Very Nice place to stay!!! Very clean and friendly host!

Very well located on the Chianti Wine Route and its many prestigious estates and very beautiful villages. Halfway between the cities of Florence and Siena, are easily accessible between 30 and 45 minutes. Greve in Chianti, cute little town. Francesca is a very thoughtful host, who gives you a lot of information about the area, with distribution of a geographical map. Attention access to the house: the last 3 kilometers are on a very well maintained flat track, the last 50 meters are very very steep. During our stay my wife had a small health problem, Francesca was able to direct us to the medical center of Greve in Chianti, open 24/7, then be redirected to a hospital in Florence 30 minutes away. You love nature, silence and simplicity, this place is for you. I would recommend it.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Barbara's place is really nice and very well organized. It has the charm of the first airbnb houses, where you really find pieces of family history that live there (photos, objects), instead of the aseptic homes that are now. The kitchen is really super and the barbecue helps organize beautiful embers! The outdoor space is quiet and well organized, with a large dining table. All around is the countryside and you can see Monteriggioni from afar (which can still be reached in 5 minutes). Beautiful living room

Antonio is responsive and friendly. The house was very cute, clean and quiet. I don't know if it is common to pay for gas (heating and hot water) in addition to the Airbnb rental in Italy but this is an element to be taken into account especially if you are traveling in winter. If you need a utensil or something, Antonio and his family live across the street and can help you out if you need it. The surrounding area is very beautiful: in the middle of the Tuscan countryside.

A truly stunning place with incredibly welcoming hosts. The villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The interior is filled with beautiful historic furniture, details, paintings, and books. The cozy fireplace in the living room added a special charm. We loved making pizza in our very own wood-fired oven, using the outdoor BBQ, and dining al fresco surrounded by breathtaking views. Every moment at Poggio del Fattore felt special, offering the perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Tuscan countryside in style!

This was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful and private with beautiful views. Lots of wonderful villages to visit and explore within a 30 minute drive. Norma made some great reservations for our anniversary dinner as well as a couple of great wine tours. She also gave us recommendations of which villages were best to visit and what to do there. We highly recommend doing the cooking lessons with her family. They are such a nice family and were very eager to show us how to cook a traditional Tuscan meal. Grandma really is an amazing cook. They even sat with us as a family to share what we had cooked. We have been to many AirBnB’s and Norma has been our best host by far. We would go back the next time we visit Tuscany. Dave and Liz

We had a wonderful stay at Antico Casale and Stefania is a lovely host who is always attentive and friendly. The apartment has two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and one kitchen/dining room. It is possible to use an outside area right outside the apartment for breakfast or other meals. The pool is quite big, provides beach lounges and a seating area (with BBQ). The view is picturesque and the area itself quiet. It takes about 8 minutes by car to go to Umbertide. It was a perfect summer vacation and we’d love to come back soon.

Giovanni's property exceeded our expectations in every way! From the warm welcome with a delicious charcuterie board and homemade wine to the exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. Giovanni was an outstanding host, providing invaluable suggestions and insider tips for exploring the area. Highly recommend Giovanni's property for its stunning beauty, warm hospitality, and unique experiences. We wished we had booked more nights to fully enjoy the property's amenities, including the olive pressing experience, which unfortunately we ran out of time.

Beautiful serene home, exactly as you’d imagine a Tuscan villa set in the hills to be with a stunning view. The wines from the vineyard were also fantastic (definitely pick up a few bottles whilst there). We arrived without a car and there was plenty to do in walking distance (30 minutes on back roads through the vineyards to Greve). Other walks were also great. A car would have been handy though. Food in Greve was very good, and the hosts recommendations are well worth it. We drank the water and was fine, so I’d say you can ignore the posts before if you are generally willing to drink tap water on holiday. Friendly, welcoming, stunning location. I would love to go back.

My family had a great time in Nada' s house. She was really kind with us and made us fell confortable. Definitely, I would return to her house in my next trip to Toscany.

A stunning location hosted by the nicest people! Very communicative and gave perfect instructions to get there. Inside the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The bed is on the harder side if that suits your preference but plenty of blankets and didn’t even need to touch the heat for a cooler nights. If you are offered a dinner and wine pairing, just say yes immediately. We didn’t know where to set our expectations for that night but it certainly exceeded anything we had in our heads. Overall absolutely fantastic place Sara and Simone have and after you sit outside at sunset you will not want to leave!

Wow. My mom and I had the most amazing stay. Staying here was like a dream and Judyta went above and beyond to make us feel at home as well as cook dinner and breakfast for us and wine and oil tasting. The place is so beautiful and peaceful and it was the best vibes for an amazing price. Definitely recommend 10/10.

Very nice apartment in an incredible location. Extremely private and very beautiful setting, but with easy access to access to town / the sights of Tuscany. Ivan was very accommodating and responsive; he went out of his way to support us when we had a little trouble with our rental car. We would love to return someday and would book with Ivan in a minute.

Magical stay at Paola's. Difficult to describe in a few words all the kindness she showed with us, we immediately felt at home. Paola picked us up by car from the station and greeted us with a nice bottle of wine and pizza - delicious -, difficult to have a better arrival especially after a long trip. She was very proactive throughout our stay and even took us half a day into the Chianti so we could visit a vineyard because we didn't have a car - we still can't go back from her generosity! She takes care of all her guests and her property is beautiful, we enjoyed the pool and the apartment is wonderfully well decorated and equipped. We would highly recommend staying with Paola, the best airbnb host we've had. Thanks again for everything Paola, you were wonderful, and we are already dreaming of coming back! Arrivederci!:)

Cristina's house near Siena is an excellent base for exploring Tuscany. Just 20 minutes from Siena, it's perfect for day trips to Florence, San Gimignano, or Chianti. A car is essential but ensures a peaceful, authentic experience. The clean, well-equipped house has a kitchenette (fridge, stove, washing machine) and AC. The bathroom is small but functional. Outside, there's a surprisingly deep pool and various spots for relaxing or dining. We were surprised by the poor connectivity - almost no phone reception inside and extremely slow internet with weak Wi-Fi. Cristina mentioned it's not for working, but we underestimated the limitation. The surroundings were mostly quiet. Cristina, though not on-site, was very responsive and helpful. Tips: The parking is 50-100m away; ask about unloading at the house. Bring extra toiletries for longer stays. Request the correct Wi-Fi password before arrival. Overall, an excellent choice for exploring Tuscany. We'd happily stay here again.

This Airbnb is absolutely stunning and encapsulates everything one could imagine about the Italian countryside. The property is one of a kind and in the Tuscan hills, super spacious and cozy, with great common areas. Highly recommend staying here.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! It was so quiet with beautiful views of Tuscany. The wine tour was so interesting followed by several tastings and a delicious lunch! A must!! Would certainly stay again and recommend to friends as well.
