Vacation rentals in California Hot Springs

We had a wonderful stay at Hafuma Ranch. The views are incredible from every room in the house. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains in the mornings and rainbows in between rain showers. We also did a lot of birdwatching and observed herons fishing in the pond. The cows on the property are super cute too. As an animal lover, I appreciated that the ranch is pet-friendly. The home is very clean and well-furnished, with comfortable furniture and beds. Also, cheers to a well-equipped kitchen! We had everything we needed to cook while we were there. Jeff is a friendly, responsive host. Thanks Jeff!

If you’re ever in Bakersfield and in need of a place to stay, don’t pass this place up! I can’t believe I’m sharing this because I want it all to myself anytime I’m in town. The light in the house is amazing, the vintage feel was spot on and the back yard gives off such a relaxing vibe.

Our stay was comfortable and pleasant at Joy and Jay's house. We loved the sound of the fountain on the lake in the backyard, the fireplace, the piano, and the fully stocked kitchen with seasonings, breakfast items and snacks. It truly felt like home away from home. Would definitely stay there again.

A truly mid-century cabin that feels like a humble trip back to the Sierra of bygone days. The cabin is in town, though Pine Flat is relatively off-the-beaten path and a nice southern entry point to the Sequoias. Joanie is very communicative and a quite attentive host. Thanks for everything!

Wanted to get away for the weekend and picked this place looking over Lake Isabella. The drive up to the stay does take a little while (11 mins or so) but it really is worth it. I recommend doing your shopping beforehand unless you want to explore out. There’s a place to walk around right outside too and the view is stunning. Definitely worth checking out and seeing all the unique artwork too. Makes you feel like you are outside of CA :)

Overall, i had a great stay. The house is clean. Instructions were clear. Troy was very hospitable and responsive. 10/10 experience. Would love to stay here again next time I’m in town.

Our Thanksgiving by the Kern was a dream, A perfect place for our little family team. Quail danced in the yard, deer roamed at night, And the river’s song brought pure delight. Ty’s kindness made check-in a breeze, A home filled with love, so easy to please. The setup was perfect for a father of three, A 9, 5, and 3-year-old, happy as can be. The backyard was magic, the views serene, Nature’s beauty, like a living scene. Laughter and memories, joy in the air, A trip to remember, beyond compare. We’ll cherish this stay forever more, By the Kern River, a place we adore. Thank you from the Walker’s for a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay!

Isabel was a great communicator and very accommodating. The house was very spacious and the large outside area was private, scenic, and well-equipped. It was too cold to go into the pool, but lounging outside was relaxing, with a resort feel. The master suite is large and very impressive! Plenty of room in the house for the six of us visiting Bakersfield. Great, safe neighborhood to walk and enjoy the large homes and the lovely landscaped yards.

Loved this house! It feels like a home, not staged, it is HUGE and the garden is great! Lots of space, peaceful and quiet. The pool is big, and I'm sure great in the summer (it was too cold when we were there.) Sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous. This is a great place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle, it is surrounded by fields and vineyards, very quiet except for the occasional chicken and sheep sound :) There is a small town about 5-10 minutes away by car but we brought everything we needed so didn't check it out. Bakersfield is about a 30 minute drive. We didn't need to contact Rafael because everything was fine, but he was very friendly and helpful when we talked before booking. :) If we come back to Bakersfield, we'll definitely try to get this place again! It was perfect for us.

"Wonderful Stay at a Prime Location" We had an incredible time at this villa, which is located in a prime spot, close to everything! The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers a perfect getaway. Marco, the host, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made us feel right at home. The villa features a beautiful pool and the Spanish-style architecture really captures the authentic California vibes. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay.

This place was awesome me and my friends love Kernville!!!

This is our 3rd stay here and we keep coming back because we always have a wonderful time. The view from balcony is gorgeous and you are just a short drive to Kernville. We also appreciate how clean the place is and the amenities to make the stay more comfortable like extra blankets, the patio fire pit, and kitchen ware.

Sandie’s place was great! We had a big group and there was plenty of room for all of us. Sandie was very responsive and took care of any questions/needs we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay and the property made our weekend very special. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area. Will definitely be back
