Beachfront vacation rentals in Carmen Beach

Excellent place, very welcoming and family, of fixed I will return with my family, nothing more an observation for new customers, take care to leave the food well kept at night, since the kitchen is open concept and many raccoons arrive at night, one day they left us without breakfast since they wallowed absolutely everything. From there, everything is super good.

Our accommodation was very good. My group was looking for a house with a good location and that's exactly what Roy offered us. The photos end up valuing the house too much, but still the cost of benefit was very good. At Villas Amoi you don't have the greatest luxury, but you have plenty of room and you're in a great location.

The place was clean and looked as the pictures described it. Great host and responds very quick! Thanks for a great stay.

Great house , very close to the beach. Great for families with kids or the elderly. Luis was extremely responsive and a very friendly host.

It was everything promised and more. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful, exactly as advertised, and very well stocked. We had 7 adults but could easily have had more very comfortably. Read the guest manual! It contains so much excellent information. We took several of the suggestions and had excellence service and experiences from all of them. Ramona was so helpful and quick to respond to all our queries. The community is quiet and friendly. Not a party place. The beach is lovely and the water was warm. We did several day trips to nearly-by attractions and never ran out of fun. I will be recommending to all friends and family. I can't think of a better location for a family holiday. Five stars to every aspect this property!

Rick and Karen's place was beautiful, private and located in a safe, gated community very close to the beach and a lovely local restaurant. Would definitely return and stay a little longer. Maybe golf a round at their immaculate golf course!

This is a nice little spot to stay at. Josette is awesome, very attentive and kind. She lives in the unit below. The unit is extremely close to the beach and is spotless/kept very clean. It comes with tons of bath and beach towels. The outdoor kitchen is a nice touch and is cool enough at night to get cooking. Great stove, nice fridge… more than equipped in the kitchen. Air conditioning is brand new and wifis as fast as I’ve seen in CR. Heater water… Definitely recommend for remote work… nice patio to hang out on. One caveat, this is in a busy part of town, so it can be a little hectic down at the main road near the unit. If you’re looking for a super quiet and isolated holiday, this might not be the right spot, but for most people it’ll work nicely and is near to all the action. Lastly- one nice touch is the electronic gate. If you have a car or ATV this is very very convenient. Thanks Josette for the hospitality! Pura vida.

The house was exactly as described. Beutifull Garden, View, full nature. Room was really good. The only thing to have in mind is the montezuma main road really close to the house, so, sadly, many vehicles there and it could be noisy some times. Beyong that, our stay was amazing. Many thanks to our host.

Joseph’s property is a serene, peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and just a five-minute walk to the ocean. The tranquil setting and nature’s beauty made it the perfect escape for New Year's Eve. One highlight was meeting Macho, the friendly “guardian” dog, who quickly became a cherished part of our stay. Joseph’s hospitality was exceptional—he was kind, responsive, and even made us delicious homemade pizza one evening. We had a small misunderstanding about bringing two dogs instead of one, but Joseph was incredibly understanding and welcomed both with open arms. The property itself was well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with inviting outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature. Our only minor issue was a missed cleaning service, but Joseph apologized and offered to reschedule, though it was too close to our departure to be worthwhile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d love to return!

Pat’s apartment was great, in a peaceful and beauty condo, nice pool, very close to the beach and in a very safe place, I would come back w/o any doubt!

AMAZING! This place is beyond beautiful. The property is truly one of a kind. The level of service we received was absolutely above expectations. Felicitas greeted us when we arrived at the property, created a group chat, was always available for questions, and made sure we were accommodated in every way. There was a cleaning lady and maintenance man who kindly greeted us every morning. Felicitas facilitated all of our activities and excursions. Santa Teresa is a cute little town full of restaurants and bars to enjoy your time at. We shared the property with a family of monkeys, a raccoon, and some iguanas. Overall, our week was amazing and we can't wait to book again!

Fabulous bnb on the beach with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen and utensils. Two small groceries in the little town. We did well with a high clearance two wheel drive and the roads, while some are very curvy, from Liberia are paved until the last 2-3 miles. It took about 4 hours to drive from Liberia. Outdoor setting is fabulous, relaxing, on the beach, with hammock and chairs. Rocky for swimming but able to wade. Lots of great beaches within 30 minutes drive. Buy fish (tuna) from local place… it’s best I’ve had. People are very friendly and lots of great quaint places to eat in Cabuya, as well as Montezuma. Hiking, waterfalls, beaches, pina coladas, and chill time made for a great vacation. Jenny was great for making everything smooth.

The house was located in the heart of town but set away from the road so it felt very peaceful and private. Richard was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations.

Had an amazing stay. Beautiful place and location. Our three kids enjoyed the pool and tidal pools on the beach. Wouldn’t hesitate coming back.

This was our second stay at April’s, and it’s easily our favorite Airbnb in Santa Teresa. The location and ocean views are simply unbeatable. April is a fantastic host—warm, helpful, and quick to respond. Her adorable dog, Papaya, always makes us feel welcome. The space has everything you could need, and is very private and peaceful. We can’t wait to go back!

Thank you for your stay Susan, Great, a lovely place. We had 8 wonderful days at Susan's place, the house is as described and is just wonderfully located. There is a restaurant, a small supermarket and of course the beach and the pool. In addition, the sweetest neighbors. You're not left to yourself, but get a great check-in with Sebastian, a manager in the area. In addition, many restaurants within driving distance. We hope to come back another time.
