Enjoy the lovely setting of this relaxing, romantic tiny home in a rustic nature setting! This home is also used as our bridal cabin for our wedding packages. Its gold chandeliers and pink sofa make it "bougie", yet the rustic surroundings on our 143 acres brings in a "boondock" feel! For max space, it is set up as a studio with a queen Murphy bed. There’s a loft area we call "The Fort”, with floor mats for the kiddos, and a single futon sofa downstairs which can accommodate 1 smaller person.

Traditional lake home, easy water access, family!

Big Cabin on Beaver Lake, Arkansas is in the beautiful Hogscald Cove. The cabin is one of the original homesteads of Hogscald. Renovated, but the charm of the historic home has been preserved. Offered as a family vacation home. We do not allow events. There are Kayaks and Paddle Boards included with the rental. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of outdoor patio space, propane grill and firepit. There is a trail directly to the water. Two private bedrooms, a loft, a bunkroom, three bathrooms.

We had a peaceful stay here, it rained incredibly hard the first two days so our outdoor plans were washed away, however just being able to listen to the rain falling on the cabin with no other distractions was a fantastic respite from the world. Plan on making another trip back in the future in hopes of better weather to do more of the outdoor festivities!

The drive to the property itself was beautiful! The road is rough, but once you do it once, it’s no big deal. Pictures don’t do this property justice. The screened in dining area and fire pit were everything. My husband and I were able to set up our hammocks on the trees beside the house and laid out there for hours. The bed and pillows were so comfy! Also—probably the most well stocked air bnb we’ve ever stayed in! We got a special visit from their SWEET dog after grilling some burgers the first night. Totally wish he would have hung out longer. He made my whole day!

I’m tempted to say, “Terrible place, please don’t go.” and leave this gem for the rest of us. But that would be a lie. We had an amazing time and can’t recommend this place enough. Beautiful home that has been thoughtfully designed. Plenty of land with room to roam, private and quiet, direct access to the river. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us and would definitely repeat.

My husband, myself, and our little girl came for a little vacay to get away from life and spend remote time with each other. This place was absolutely beautiful & gorgeous. We loved how excluded this property was and really just everything about it! The drive had our little girl giggling because of how rocky it was back and forth to the house. Overall would 100% recommend!

While staying with Katharine Kelly, my car began having problems and needed to be towed to the nearest town. Unfortunately, I was notified that ride share services weren’t a thing in the area. Thankfully, Katharine Kelly and her husband were such a great help during this stressful time for us. This was my second time staying with her, and it was just as great as the first. We loved the pastries, Keurig, and the amenities provided. It really doesn’t get much better than her place!

We needed an opportunity to reconnect as a couple and to relax as life has thrown us some major challenges and we’ve been focused on just making it day to day. This was the place to do! Everything was exactly as described. The location was perfect for rest and relaxation!! The ease of access to the water allowed us to spend lots of time floating and chatting in the water soaking up some sun while staying cool. The kayak was a nice touch and we enjoyed taking it out for sunset runs along around the inlet and beyond. The charcuterie board, pasties, eggs and butter, and coffee bar made for the perfect breakfast treats and were such a nice token of hospitality! Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions and yet allowed us privacy throughout! Their recommendation to bring groceries or stop before the drive in allowed us to bring stock for the fridge and freezer and furthered our ability to just spend quiet time as a couple. We loved everything about our stay and hope to come back!
