place. This was their first stop off of Semester at Sea. After booking this, Jay was instantly in contact with me and very responsive, he helped us with anything we need and was even a tour guide one day for the girls. It made my daughter’s first time in Vietnam an experience for the books. I highly recommend this location for anyone coming to Vietnam.

Very nice apartment on the 25th floor overlooking Halong Bay. Everything was clean and it's pretty easy to access with the host's instructions. The photos don't showcase the apartment because it's bigger than the photos suggest. Thank you very much, I recommend

The apartment is spacious, light, has a fantastic view, is practically equipped and was clean. You can walk to beautiful cafes and local restaurants, shop at the market and walk on the waterfront. The apartment exactly matches the description. The host was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this property!
