Cabin vacation rentals in Camp Nelson

It was a cute cabin/treehouse, with big windows and hot tub. I'm sure it would be even better in the snow. Loved the stay!

This is a beautiful cabin and the Mountain View’s were gorgeous. We would wake up to deer in the backyard and birds chirping with a fresh mountain breeze. The locals at the grill down the street were amazing and the food was amazing. Will definitely be booking again in the future and maybe for an even longer stay next time ;)

Very nice, lots of space in personal character. You feel like you are at a home, not a place calibrated for renting, which we like. Great jacuzzi. And super quiet, calm and relaxing and yet very close to the Saloon and Sportsman (my Fav).

Staying at Kris’s place reminded me of what AirBnB used to be— a unique stay with a friendly host. This is definitely not a cookie cutter place. Fantastic views, great star gazing from the hot tub, and unbelievably quiet at night. Best sleep I’ve had in some time. Now to the mundane- the kitchen was well stocked and we easily made our Thanksgiving dinner there. Follow Kris’s suggestions and get your groceries before heading up the hill.

We really enjoyed our time here! The Sequoia forest is just beautiful. We loved spending time on the deck enjoying the view above the clouds. The electric fire pit is super easy to use and doesn't leave a smoke smell to any of your clothes. The fire pit inside the home is also easy and heats very well. We had 9 people in total and felt the space was good. Ten would definitely be the max!! Unfortunately the gorgeous soaking tub didn't work for us, as the pipes weren't releasing hot water. However, overall - it was a great trip and would recommend!

This Airbnb is absolutely stunning and truly embodies the meaning of serenity. The beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect getaway. The attention to detail in the design and amenities added to the charm, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. If you're looking for a tranquil escape, this is the place to be. Highly recommend! Birdie is wonderful. She’s responsive and always available to help. She’s an incredible host. Best host I have ever had.

Cabin Grimm is a perfect getaway if you are looking for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of life. It such a cozy and peaceful cabin surrounded by beauty. You go for a nice walk around right outside or drive just a short distance for some beautiful hikes. Gabby is absolutely wonderful as well and very responsive to any questions you may have and has wonderful recommendations.

This place is so special! Owners didn’t miss a detail… So many special touches. We had an unforeseen issue power because of work being done in the area and the owners responded so quickly and generously to this one setback. Would highly recommend.

Charming cabin situated in a sequoia forest community. Kathe was flexible, friendly and attentive. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We’ll be back!

We had a great stay! Beautiful house with a short walk to town. Katy was easy to communicate with and had many suggestions of things to do and places to eat around town.

We had a great stay at the cabin. Cabin was super clean and had everything you needed to cook. I would take their advice about trying to get there with some daylight. The roads were extra curvy and I (and everyone in the car) would have felt better with some light. Great location as well, with plenty of great hikes to beautiful views, rivers, and waterfalls. Definitely coming back in the summer.

Staying at Lisa’s was exactly what I was looking for in my fall get away. The cabin is cute, comfy, clean, and well organized. It’s so welcoming and the scrabble bucket was a trip fav.

Cari’s place was so cozy. The kitchen was very nice and had so many helpful tools in there and more! Seeing the mountains everyday was so beautiful. They had many games and drawing stuff for our family and our kids absolutely loved it. We would highly recommend this place! Very close to town too!

We had a great stay at Emma's place. It was the cleanest airbnb I've stayed at - the space was laid out well, and was very cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved using the fireplace.

This place is exactly what we expected. A cabin in the woods, kinda in the middle of nowhere. There is a decent, small diner and a tiny convenience store about two minutes down the road. The place is quite large and has a good assortment of boardgames and books, which we ended up using because it rained Part of our trip. Keep in mind that even though it is geographically close to the sequoia Park, it can take well over an hour to actually get there because of the roads. The two trails we did were quite nice and within a five minute drive of the house.

This is a great place to get away and disconnect, would definitely recommend and come back. Host and co host are very friendly and helpful when needed. A great experience overall.

Christopher was so fantastic to guide us through everything, including the weather forecast, roads, gas stations, all. The cabin it’s beautiful the pictures don’t make justice, perfect for a family. We have the most unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this place if you want to have a wonderful time away from the noise and connect with nature.

The place was super cozy and we had the best time with the fireplace and board games. When we locked ourselves out Ryan replied super fast and had a back up plan to get us back in. He was very fast to respond and always super helpful. Saving this place for the next time!!

We loved staying here for a few days at Thanksgiving! We watched movies, walked down to the river and really just enjoyed the serenity. It was so nice sipping morning coffee every morning while watching our 2 dogs run around the large enclosed yard or play fetch. Our 13 year old son said that he thought it was one of the best Thanksgivings we have ever had! We can’t wait to come back in the summer for water rafting.

Fyza's cabin/trailer was really comfortable for our one night stay. Fyza and Djalili are excellent hosts. I appreciated their proactive communication and the thoughtful welcome gift. The provided games kept our family entertained, and the extra blankets were cozy on the cold night we visited. The location is lovely, quiet, and private. We saw deer while we were checking out, which was a pleasant surprise.

From our first stay in 2023, I imagined creating core memories with my future children here. I always knew coming back would feel like magic, but sharing it with our newborn son this year was everything and more. It was so nice to see the little touches here and there that have changed since last year, proving that Kelly and her husband truly do put continuous thought into the experience they create for their guests. We were so lucky to have been able to book all three cabins with our family and friends this visit. If you get the chance to do the same, I highly recommend! Until next year! ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, we were interested in the possibility of early check-in as we were coming from opposite ends of the state. While Colin responded quickly to our inquiries, there was no indication that early check-in might be possible until the actual day of arrival. As such, my sister and I met at Walmart in Tulare, only to then find out we were able to check-in early. Tulare was out of the way for both of us. I understand cleaning takes time, but when check-out is 11:00am and accommodations aren't extensive, a 5 hour turn time seems excessive. Otherwise the cottage was clean, cute and a great spot for our adventures in Sequoia. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had plenty of dishes, bowls, etc. and heaters worked well and kept us cozy. There is no cellular available, but WiFi works well. Check out instructions are extensive. Strip beds, place towels in washer, take out trash. All the more reason a 5 hour turn time seems excessive.
