Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Carrabassett Valley

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Perfect set up and location for us. The apartment is in a refurbished factory-I love to see the building being used and not having been torn down. This building has been a huge part of the town. No complaints! Would stay her again!

I had a wonderful staycation at this Airbnb! I live locally, so I was looking for a cozy getaway close to home, and this place was perfect. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to the beautiful Wilson Lake and Bass Park, plus plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment was very comfortable and functional. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I was able to cook all my meals there, except for a delicious takeout dinner from a local Italian spot. The space had a beautiful lofted area, and while the decor was minimal and the furniture a bit worn, it actually added to the calm, relaxed atmosphere. I appreciated not having to worry about clutter or being cautious with brand-new furniture — it made the whole experience feel more laid-back and comfortable. If you’re after a peaceful, no-fuss getaway, this place is perfect!

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating a birthdays and skiing. Great location that is central for all activities day and night. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend of skiing at Sugarloaf!

We really appreciated Debi’s luxury apartment. Available when we needed it and extremely comfortable. Really enjoyed the restaurant that Debi recommended- we will be back! Thanks Debi

One of the nicest places I've visted. Seems like recently renovated large condo with everything one would need available and in great condition. Really a sweet retreat!

Yasmin’s place was very comfortable and convenient for our family of 4. The proximity to the snubber lift allowed easy access to the mountain. We opted to ski down to the bottom of the lift, but one could also walk up 100 yards or so to the mid lift station. Yasmin was super responsive and a lovely host! Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed in several condos in this location and this is definitely one of our favorites. Plenty of room for the six of us. Short walk to snubber. Douglas’s place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Cheryl’s place was clean and very convenient for ski in/ out at Sugarloaf. She was extremely responsive whenever we had any questions. I’d absolutely stay there again.

The location and communication with the host was excellent!! Very responsive. Everything worked out well with no issues. It was really great being able to ski in and out!!

Great locale, 1 minute walk to the snubber lift, 5 minute walk to whiffletree. If skiing or riding is your priority, this is a great spot. You can be on the upper mountain within 10-15 minutes of rolling out of bed. If the snow is in, you can ride to the back door. Highly recommend for a couple people looking get in a ton of riding. Sugarloaf is one of our favorite mountains and this is a great, central location to all the resort has to offer.

This airbnb was absolutely beautiful! My college friends and I always stay at sugarloaf every year for a ski trip and this was the best trip so far. We had ample room for all 8 of us and Samantha was very accommodating for our group. We were all able to exist comfortably and not be on top of each other. The ski in / ski out aspect along with the rec center being next door was ideal. Will be staying in the same place next year for sure!

Its right on the shuttle route and right above the mid station to get on lift so very easy ski in and out. The place was nice, its a studio, but felt roomier especially being able to use the ski locker so the skis and poles were out of the room. The showers hot water and water pressure was more was spectacular.

Nicole’s home is a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful retreat. The home itself was clean, extremely comfortable, and a perfect place to relax with the family. Our toddler named it “the pretty house” and we couldn’t agree more! Nicole was an awesome host - responsive and helpful when we requested to open the hot tub early. The area around the house is private and quiet, perfect for people seeking solitude. We will definitely be going back if the opportunity come again!

Had an amazing weekend with friends at Michael’s place. House was cozy and it felt like a home away from home. Kitchen had everything we needed plus more. Easy commute to Sunday River! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and/or stay here again myself!

Great stay - the team at the Inn was wonderful, even accommodating a change in our plans due to some weather, and the townhouse we stayed in was perfect. Super convenient to all the dining in downtown Bethel (and don’t sleep on the restaurant at the Inn!) and to Sunday River for a ski getaway.

This house was perfect for our group of 10. Plenty of sleeping room and 3 different bathrooms to choose from that all have showers/bath. Very close to sunday river and other mountains I suggest you bring back up trash bags / dish soap if you have a larger party and plan on cooking. There was plenty of laundry detergent though which was helpful . Would book again!

Michael’s place was perfect for our family vacation! It was exactly as described. The walkability into town was perfect. Michael was very quick to respond with any questions we had. We had the best time and would definitely recommend!

Our stay was great. Very convenient location.
