My place is close to the beach and parks . You’ll love my place because of very private, pavilion style home with great outdoor eating..romantic getaway in your own private resort. Short walk of 200m to the beach on an easy, direct path out of the back gate - great for kite surfers, and beach lovers. A 5mins(3km) bus ride into town with bus stops close by to Macrossan Street.

The option of being able to accommodate an extended family was of prime importance. The layout enabled us to have our own private spaces plus a lovely communal area around the main pool which is where the grandkids spent most of their time. Easy access to the beach was also a plus. Anyone with a large family group should consider this property.

We had an absolutely fantastic week away at The Bahama house in Port Douglas. The house is stunning and thoughtfully laid out and decorated. It is ideal for families and friends. We relaxed by the pool, visited the sites including four mile beach and spent time at the Great Barrier Reef. We are so grateful to have stayed here and would love to visit in the future again!

If you truly want to experience the rainforest, you need to stay north of the river. And this place is the best place you can find north of the river. Even though remote, the house had everything, including swimming pool. I would definitely stay here again. The wildlife in this part of the forest was fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay at Thomas' place. 2 families fit well, clean, well equipped kitchen, nespresso coffee, great pool and BBQ, clean linen, good laundry, seperate media room. Quiet Location at end of no through road, though still walking distance to water, cafes and ice-cream! Happily recommend this house. The hosts communicated promptly, and all instructions were clear and timely. Appreciate the few kids toys and desk area. We would stay there again.

Lovely home with everything you could need. It was ideal for two families, 3 bedrooms with ensuites, 4th bed a little small with shared bathroom, ideal for kids. Open living space. Great pool for families with good visibility when kid’s swimming. We only wished the pool had been heated as it was a bit chilly.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and our young grandson. We were celebrating a significant birthday, and the house was the perfect venue for this. Our grandson loved the pool. The location is an easy walk to both Macrossan Street and other Port Douglas hot spots, as well as the beach. The house was very well equipped and had all we needed for a great family holiday. Chris and his team were very communicative and responded quickly to any requests. They made us feel welcome from the beginning. Highly recommended. We would most definitely stay again.

Fantastic house surrounds, even better than the pictures. Easy walking access to 4 mile beach Maccrossan Street and all that Port Douglas has to offer. On arrival the house, gardens and pool were immaculate. Access was easy from the provided information with excellent security. We would highly recommend this house to any group looking for an FNQ/Port Douglas holiday.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers spent a week at Bedrock and it was a perfect homebase with plenty of space! It was great to have a retreat for the kids downstairs and the views were lovely each morning! A great house where the hosts have thought of everything (including the table tennis - a huge hit!)
