Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Carterville

Gave all 5’s because it’s a great place to rent and sleep for someone taking the train or needing something less…concerning…than other nearby rentals. Window unit AC’s so be aware of that if such a thing affects your sleep (not a problem, just a personal flaw of MINE). Location isn’t next door to anything cool, but it’s Carbondale so that’s a good thing. It’s quiet and people aren’t drunkenly stumbling past your door.

It was a nice place to stay and they was friendly and helped you out any way they could.

We loved the space and location. The apartment is on the second floor and our dog had a bit of trouble navigating the stairs which are super sturdy and safe, however they are metal without solid treads. Everything else was great!

This was our second stay at the Magnolia Inn, and as with our first stay, it was absolutely wonderful! It was large enough for us to host a Christmas Day brunch for our local relatives and Christmas Day supper for my mother-in-law. And having a 9"x13" dish for the breakfast souffle made my cooking responsibilities so much easier. Plus, the two short steps into the home helped with getting my MIL's wheelchair inside. As always, our stay was comfortable, convenient (a Kroger's is just up the street and a gas station is nearby), and cozy. Jennifer and Patrick were responsive to questions before and during our visit. Depending on availability, this will be our go-to place to stay any time we visit my husband's family!

The home was very clean and cozy! All the local restaraunt recommendations were in a binder upon our arrival and the ones we ordered from were delicious. The heater worked very well and the living room even had charming Christmas lights on the mantle for extra charm.

We had a great weekend stay at Jared's. It's a perfect location & driving distance to SIU. It was the perfect size for our family. Jared was very responsive & we'd definitely stay again.

This is an excellent getaway for anyone wanting to enjoy the beauty of Southern Illinois. The price point is great, its much better than a hotel. The washer and dryer is awesome, the kitchen is excellent and would allow someone who can cook to do about anything they want to do. The bedrooms looked great and the living space furniture was fine. I honestly never watched the tv, but it looked like a really nice big screen. Its in a rural spot with very little traffic and quiet, but your minutes away from Carbondale, a little farther down the road is Marion, both places have excellent dining and more city atmosphere. Crab Orchard NWR is almost the back yard.

The Hickory House is absolutely amazing! From the open, spacious feel, cute decor, comfy beds, kitchen accommodations, and cleanliness— We felt at home the minute we stepped inside the door. It was just perfect for our family of six. We felt blessed and loved and would highly recommend this house for anyone considering it.

Once again we stayed with Jordan for our hunt in Illinois. And it was perfect again. We loved the new camp grill setup this year. We are already Planning for next year.

Great communication, great stay will definitely stay here again.

Honestly one of the best places ive stayed at. She was always attentive and always reached out if we needed anything. Real comfy home and it had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely delightful place in Carbondale. We felt very much at home. Michael's plase is not only really pretty and tasteful, there are also games, books, and music to enjoy. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need if you want to stay in and cook your own dinner. Michael was also super responsive. Highly recommended!
