It's a short 2 minute walk to the beach providing a great anchor for days at the beach, yet it's only a few miles from Santa Cruz. We're two minutes from a deli, restaurant, coffee shop, and corner store. Only a little bit further you can find many more restaurants, a grocery store, and Aptos Village. We're also very close to Nisene Marks and other wonderful hikes.

What an absolutely stellar and extremely comfortable home. My entire family greatly enjoyed the hospitality, well appointed kitchen, fantastic outdoor space and the built in bunkbeds worked perfectly for our teens. Incredible location and visiting the nearby Farmer's Market was a definite highlight (as well as the beaches of course!). We'd love to return sometime in the future! Thank you!

Ian and his brother Ryan were excellent hosts! They were extremely communicative, which I always very much appreciate. I loved the brightness of each room, one with a large window and the other with a french door to a spacious backyard. We felt very comfortable in the home and also loved the live plants in the kitchen area. The kitchen has nice pots and pans, a few spices to cook with, and all needed utensils. We always cook when we travel, so it was great to have all of these needs met! The beds were comfortable, and the couch was nice and cozy as well :) Great location too!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mariam's place! From the moment we booked, Mariam was incredibly kind and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions right away. The house was spotless and super cozy — the perfect size for our family of four and our two pups! It's in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, just a short walk to the beach, which was a huge plus for us. Location is fantastic - walkability to the boardwalk and the local park, which our two young kids used a few times during our short stay. The place was also clean and matched the description. The amenities, specifically the stocking of the kitchen and bathrooms was a bit lacking. For example, there are no paper products, except for toilet paper, and no coffee or tea. Communication and check in were easy.

Clean, well-appointed, spacious home less than a block from the beautiful Twin Lakes Beach. You can see the beach from chairs on the front lawn. We were lucky enough to be there during the lighted boat parade (first Saturday in December), so we watched the lighted boats in the water from the front yard. Everything was easily accessible. The home includes many amenities (washer/dryer, cooking supplies, games, pack n play). The room with the bunk beds has a separate bathroom, making it really nice for families with older kids. Great stay and I hope we can return.

Steve's place was awesome. Close to the beach, a rooftop deck, and plenty of room for all of us to sleep and hang out. Kitchen had everything we could have needed, and the hot tub was a nice treat at the end of the day. We appreciated having a couple beach cruisers available to ride down to one of the nearby beaches in the evenings.

James’s place in Capitola was really lovely. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer! He offered a lot of special touches that made it feel like home and you can tell he cares very much about his guests experience. Except for the shampoo, I really enjoyed my stay. Wonderful location (took me a minute to find it), very unique and right where you can access all the lovely things that Capitola has to offer. I defintely recommend this lovely cottage to anyone wanting to stay in this area.
