Vacation rentals in Castro Daire

I was going to the MMOA festival held in Pídelo dos Milagres (very close) and needed a quiet place to rest at night and take advantage of the mornings to study a little. I have definitely found the ideal place, a very comfortable bed, a quiet place, a spectacular landscape and a very cool house to shelter from the heat (as well as the beautiful garden, which has a space with sun loungers under a very pleasant shade). The village is beautiful! Small but very charming Miguel and Silvia's parents were very kind. They told me some places to see and where to eat (in the nearby restaurant Recanto dos Carvalhos you can eat delicious meat). In short, a highly recommended place (except if you intend to study, because in the end, the time I was in Campo Benfeito, I spent walking and enjoying the surroundings 😁

We were received in a very friendly manner, Helder reacted very spontaneously to our arrival and departure time. The apartment is spacious, cozy and very clean. Facilities are as described, everything you could ever need is available. Supermarket and gas station in the village.

Mr. António was very attentive, he left a little gift, for which we can only be grateful. The house was impeccable, great to rest since it is in a very quiet place.

This place is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Everything was perfect, and our stay here was truly a healing experience. They even gave us some vegetables from their farm and fresh figs, which were the most delicious we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

We loved the place. It is located in the historic center of Castro Daire and is as shown in the description, with two bedrooms with two bathrooms in the upper part and a small living room with kitchen on the lower side. We would definitely repeat.

We loved a family weekend at Marta's house. Excellent host. Definitely a place to go back to.

Daniela and her parents were wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed staying at her place. Every amenity you can think of was provided. The views were unbeatable. A great place to make your Douro Valley base. We were so sad to leave and will be back soon. The house is super modern, very spacious, lots of light, big windows and doors, wrap around porch, lots of outdoor spaces, private garage and gated entry.

Wow! Really a great experience and a chance to have stayed in this pretty and rustic village, as well as in this house. It's so authentic it's like being in a movie! I recommend it to my kids. Please note that the host comes to hand over the keys, so be on time! Don't be like us. The house is also well-equipped, nothing missing. We loved it!
