Beachfront vacation rentals in Carmen Beach

This home really felt like a home away from home. I needed a place to work remotely with no distractions, and this home was perfect for that. There was an issue with ants, but that is to be expected when you're living in the jungle!! Eden was very helpful in doing everything possible to fix the issue. Maria, the cleaning lady, was amazing! The location of the house is about a 5 min drive up a rocky road from the main road, so an ATV is definitely needed. At first, I thought the house was too far, but it was honestly so fun driving up and down with the ATV. The view of the ocean at the top of the hill while surrounded by the jungle also makes the drive worth it.

Roys place was beautiful! It was right off of the main road and easy to get to. The place was clean and there was cleaning service every day.

We had a great time in the house with a few little issues here and there. The house looks exactly like in the photos. It is beautifully designed and it felt like home immediately. I especially loved the tropical garden and the pool. I spent hours walking in the garden, looking at all the plants and animals and grabbing bananas and papayas from the trees. Yam was a very nice host and helped us whenever she could. For example we asked if there was a toaster in the kitchen. She said unfortunately no but two days later she came around and brought us a band new one. Unfortunately the washing machine broke when we tried to wash the beach towels. She tried to fix it but because the technician is in San Jose, she could'nt get it fixed before us leaving the house. But because of that, she offered to wash our towels herself and bring them back the next day. All in all, we had a great stay and Yam did everything she could to solve any problem as fast as possible.

Beautiful home well tended to. No complaints but recommend having vehicle to access neighboring beaches ie Santa Teresa, Montezuma, manzanilla. etc

Excellent place to spend time as a family, for sure, you are very close to nature, the beach is very clean. It has all the amenities in excellent condition and the pool inside the property is very comfortable and beautiful.

We really liked the house and enjoyed our stay, however there are some minor things that do need some fixing. Overall we had a good time, but of course for the price charged you expect all the things to work perfectly. These were minor and easy to fix , so in the end the house is worth staying at for the view you can wake up to and bring very close to the beach and restaurants!

I know everyone has said the place is better than the pictures, but it is. Every single room in the house has one wall that is architectural glass. Also there really are two bedrooms that are identical, and two identical bathrooms that don’t smell Like mold HORAY! The area is quiet and away from Santa Theresa, but it’s still very accessible by a vehicle. Laurie did us a solid on a last minute booking and saved us from a nightmare of a “boutique hotel”. What a great place to spend Christmas!”

Very good location, close to restaurants and the beach, but a little far from the hustle and bustle of the busiest part. Clean room, the pool is very good with that heat. It's pet friendly and our pet was able to be with us and enjoy it too!! Rodrigo welcomed us very well and everything was as advertised!

Heike and Hans place is a slice of heaven! Very remote and hard to find but that is the best part.

I had an amazing experience staying at Pamela's place! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained the property was. It was fully equipped with everything I could possibly need, making me feel right at home. The serene surroundings offered a perfect escape into nature, allowing me to unwind and recharge. I spent my days exploring the beautiful outdoors and my evenings enjoying the peaceful ambiance. I felt completely rested and rejuvenated by the end of my stay. I can’t wait to return for another relaxing getaway! Highly recommend this gem!

We could not have enjoyed a better vacation with our family. It was exactly as described and in a fantastic area close to everything we could have wanted. The beaches and shops were close and our host was super communicative and helpful the entire time. The unit was very clean and provided everything we needed, we will definitely be visiting again!!

We could not have a better stay. The apartment was spotless, spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and very stylish. What a find! Next door is a great open space Yoga Shala with 4 classes a day and the beach a 2 min walk away. Lots of shops and trendy restaurants round the corner. We are so grateful for the best stay we had in Costa Rica so far. Thank you, Nadia. We will surely be back

Great place to spend the holiday!

If you want to relax by the ocean you will enjoy this peace of heaven.

Maria's villa was beautiful, with a private pool (daily cleaning) and backyard. The villa is very spacious and has everything you might need. This villa is in the gated golf club community, which is nice, well-maintained, quiet and perfect for early-morning golfing. It does not have a private beach. The public beach is with sand and very shallow access to water. The ocean was very warm in December when we visited Costa Rica. The beach is not clean, so you can see the garbage that the ocean brings to it. It is beautiful for long walks but not convenient for swimming and laughing; therefore, there are no people on the beach. The Golf Club has only one poorly supplied food store. You have to go to a nearby town for food. The Club has only one pizza restaurant, which is somewhat dirty and poorly maintained. The neighbourhood does not have any nice and decently clean restaurants or places to eat, or we could find it. Overall, this is a nice place if you are looking for a quiet vacation.

Our family had a wonderful time at the house. Very comfortable! The host was very responsive and kind.

We spent an amazing month here! The hosts were quick to respond if needed, and the entire community was beautiful. The house itself is exactly like the pictures. Great kitchen, beautiful backyard, and very clean. Comfortable beds, and nice showers. Short walk to an almost private beach. So much nature just in the community itself. Many species of birds, manta ray sightings, deer, goats, turtles and cayman. The store on the property has everything you might need, and is reasonably priced. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home; we hope to return soon!

The house was located in the heart of town but set away from the road so it felt very peaceful and private. Richard was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations.

We had the best month long stay at Nir and Roset’s place! Both Nir and the property manager, Peter, have been the most responsive and accommodating hosts answering in the record time to any questions or requests we had. The place itself is very modern and spacious, surrounded by nature and monkeys that we got to see quite a lot. Having a gate and lots of parking was also helpful as at one point we had a car, a golf cart and an atv parked inside while still having tons of room. The complimentary cleaning was also amazing, and only required a one day notice. Having laundry on site was also a huge benefit for us as we stayed for an entire month, and based on experience of our friends not every place has this perk. The place also has a great location and a private beach access which was amazing. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation, and for better hosts. Highly recommend to everyone, and we wish we could have extended our stay! Thank you to Nir & Peter!

April’s place in Santa Teresa was hands-down one of my absolute favorites. During our time in Costa Rica, we stayed in several homes, but this one stood out as the most delightful and unique experience of all. It truly surpassed all of my expectations. As a host, April was exceptional. She went above and beyond to cater to our needs, providing thoughtful creature comforts that made us feel right at home. She even stocked a few items in the fridge to help us get started, which was such a kind and unexpected touch. The house itself was incredible—stunning views, fantastic amenities, and an overall charm that the photos simply cannot capture. It was even better in person! The road up to the house was a bit of an adventure, but thankfully, we had a four-wheel-drive vehicle. April meeting us at the bottom of the hill to guide us up was incredibly helpful and appreciated. If you’re looking for a truly special place to stay in Santa Teresa, April’s home is an absolute must!
