Retreat in The Woods yet Close to Everything!

MeganRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We loved our stay! Ben gave clear instructions on how to find/access the property, was very responsive, and helpful. The house was spotless, comfortable, had everything you need, and the hot tub was a great perk in the cold winter. An added bonus: there is a waterfall to spot on your drive up to the house.

NC Mountain House | Mountain Views, Hot Tub & EV

KarinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

West AVL Entire Home- Hot Tub, Fenced Yard, Close

MaddiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved staying here. The dogs had almost as much fun in the back yard as on the trails! The climate was cozy and the back yard felt very private even though you have neighbors. The location was close enough to everything but also far enough from the hustle and bustle to relax. We very much enjoyed our time here and will stay again

Mid-century home with panoramic views and hot tub!

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Looking around Maggie Valley from this house, I don't think there was a better view to be had. This house is well-stocked and comfortable in every way we would have hoped for and Billy and the co-hosts gave us all the info we needed, but the star of the show is the view over the valley to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the stunning sunset. We definitely need to come back and see it in the fall. During our stay, we visited downtown Waynesville (great shops and restaurants ... Frog Level Brewery and The Red Fox were favorites), drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped at many overlooks (Waterrock Knob is a relatively short drive from the house), and we ventured over to the Cherokee and Bryson City to ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. The highlight was seeing more than a dozen elk at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center in the morning before the visitor center opened, but we even saw some in a field in Maggie Valley. But mostly we loved sitting on the deck and relaxing in this home!

Creekside Haven-Fantastic Location, Heated Pool!

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family and I had a great time. The place was awesome. First of all, it is super clean. We enjoyed the creek, playground, grilling, the pool, and were able to work at night with the WiFi provided. The location was convenient and peaceful. The house was also loaded with plenty of essentials. The coffee machine was very clean, I usually have to use my own but theirs was clean so I did use it. We would definitely book here again. The owners were responsive and very pleasant.

CarrollRating, 5 stars65 months ago
Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Bear Me the Necessities

BarbaraRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The house was very clean. We appreciated the snacks made available to us and the coffee so we didn’t have to run out to the stores to stock up right away. Heidi was very responsive to all my emails and texts. The RVs were closer to the house than expected but there were no issues to crowds. The area is very peaceful. The primary bedroom could use curtains in case of light sleepers. No issues with the other two bedrooms. There was ample space for all four of us. Conveniently located to downtown Asheville and easy to get to the house. We were very happy with the house.

Bent Creek Beauty

A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

Family Friendly Home with Hot Tub and Firepit

SaajidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great stay. My party of 7 found all the listed amenities available. The pool was closed, but they mention so on the listing. The hot tub was fine, but suffered from heating issues during the stay. We took to preheating the water by leaving it on for an hour or so before actually getting in, as otherwise it would hover a little below room temperature. There are so very many games there, nearly all of which come equipped with the necessary pieces to immediately play. They were very quick to respond as well. The trash cans were left half full from the previous guests, who had left the day before. This didnt allow us to fully empty our trash cans, but that was the only thing left noticeably unfinished. Also, although the downstairs master is beautiful, it does suffer from low wifi quality as well as jacuzzi heating issues. Finally, the internet isn't the best but is definitely doable. Only one reported outage, which happened for about an hour around 3 am one day so not too bad. 5/5

A Great Riverbend Escape

Always a 5-star place to stay. We have family in Franklin and always want this house and are very disappointed if it is already taken. Quiet, peaceful location. Easy to get to. It's always neat and clean, decorated so beautifully. Plenty of amenities. We've stayed in other houses (when we couldn't get this one) and the host only provided 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry pod, 1 trash bag, etc. - certainly not enough for a weekend. Cherisse is always available and helpful. A perfect host.

Amazing Lakefront home with private NEW dock

TaylorRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

West Asheville - Canie Creek Getaway

JameyaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Nice place. Clean, cozy, quiet, and felt safe. A great spot and home layout for a solo traveler or a couple. And it had pretty much everything I needed, including various kitchenware for cooking and eating. I didn't even miss there not being an oven!! Or a full stove -- the dual burners sufficed pretty well. The owners also were very responsive to any raised questions and concerns, including one time towards the end when I had some trouble getting in with the key lock. They very quickly jumped into action and resolved that issue very helpfully! I'd say the main drawback of this property is that there are very few windows -- only on the door when you first come in and another in the bedroom. That's it. But even then, despite being someone who adores natural light, that surprisingly didn't stand out or bother me much while there. The home still felt great and comfortable in spite of it. Just a great spot and stay overall. Would stay there again and recommend.
