Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cascais e Estoril

We had a wonderful time at Jorge’s place. The house is wonderful, has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice! It’s huge and beautiful and very comfortable. We travelled with our 2 young children (2 &4) and it was perfect. The outside space is also lovely, nice pool and outside seating with sun or shade. The area was lovely, supermarkets etc nearby. Also went to an amazing beach and restaurant on Jorge’s recommendation. Communication throughout was easy and helpful. They even stocked the fridge for us with dinner on our first night. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you! We’ll be back.

Excellent stay in the heart of Lisbon. Ariane welcomed us in an extremely kind and considerate way to her apartment, despite a later arrival than expected. Everything is done to feel right at home, it lacks neither space nor comfort or equipment. The very central area is ideal for visiting Lisbon, and quiet at night even though it may seem a little less secure than other areas of Lisbon. just note that the stairs are a little steep but as I think all over the old center of Lisbon. Thanks again to Ariane for the wonderful stay.

Miguel’s apartment was great! There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed the spaciousness of the accommodations. The location was superb…close to the river, shops, attractions and restaurants. The apartment was fully equipped and very clean. We had a wonderful time in Lisbon and visiting the surrounding attractions. Definitely a 5 star accommodation and highly recommended. We've traveled around the world and this is one of those Airbnbs you'll never forget. We fell in love with Sintra 9 years ago and this was our first time back, since. We were so thankful we found this place. Great host, incredible location, and views!

Amazing stay! Awesome, communicative and KIND hosts. They left some goodies for us and they were delicious (thanks again). I took the best bath of my life here and I will return just for that haha. The area is amazing. Right across from a Shakar - who have the best breakfast tacos, and a few meters up is bom dia café and around the corner is a more traditional Portuguese cafe (the best). Jorge met us and showed us everything. Ana was always so easy to chat with. They have a garage nearby to pay or you can park with them for free - LITERALLY SO AWESOME! Definitely will come back! The place Sergio owns is a gem in the city of Setúbal. It looks even bigger in person and has everything you need for a great stay. The only thing is that if you plan on going to Lisbon's city center, you will either need to rent a car (which is a 45-minute ride), take the bus (which takes 1 hour and 30 minutes), or take an Uber, Bolt, or cab, so definitely plan that ahead. Other than that, Sergio is an amazing host with lots of recommendations; he is very responsive and available anytime, even when busy, which we appreciated a lot. Sergio's place truly exceeded our expectations, and the experience he provided was by far my most pleasant using Airbnb.

The apartment is very nice, spacious and very clean. The neighborhood is very nice and anything you need (Restaurants, Pastries, coffee shop and Market, Metro) is at a walkable distance. Alexandra is a great hostess, she was there to greet me and give me all the information on the neighborhood, the apartment and the rules.

Great 5 night stay. The venue matched the photos, Sandra was a great host and the venue was comfortable and clean. Lovely swimming pool and the area was safe and quiet for lovely quiet time in the sun.

Mafalda's home is just past the edge of the Alfama, but it's perfect because of that. You get a little more space, it's quieter, and you're only a few minutes from the Alfama. It's also right next to the train station - inside of which is a good grocery store where you can get whatever you need. Mafalda's kitchen comes with any amenity you might need; we cooked several meals there. The apartment is bathed in early morning and late afternoon light. Very well cross-ventilated. The terrace is perfect for a late afternoon meal in November or morning coffee in the summer. The furnishings are comfortable and solid. Nothing provisional - everything has good design aesthetic and construction. For two, it's great. I'm an early riser, so I appreciated the separate bedroom where my wife could sleep in, in the morning. There are stairs, but it didn't bother us - that's just Lisbon. Mafalda is an incredibly gracious, attentive host. Answered every question we had. A fabulous place to stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nuno’s. We found the flat to be clean and well-equipped and the location to be really convenient. Nuno communicated with us frequently, both before our arrival and while we were there. We were a little disappointed that we were not able to enter the flat for almost 2 hours after we arrived and sat on our suitcases out on the street waiting for Nuno. He did let us know that something had come up at the last minute but we couldn’t change our flights and had no option but to wait. We were disappointed that he was not able to arrange for someone else to let us in. Apart from that the stay at Nuno’s was lovely and we would certainly recommend this AirBnB to anyone travelling to Lisbon.

Good location 10 minutes walk to everything at Cascais including the train station for going to Lisbon so after we arrived did not need to use our car .. Two Good size TV's one in the sitting and one in the main bedroom .. Excellent fibra optic speed internet .. Overall a very well equipped apartment with everything you need ..

Very well located accommodation, in the center of Lisbon where a lot of things can be reached on foot. The host was super responsive, very welcoming and super nice I really recommend this place for friends or couple 😊

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Our stay at Maria's was absolutely amazing! During the days we spent there, we truly felt at home. Maria is an outstanding host, she's very easy to reach and always ready to help with anything we needed. From the moment we arrived, she made sure we were comfortable and provided thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. The property itself is spotless, beautifully and well maintained. The location was perfect for exploring the area, yet peaceful enough for relaxation. We would definitely love to stay at Maria's place again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful Airbnb experience!

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

Paula and Anselmo were very sympathetic and hospitable hosts, and we highly recommend their home! Communication was fast and smooth. We received a warm welcome and they told us about the surroundings with shops and restaurants. The area is quiet and we slept well, which was very important as we travelled for a triathlon race in Cascais. Thank you for a thoroughly nice stay Paula and Anselmo!

It is a beautiful house, with a beautiful swimming pool. You have all the space and everything is there. Maria is also a very nice hostess. The house is on a busy road and it is useful to have a car. We enjoyed it!

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We spent a week at 4 at Gonçalo's and everything was perfect. The house and the outside are huge, well equipped and maintained, much prettier than in the photo! The house was very clean and the bedding spotless. Gonçalo came to clean the pool very regularly. A very responsive and friendly host. An absolutely unbeatable value for money. Thank you so much
