Sally was a great host, very responsive, attentive, and really on top of providing suggestions when our turn of events went a little off plan because we were driving through a storm and had to pivot. She was very knowledgeable of the area and provided great resources for us. Overall, the Little Dipper was situated in a great area, close to everything you needed in Kings Beach or by Incline Village. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and the indoor fireplace. Both cozy and relaxing reading spots!

Beautiful, private cabin. Everything is exactly as described and what you’d expect from the photos. The highway is close, but I actually loved that we were so close and I never heard the highway from the house. On the patio is river disguises any noise that might come from the highway. Don’t hesitate to book!

Wonderful location and the best view! Cabin was very cozy and the decks + hot tub views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals. Host was very proactive about home updates and responded quickly to questions!

This home was in the perfect location, 10 minutes to Heavenly and the Stateline. The neighborhood was picturesque and very private. And the cabin was exactly like the pictures. Dan and Ada were perfect hosts!

The location is beautiful. Especially if you’re a skier there is a resort right down the street. Plenty of snow to play in outside. Tons of room with the spacious four bedrooms. Nice having washer dryer and a full kitchen available. The hot tub and suana is an added bonus.

Nice house with a great room and 2 bedrooms, just the right size for a family. It was ideal for a skiing trip to Northstar for me and my 2 children. The hot tub was nice and clean and felt great after a day of skiing. There is a nice gas fireplace that was both cheery and warmed up the room and helped dry out our snow pants. The location is great for getting to both Northstar and downtown Kings Beach - note that you do have to get over a pass to get to Northstar, so in the winter bring your chains or AWD car in case of weather. It feels professionally run - the hosts were proactive about communication and quickly responsive. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

This was a great cabin in a great location.

House was comfortable for two families and had everything we needed. The kids liked the downstairs games. The location was convenient for groceries, restaurants and skiing. We would stay here again.

We were 7 family members who gathered for a family reunion and the house fit our needs beautifully. There was plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals and the kitchen table was large enough for us all to eat together. The beds were comfortable and the house was located in a beautiful area. Super happy with our experience.

Jon’s place is great! Super responsive and there were no issues with check in. Home was great and bedding was very comfortable. Only thing is we couldn’t figure out how to override the Nest thermostat so at 4am each morning the temperature would automatically set to 50 degrees. (Probably my fault and not the hosts)

The location could not be better if you’re sledding/skiing at Granlibakken and generally convenient for the area. One important thing to note (not Justin’s fault, but maybe good to know!) is the resort is not super well lit at night or well-marked and we had a little bit of trouble finding it (we didn’t mean to but ended up arriving after dark). The condo is comfortable and everything worked, but it did feel a little like a work in progress (drapes missing from one window, little stuff like that). The beds are very comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh. The kitchen had everything most would need, internet worked well, and while the central heating was a little funny (3 thermostats??), it was easy to keep the place cozy. Overall, we would be happy to stay there again!

This was our 2nd time staying here and will definitely be back! Awesome spot for a chill Northstar stay, the kitchen is very well stocked for an Airbnb and we’ve loved cooking big dinners there. They also added a legit massage chair that was amazing, and the hot tub is big enough for 6 adults to comfortably sit. Kevin & Jennifer are super responsive and helpful with anything we need and clearly take a lot of care in making sure their guests are comfortable.

If you're looking for a great winter cabin, this place in Truckee is the best! Wade was a really welcoming host from the start. The hot tub was incredible and it was the best way to relax after playing in the snow in the backyard. The rain shower felt great after a cold day outside. It was really refreshing. The heated floor in the bathroom was also amazing. It was so nice to have warm feet after walking in the snow. We had a fantastic time at Wade’s cabin. It was the perfect spot for our winter fun. We left feeling refreshed and can't wait to go back. Thanks, Wade, for a wonderful stay!

A cozy cabin with a spectacular view. It was a joy to wander out of bed to watch the sun rise over the lake, and soul healing to walk the lake shore while gazing at the play of pink and orange in the sky, reflecting in the water as the sun set and slip back into the cabin only steps away. We were there in a quiet pocket of time slipped in-between holidays when the lake was not crowded with tourists. I don't know how well the cabin would insulate from hustle and bustle when the lake is more crowded, but for us, for when we went, it was absolutely lovely.

Practical and charming cabin if your goals are to sleep, ski, and enjoy north Lake Tahoe. Perfect setup for a 4-person family with a dog. Worth it for the DVD collection alone! It's such a cool property -- not your usual paint-by-numbers, no-personality place targeted at Bay Area folks (like what you find in Tahoe Donner.) The neighborhood is 100% year-round locals. Great vibe, great house, great owners.

Vicky's place is a great place to stay and in a great location only 5 mins from the main strip in SLT. Love that it's a dog friendly place and it's super clean. They have a nice big back yard to bbq, hang out with friend and your fur babies. Would most definitely recommend this place anytime of the year!!!

This house was perfect for our family to celebrate Christmas together! Well laid out home, hot tub was great, had all the amenities we needed! Sarah was a great host, communication was excellent! The location was was near everything we wanted to do~skiing, movies, walks around the lake! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Chelsea's home is as advertised. My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect setting for a quiet birthday celebration for my dad. We all were able to enjoy the lake and the peaceful scenery. The bedrooms were a nice size and the restrooms were clean. The mattress in the main room was a bit too firm for me. I decided to sleep upstairs on one of the softer beds. There are grocery stores 10 minutes out so we utilized the kitchen for most of our meals. The kitchen had everything I needed. The house manual was easy to follow and included some information on pet-friendly beaches which we appreciated since we had our pup with us. I LOVED the private beach access and dock. We had our paddle board and kayak and spent a lot of time in the water. My daughter enjoyed jumping off the dock and making friends with some of the other kids there (not a lot of kids...just the right amount to keep her entertained but not overwhelm me). I hope to make this trip an annual event!

Old-style, charming cabin with many updates, including kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds, practical kitchen, close to a shop and some restaurants. Tall pines all around, lots of space to build snowmen and various benches for summertime. Close to the lake. Ample private parking space, which does get plowed diligently after snowfall. But the center of it all is a great fireplace, that also serves as a very efficient heater. Highly recommended!

We did a last minute trip to Tahoe to snowboard on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The place was perfect and super cozy!

Worth it if you have a dog. Kind of hard to find the entrance at night.
