Direct location on the beach and parking in front of the door! Well-equipped apartment! Ana was easy to reach and when we needed something she brought it immediately (baby bath) 20 min walk to the village which is really nice!

Lindsey, the host, was very decisive and kind, with very quick responses and attentive to everything at all times. The stay was excellent, very quiet house and with all the amenities that are advertised, too bad not being able to use the pool, it was amazing… but the weather didn't give us a break to use it. The stay was very good in every aspect and very comfortable. To repeat without a doubt.

A dining table is set for six with white plates and wine glasses, accompanied by blue utensils and woven placemats. The background features a modern kitchen with a stainless steel hood, coffee maker, and other kitchen appliances neatly arranged.

Beachfront apartment in Praia de Mira

We had a great time in Praia de Mira as a family with two children. Nature is incredibly beautiful and the expansive beach on your doorstep. The apartment is on the outskirts of town but the center is easily accessible on foot, recommended is the walk across the wooden jetty along the dune. The apartment is really well equipped, the beds comfortable, in the kitchen it has everything you need, even basic vinegar, oil and spices. We also particularly appreciated the range of wine for a fee. Some smaller supermarkets are available in the village for what is necessary. There are various restaurants with good food in the village. Carlos helped us a lot upon arrival, which we appreciated very much. We arrived by public transport from the airport, which is not easy, but it is possible. It is easier by taxi or rental car. We can highly recommend this apartment and would be happy to come back.

We had a great stay in this very bright, lovingly furnished apartment in a quiet fishing village right behind the dunes – in the first row to the sea. The place was spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows extremely comfortable and the kitchen well equipped – perfect for taking care of yourself. Especially practical: a private garage space and beach utensils that made our stay even more enjoyable. In the village there are surf schools, restaurants, two cafés, a mini supermarket and a really good bakery. Nearby, excursions to Aveiro, Costa Nova or hiking around Quiaios are worthwhile. We had three varied days: from sun and 28 degrees on the beach to stormy rain to perfect weather for long walks by the sea – this apartment is really suitable for any weather. Communication with Simone was quick and very helpful - including pictures for orientation. We would always come back - highly recommended.

Everything was great except finding the actual building. We found the parking lot after driving around for a while and then there were several doors leading from the parking lot but they were not labeled. We went up and down three flights of stairs several times before finding it. Each door should have a number or something

Good accommodation, close to the beach and restaurants and bars, a quiet area when it comes to resting. A good location to get to know other surrounding towns. I recommend it. The hostess was very kind.

If you are near Mira, I highly recommend Big Fish's apartment. It immediately feels at home with this wonderful host. She wants to make you feel very comfortable. We couldn't discover any downsides. In a word, great.

Everything was perfect, warm welcome from the hosts, impeccable cleaning, everything well explained with a pool with a perfect location sun all day, and a beautiful basket of fruits and vegetables on arrival. The location of the property is perfect and very quiet, Mira beach is a 5-min drive.

A fully equipped kitchen showcases blue cabinetry contrasted by a light countertop. A window allows natural light to brighten the space. Essential appliances, including a stove, blender, and washing machine, are present. A textured rug lies on the tiled floor, adding comfort to the area.
