Vacation rentals in Canaan Mountain

Exactly what we needed for a family of 4 with 2 young kids! An easy walk to the ski school and chairlift at Timberline. We loved warming up by the gas fireplace when we came in after skiing. The kitchen had spices, oil, and plenty of dishes and utensils. There were extra blankets in a bedroom closet. The bottom floor ski closet was convenient. An easy drive to Mountain Owl Market, and we enjoyed Timberline resort too!

Dan’s home was very cozy and you cannot beat its location. A must for skiers and a cool place to have our Thanksgiving holiday meal.

Everything was great! please note the bedrooms are NOT connected, but that makes for amazing privacy. Hot tub was amazing. Communicated very well with us. Instructions were on point for checkout.

Laura's condo is very close to the ski trail. You could throw a snowball from the skiing surface and hit the building. It has everything you need for a family of up to 4. Well equipped kitchen, sleeping for 4, washer and dryer, internet, TV.

We loved our stay here. The Airbnb was really clean for a cabin getaway! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we’d need to cook. It’s a weird walk to downtown Thomas but well worth it. There were a lot of cute restaurants and art shops. I’d definitely stay here again!

This was a great stay right in the heart of the Canaan Valley. Very convenient location. Close to the towns of Davis and Thomas, close to the mountain resorts, and close to Dolly sods and other great hiking. Check-in was smooth, the place was clean, convenient, and exactly as listed. Suggestions from Charles were appreciated, and instructions from were clear and easy to follow. I’d recommend this stay to anyone, and I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at quite a few cabins the last ten years or so and this one was by far the most scenic. It's located atop a hill, feels very private. Love the little chicken and goat farm at the bottom. We saw a lot of deer passing through the property all day. Wild turkeys. We're birders from Ohio and got to appreciate the many different species from the front porch. You can see the mountain range from the kitchen table. Plenty of towels provided, full size fridge and freezer, large yard. Basketball court, and so forth. Two and a half bath, two full size beds and a bunk bed. Two couches. There's no lack of room. Had an issue with the hot tub but Patrick was quick to help me resolve it and was able to enjoy it on our trip. Looking forward to returning if it's available next time.

This was a great stay. We had to leave a day early due to a small kid injury while skiing. Host was extremely helpful and accommodating with the change of plans. We will be back!

my friends and I had an amazing relaxed bachelorette weekend, binge watching twilight and playing board games. The lake house was absolutely beautiful, even if it was chilly we wanted to sit outside and look at the pretty trees.
