Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Castleton

We live in Australia and headed back to the UK. We wanted to catch up with old friends and this was the perfect place. Rooms were big and comfy and quiet. Living space was great for the size of our group. We went in December so didn’t use the outside space much but I imagine at other times of the year the garden would be amazing. We had a lovely pre Christmas get together. Sadly storm Darragh hit us but that didn't matter as we had the log burner, jigsaw puzzle and red wine! The cottage was beautiful and well equipped (a few smaller sauce pans would be great). Overall a great stay. We had an issue with the heating - fine downstairs but cold upstairs - but this was rectified quickly with Dave and Katie. we will definitely return and we have recommended it to friends too. Thank you both very much.

We had an excellent family get together here. Plenty of space and the house has all the amenities you could need. Great location for exploring Bakewell and surrounding area. Ben was an excellent host.

Lovely 3 bedroom apartment in a peaceful location with a stunning view across the valley. Comfortable beds and great showers. It is the ground floor of a house with the owners living above, but it has separate access from the side and there was no noise from above at all. The spacious locked shed was an added bonus for storing my husbands bike. Just 5-10 mins walk down the hill to the shops, train station, open air swimming pool, cafes and restaurants in Hathersage. And only 25 minutes drive into Sheffield. The George was a lovely spot for a very tasty evening meal. Stunning walks from the door, including up to Stanage Edge. A great spot to stay for a walking holiday in the Peak District- we highly recommend it!

Debbie was a great host, very friendly. The place was just what we needed for a reunion of friends to walk in the Peak, visit some local pubs and spend time as a group at the property. Thank you!

We had a lovely, peaceful stay - the house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. In a great location with lots of lovely cafes and restaurants on our doorstep.

It's like a home from home! A very well equipped and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful walks from the door and a good selection of pubs within walking distance.

Very recommended. Welcoming and very friendly hosts. Clean and spacious apartment. Many things available in the apartment: biscuits, minced pie, coffee, tea, walking guides and maps,... Close to very beautiful Peak District spots.

The unit is cozy and comfortable, with a great view of Etihad Stadium from the balcony. While it has an older look, it is well-maintained. Check-in instructions were clear, and Naz was very responsive.

Charlotte is a fantastic host - very welcoming and has a fabulous apartment with quality amenities. Had everything we needed for our stay and more. Castleton is a perfect location for exploring the Peak District. Highly recommended.

A fantastic walkable location for coop live venue or the etihad stadium. Suzie was helpful and had brilliant clear instructions on how to access the property. Overall a lovely apartment and we would definitely stay again - thankyou for letting us stay in your lovely apartment!

we had a great 2 night stay to celebrate new year. everywhere was spotlessly clean and just as described. Teresa went over and above with some extra special touches like milk orange juice & prosecco in the fridge. there was also homemade muesli, marmalade and blackberry vodka Great location for lots of shops, bars and restaurants and lovely walks. in a really peaceful street didn't hear a noise all night. we only had one issue we couldn't get the TV to work but it was sorted in just a few minutes after messaging Teresa would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back

Lisa and Frank are the perfect hosts and The Hollies is beautifully decorated, cosy and a lovely place to be. I particularly liked the well stocked pantry of goodies! I always felt welcome yet also had privacy. I loved walking to Sheffield Botanical Gardens most days which is just a few minutes walk away. Thank you. I hope to return. xxxx

I stayed at Sarah’s place for three night. The apartment is clean and cozy which makes me feel right at home, and it’s adjacent to the town centre within only 5 minutes walk. Sarah is a very kind and responsible host, offering me enthusiastic help patiently. I’d highly recommend this place, it’s worth 100% of the pay!

This is an amazing cottage. Beautifully designed and homely and we loved visiting the cinema next door, which was a huge bonus to the stay. Angus was the perfect host, and super helpful. We will be back!

The apartment is beautifully decorated and very quiet and peaceful too with it being located perfectly in the city centre, so most places are within walking distance. It’s a lovely area to explore with many things to do! Since the booking process Warren has been so kind and helpful, from parking and restaurant recommendations to clear check-in instructions which made the self check-in process really simple! We would definitely recommend staying here, and we hope to stay again! 😊

Had an excellent stay whilst visiting friends in Poynton. Plenty of room to park, and the Annexe felt very private. It was extremely clean, really comfy, and Paul and Rosie’s communication and instructions were spot on. There weee some nice touches inside which made us feel welcome, and we really liked the layout and decoration. The location was also very easy to get to, and local bits and pieces were very walkable. - although the main road is busy, we didn’t hear any noise and slept really well. Would definitely consider staying again, as couldn’t fault it.
