Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Castine

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Camden, Maine and a lot of the best Inns were already sold out. We were also traveling with a toddler so having her share a room with us is less than ideal. Fortunately my wife suggested we check out airbnb and we found this awesome option. Compared to the inns it was very affordable and we got an awesome, comfy and huge space to ourselves with a second bedroom and it’s right next to the Main Street. If you are looking for a prime location in Camden it doesn’t get much better than this. It also came stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen to make it feel like home.

Our stay was fantastic. The place was clean and laid out nicely. It was also close enough and an easy drive to Acadia National Park. Highly recommend, and I would definitely come back and stay here again!

Very nice apartment in a perfect location for hiking in Acadia Park (~20 minutes by car). Large supermarket close to the apartment. Dani was very responsive upon our arrival and available throughout our stay. We hope to return again.

The place was clean. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a convenience store downstairs to grab some snacks!

Amazing little apartment. You can’t beat the location! We were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Belfast. Loved this little gem!

Super easy to check-in. Ruddy was very responsive and she even helped me coordinate getting some items back after i left. Highly recommend this place not only for the space and the location but the host as well!

Nancy's place was perfect for our trip to Maine! We drove to Acadia from here and it was about an hour drive. The apartment was cozy and had a great view, she had everything well stocked and even provided coffee which I appreciated since I forgot to bring some!! Highly recommend for a nice Maine getaway.

Jane's place was wonderful! It had everything we needed, was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is close to Acadia, but out of the crowds. Ellsworth is a great town with many good restaurants and shops. We hope to return to Maine soon and would love to stay here again!

Wonderful Stay! Made lasting memories with our friends! House was clean and the area was great. Check in and out was easy! Would recommend you stay if you had lots of guests! Town was beautiful lots of shopping areas! Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful time!

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

We were impressed right from the beginning because the host responded immediately to our booking. Throughout the experience, she answered all our questions right away. It was really helpful, too, how they provided a one-page handout with all the basic door code and login information. The house itself was pristine, the beds were comfortable (for middle-aged backs, which is a huge bonus for us), and there were notes on all the lights about which fixture they controlled. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a cute deck we would have used if the weather was warmer. We also definitely appreciated the laundry facilities!

Pam is an excellent host and this place is a gem. Walkable to several restaurants and cafes, but still quiet. Very homey, and we were provided homemade bagels, cream cheese, OJ and coffee. Pam made excellent recommendations on restaurants and hikes and rainy day alternatives. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

This was a lovely, clean and comfortable home. We found Tammie and Matt to be extremely helpful, welcoming and responsive. When we arrived, there was a welcome basket with treats, pancake mix, coffee and more, and we found milk, butter and eggs in the fridge. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well-stocked. Everything was nicely decorated and well-maintained, with umbrellas, shopping bags and insulated bags for our use, just to name a few things. We have family in Camden, and my family and I look forward to staying here again.

Had an amazing stay at Judith’s place! The location is perfect, super close to town and walking distance to the grocery store. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and was very responsive! If we come back to Belfast, we will definitely stay here again!

Diwas's place was great. Easy to check in and check out process was seamless. The house was spotless and accommodated everything that we needed. We were only really there to sleep as we spent most of our days at Bar Harbor or in the National Park. The recommendations that he provided were spot on! We were able to check out quite a few of his recommendations while we stayed! We were 100% stay there again!

This location is wonderful to stay at for visiting the Acadia National Park, or just a family getaway. It was a perfect autumn trip for our family. We enjoyed being able to stargaze by the fire pit.

Thoroughly enjoyed my two-week stay. Great location with quick and easy access to Belfast, Lincolnville, Camden and Rockport. On a private road for a very quiet, peaceful stay. Clean, comfortable and very well provisioned. I was even able to bake cookies for my daughter and son-in-law!

Love this Condo. Superb location in Blue Hill Village, easily walkable to everything downtown. Modern and updated making it very comfortable. Well equipped with cleaning/cooking supplies so you can "live normally". The hosts are super responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommended.

We were very happy start to finish. The location was just so unique and incredible. Right on a working marina, but very quiet. Plenty to see and do nearby. Walk across the pier and buy live lobsters. Christie was extremely helpful and quick to respond when asked. Condo was very well done with plenty of touches to make it homey. A good value! If we come back to Maine, we’ll call her first.

Jo Dee was a wonderful host . She had great information on how to access the trails at Acadia and avoid the crowds at Bar Harbor. I highly recommend this airbnb and a visit to this area will not disappoint.

We had a comfortable stay at Matsa’s in Bar Harbor. It’s walkable to all restaurants and amenities, and so close to the main attractions of Acadia National Park. The place itself was great for our group. We had two toddlers and they were also comfortable. The beds were comfy. Kitchen is well stocked, we had breakfast at the townhome all three days and we felt like after our regular grocery we had everything else to enjoy our meal— great collection of dishes and silverware, basic spices, and oil. If you enjoy coffee, get some fresh one, they have a machine to brew. The host is responsive and easy to communicate. If we come back to Bar Harbor, we’d love to stay again at Matsa’s.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.
