Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Casentino

My friends and I celebrated New Year's Eve in this farmhouse surrounded by Tuscan nature. The house and garden are beautiful! The hosts were impeccable and responsive to our every request. I would recommend it for a quiet stay with friends. We found some bugs but the hosts were very kind and made us have an insecticide spray.

Eleonora's little house is a property surrounded by nature away from any external "disturbance". If you're looking for a place with these features to completely disconnect from the world, this is the right choice. You'll be in the middle of the Casentino forest park with several viewpoints nearby. The little house has all the essentials and what you can expect from a mountain house. Attention because there is no mobile network coverage in the house, with some operators you have to get away a few meters outside the walls, but in my opinion this is an advantage :) Eleonora and her husband couple TOP

Eugenio was a great host. His place is super authentic, located in the most charming medieval village with spectacular views. Everything in the house was to our satisfaction. Eugenio was super responsive and helpful with accomodating some extra requests that we had. We were travelling for work, filming a wedding at nearby castel. Location was great for us. The public parking is only about 100 meters from the house. We were teally happy with everything. Thank you Eugenio. P.S. There is an amazing restaurant with spectacular views right in the village. They only do lunches. But wow, It was such a great find. Everyrhing in that restaurant was made from their own produce, wine from their vineyard in the valley, olive oil from their trees, all vegetables from their garden. Different set menue every day. Really recommend it. It was delicious.

The space was very clean and tidy situated up in the hills near Caprese Michelangelo. The location is quiet with the nearest village about 15 minutes away which can be reached via a rather winding road. Access to shops is okay with a smaller supermarket about 15/20 mins away and then some larger ones about 40 minutes away. This location is ideal if you are looking to sit and relax whilst enjoying the scenic views. Michela and her parents were lovely and welcoming hosts.

We used two apartments because we were a group. Clean, quiet, with fenced garden and very close to the Arezzo Equestrian Center. We had a good time and plan to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool. Luca is a very friendly and fair owner.

Claudia was wonderful, welcoming us and helpful during our stay. Very helpful and friendly made us feel at home, as a family. The places are beautiful, both from a landscape/naturalistic point of view (the Casentino National Park is an enchanting place) and historical cultural (Arezzo is about 40 minutes by car and several villages nearby, in addition to the Hermitage and the monastery of Camaldoli). If we have a chance to return to the area, we will choose Claudia's house again.

I traveled with my three adult daughters to this incredibly beautiful and peaceful villa situated in the Tuscan countryside. It is an ideal location to use as a base when exploring to surrounding area. Filippo and Maria Teresa were welcoming hosts and treated us like family . We hope to return in the future.

The house is wonderful, an old stone house, lovingly and comfortably furnished. Despite the cold weather, it was cuddly warm. The surroundings are beautiful, we were able to hike directly from the house into the Tuscan countryside with stunning views.

Great apartment in San Gimignano and Clara is a wonderful host. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the location is great. Clara was very accommodating with our schedule and helpful with the parking.

We had an amazing stay at Francesco’s place. It was within walking distance to everything. About a 10 minute walk from the train station. It was just as described and Francesco and his team went over and above to allow us to check in early and store our luggage when we had to check out. They were so friendly and easy to work with. This Airbnb has an elevator and it has about 1 and a half flight of stairs up to the location. Once again, we highly recommend this Airbnb for the walk ability of its location as well as the kindness of the hosts. Thank you so much!

Lapo’s apartment is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The terrace and the view are fantastic. The bed is firm which is perfect for us or anyone with back problems. We like to walk and we didn’t have a car and really enjoyed walking down to the town square and cafes and restaurants in 15 minutes - going back up the hill about 20 minutes. If you are not fit you may need a car but also taxis and Uber are available. We recommend walking and hiking around Fiesole with beautiful views to see everywhere.

Luca was a great host! Easy check in and they provided everything we needed!The apartment was clean and beautiful! The location is great! In the heart of Florence! Wonderful stay! I highly recommend! I would most definitely stay there again!

The view was incredible!! just like the pictures. The apartment was immaculate with everything you could possibly need. This was part of our honeymoon tour of Italy and we will never forget it! I highly recommend this place for everyone. The only thing I could add is to have earplugs as it is directly in the heart of Florence.

Amazing stay in Florence. Apartment was exactly as described, very big, lots of room. Fully equipped kitchen with all the tools needed as well as coffee, tea, sugar, spices, etc. Great instructions for everything in the apartment. Extremely responsive host. Walkable to all sights in Florence. We would definitely stay here again!

Our wedding at Villa Cini was truly magical. The venue’s blend of natural beauty and elegance provided the perfect backdrop for our stay during the week and our special day. The gardens and stunning views created a fairy tale atmosphere and allowed to us have both an Indian wedding and an Italian Civil one. The arches ballroom, offered a romantic and inviting ambiance. We are incredibly grateful to have a chosen a place which has passed down for generations and has such a heartfelt attention to detail. Our stay at the villa felt like living in a postcard- breathtaking surroundings! The historic villa was charming and comfortable for our group of 5. The area is idyllic and the onsite winery is a fantastic plus. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor areas. Great laundry facilities as well . Vicky was very helpful and gave us great advice on local sites. We would definitely return !

We had an amazing time staying at La Fonticina. Such a beautiful house and location, which came with everything that we needed. Cesare was a fantastic host and made our stay even better. He couldn't have been more responsive, accomodating and friendly. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return!

Our stay at Villa Chiara was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the hills it offered a picturesque view of the Tuscan countryside. The villa itself was spacious and well maintained. It felt like home away from home. The pool and back patio are surrounded by lovely flowers, herbs and olive trees. Offering a spectacular view of the evening sunsets. The location was perfect to take short day trips to Siena, Florence and Montepulciano. Highly recommend for a serene, peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Villa Bellavista is a true gem in the heart of Chianti Classico. Its location, overlooking the beautiful "Conca d'oro" valley, offers stunning views and unforgettable sunsets. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, the villa provides complete privacy and peace. The spacious interior, with a large kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully equipped bathroom, ensures a relaxing stay. The host was very helpful and always available. He provided a secure space to store our bikes, which was very convenient. The outdoor area, with a pool and relaxation space, is perfect for enjoying the Tuscan sun. The property is well-secured, making it ideal for guests with pets. The walk to Panzano in Chianti takes just a few minutes. Overall, this place is a perfect getaway with breathtaking scenery and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We spent a glorious and relaxing week at Sarchianello and could not recommend it more. The location was perfect for day trips to local places like Siena and Montalcino, and it was the ideal place to return to for an evening of eating and drinking. We loved our stay and were sorry to leave! It truly felt like a home away from home.

Lovely place in the middle of Tuscany. It’s a beautiful home. It’s about 30-60 minutes to get to all the major places in Tuscany. He made us a great dinner upon checking in as well!
