Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Carcavelos

This house has been remodeled-very nice. Beautiful kitchen. Close to the market and many restaurants. Walkable to the major attractions. Having a parking spot at the house was very helpful. The outside areas to sit around the house are very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house, with lots of space and a beautiful garden. 30 minutes drive from Lisbon center, very close to the beaches (5min) and close to super nice walking path. Great for families, thank you to Suzanna for her welcome and this comfortable accommodation.

Had a really nice stay at Teresas place. Lovely to have a whole house with nice outside areas. Since the location is a bit outside Lisbon it requires transport to get both there and to the beach. We mostly used Bolt taxis which was really effective and very affordable. For people wanting to live outside the most hectic places and both want to be able to enjoy Lisbon and a lazy day by the pool it is highly recommended.

Situated in a quiet area of town, local supermarket only a short distance and a lovely peaceful walk to the centre of the bustling, beautiful town of Cascais. Accommodation was clean, spacious and perfectly suitable self catering. The small pool was a bonus

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Rosa’s place. The house is beautifully situated, clean and cosy. Rosa went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. She communicated clearly and went out of her way to facilitate our holiday. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very good place to stay with family and small kids. Easy to access metro and busses to go to city center. Calm area and all services close by - also lot of good local restaurants. Really recommend this even more than staying in city center!

A timeless moment in this wonderful place. The apartment has everything you need! Beach within walking distance in 10 min maximum. The pellet stove is a real plus if you come out of season! The host is very responsive. We'll be back, that's for sure!

We loved staying at Vanessa's place - it was a very peaceful spot to rest and relax in for a few nights in Lisbon! The terrace is spectacular and has a beautiful view overlooking the river - in nice weather, it's perfect to spend time with friends and enjoy a glass of wine. If you're with a group, you may fight over who gets to stay in the master bedroom, but everyone was comfortable in their beds. We had a little bit of trouble finding the place at first (I think just a small typo in the address) and then locating which apartment (look for the piano on the landing!), but Vanessa responded quickly and was very helpful and accommodating in allowing us to drop off our bags before check-in time. The apartment was very clean and well-stocked, and the neighborhood is great - much more of a local feel, away from the touristy areas. I hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Alexandra is an amazingly efficient, communicative and polite host. All the check in instructions were sent ahead of time which made finding the apartment so easy. Little things like sending the google map made it really quick for us to collect the rental car and be on our way. The apartment is beautiful and spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The location is great - close to all the amenities but still peaceful & quite in the evenings. Having the balcony was wonderful to watch the world go by during the day and the beautiful night sky. Alexandra is super responsive - I messaged to ask a question about the washer and she responded immediately to ensure all was well. We would definitely be back and would highly recommend. We loved our stay at Maria’s place! For a family of four it was the perfect size and in a fabulous location close to everything. Check in was smooth and the apartment had everything we could need. Highly recommend!

Adelia and her team were kind and helpful. They communicated well and were quick to respond. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to celebrate a holiday. We had 8–9 adults and 2–3 kids and there were plenty of dishes for everyone. The dining table and living room were large enough for us to eat and relax together comfortably. The WiFi worked well and the kids loved the basement with workstations and games. The pool was a favorite! The washer was nice to have and we had what we needed to dry clothes. The property and neighborhood felt safe and parking was easy. The rooms were spacious and it was great that everyone had their own bathroom. Trash disposal was simple. This home was perfect for our group and made our stay enjoyable.

Perfect house for a family and friends. Very close to central Lisbon and the beach. Tristan and the housekeeper always responded promptly to my questions. Strongly recommend staying at this house when visiting Lisbon with your family or friends.

Beautiful home in a beautiful country. The hosts here are amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay exceeded everyone’s expectations. Everyone in our group had plenty of room to unpack and spread out. The property is secluded and private yet only minutes to town and shops / restaurants. GREAT value for the money. We loved staying here. It’s so spacious and clean. The host had great communication with us and was very proactive. We had 2 babies on this trip and the host was super kind and helpful. It’s at a great location - close to restaurants, cafe’s and not far from a surfing beach we went to daily. Recommend to stay 10/10.

It is a beautiful house, with a beautiful swimming pool. You have all the space and everything is there. Maria is also a very nice hostess. The house is on a busy road and it is useful to have a car. We enjoyed it!

We were a group of 8 and the size of the villa was optimal! Two rooms of the five bedrooms are more luxuriously equipped. There are also four bathrooms, which was a big plus! The pool is nice and big, unfortunately the hot tub didn't work. The villa is well located, we had rental cars and were able to get around Lisbon well within 20-30 minutes. You can also get there very quickly and cheaply to Uber! Unfortunately, what bothered us a lot were the noisy dogs in the area that were permanently barking. All in all, we can really recommend the villa and would come back!

Great location, very nice hosts, beautiful garden and a cozy little cottage with a lovely barbecue place. Close to the forest for nice walks. The beach is only a few minutes away by car.

We stayed 2 nights and had a great time! Very clean and great location. A little far out from the centre of Sintra but still very beautiful and private place.
