Vacation rentals with lake access in Carolina

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Noemi’s place. Communication was clear and kind from the moment I booked our stay. Yes, Noemi does stay next door while visitors occupy her home, however she did not bother us AT ALL. We only saw her 3 times during our 5 day stay, when we arrived, when we were leaving, and once to move our car over for her husband. Her home was peaceful, comfortable, and clean, inside and out. The backyard view was our favorite. Way better than the pictures! The wildlife was a beautiful sight to see. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending this place to our friends and family. I can’t forget, Noemi was even kind enough to make a happy birthday banner for my boyfriend before we arrived. She also was great at recommending local spots to eat, shop, or just have fun. Very thoughtful. Can’t wait to return!

Such a beautiful house and a great host. The house is close to the airport so is true that you can clearly hear the planes taking off, but it did not bothered me much. But something to consider if you think you will not tolerate the noise. If you have a lot of plans in Puerto Rico, keep in mind that it is such and beautiful place that you might want to stay a day or two all day at the house.

Ana's place was nice, private and comfortable. Her response time was great! She even went out of her way to get somethings I asked to have in the home and she went the extra mile for me (which she didn't have to do). Having the pool was great, the area surrounding the home was quiet, traveling to places and back to airport was a breeze and not far. Though you are close to the airport, what planes you do hear are not disturbing and brings an extra tone of vacation while relaxing by the pool side. Thank you Ana, look forward to booking again.

Felt right at home, driving distance from everything we wanted to do, our host were great and super accommodating.

We stayed four weeks and couldn’t have picked a better house. Comfortable and spacious, had everything we needed, even bug spray and sunblock. We loved the area, it’s a middle class working neighborhood with tons of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Everyone was friendly and we felt very safe. The host was very attentive and responsive, told us about the wonderful regional festival going on right by the house. We visited some of the more well known beaches like Escambron, but the beaches right by the house were amazing and super convenient too (Punta Salinas [park to the right as soon as able to and walk along to the right to the most magical spot reminiscent to Blue Lagoon], Isla De Cabras [otw, stop by the funky two-story house and have a pina colada with Lee]). We enjoyed the outside a lot, swam laps in the pool and fished (poles and equipment provided at the house). Recommend visiting Charco Azul and sampling the amazing pork along Ruta del Lechon. Highly recommend.

Loved my stay at Javier & Carmen’s. The place was perfect for a solo traveler or couple. The bed was very comfortable and the small pool was great to cool off in! It’s a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. Definitely would stay here again!

We had a great stay in Luquillo—amazing beaches, lots of fun things to do, good food. The apartment is in a small complex with a pool and eight apartments, just a block from the beach. It was clean and secure, and Jesus was a great host. No complaints, would return!

One of the best spots I’ve stayed. If you’re looking for private, peaceful getaway near everything, this is the place. Coming back definitely.

Completed another stay at the nautical dream house (lower floor). For anyone looking for lagoon access and amazing food (just down the street from multiple food options in Los Pinones), then this is the place to stay. Zulma was super communicative, and responded quickly to every question we had. The kayak at the location made nice morning and evening paddles around the lagoon a regular occurrence during our stay. It is a much more authentic Puerto Rico feel than staying in other places like Condado or Isla Verde, and the food is by far superior to those locations. Plus, you avoid the traffic in San Juan when headed to destinations like Fajardo or El Yunque. Will be back to stay again for sure!

I have to be honest I actually really liked the air bnb. The location was so beautiful! The place was very clean. The host was very nice. We felt right at home. It was so nice waking up, walking outside and seeing El Morro across the bay. I will def be staying here again on my next visit. Soooo much better than a hotel. Oh oh and, there is an awesome walk with things to see and places to eat literally like right outside your door. I absolutely recommend this spot

Had a relaxing and awesome stay. My friend and I just needed a getaway and were blown away by the space, the walkability, and its proximity to everything we could need. The manager was very present and responsive with instruction and timelines. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I will definitely rebook.

Our stay at Casa Lago-front Lake La Plata and Pool was truly unforgettable! The initial drive was a bit challenging the first time, and yes you should do drive during the day for the first time. The property was absolutely worth it offering breathtaking , peaceful lake views and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The location is perfect for nature lovers. Surrounded by the serene beauty of Naranjito’s mountains We especially loved the heated pool and outdoor area. Carolina was an awesome host! She was incredibly detailed with the amenities, recommendations and provided excellent support throughout our stay. Her attention to detail made us feel right at home and we found the property to be extremely clean. I would definitely stay again and recommend.
