Excellent locale for family vacation/weekend, quiet quiet ideal to escape the madness of the city. Local with plenty to see, where you can stroll on foot and full of places with history. A thank you to Eduardo for the excellent way he conveyed the information to us and received us.

He saw for all our needs, and as it is 2 minutes from there, if he needed him , he showed this point in no time, informed us of what there was to see in the surroundings and the industrial but quiet and new accommodation, no dog barking, especially in the night , everything was perfect I highly recommend it, if not the best I had the best I had the pleasure of meeting.

The sequeiro house (T3) is inserted in Quinta do Barrieiro, which is in the middle of the São Mamede mountains in Marvão, totally isolated. It is one of the farm's seven accommodation units. Casa do Doutor is a 19th century villa Fully remodeled XIX located in the historic area of Portalegre, 50 meters from the Tapeçaria Museum, Sé Catedral, Municipal Museum, IPP. Pleasant stay for two nights in this very nice rural town with an interesting history. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had the amenities we required. Only thing I would say is that there were a few small maintenance things required that would bring it into another level. Would stay again.

Our stay was great. The apartment is very functional and accommodated us super well! The location is great with nearby grocery stores, pastries and restaurants. Lasantha was very helpful and responded to us quickly. I would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host Eduardo went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Communication was prompt, clear, and helpful, and the space was exactly as described-immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It’s clear the host truly cares about their guests’ comfort and experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb stay. Castelo de Vide was a beautiful quaint Portuguese town that had loads of history, hikes and all the amenities you might need. It was also very close to Spain for any day trips.
