MacKenzie House, In the hills above Loch Ness

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The property was fantastic. There was plenty of space for everyone and had a very welcoming vibe. The photos dont do it justice. The property is located in peaceful surroundings with wildlife right at the door step. Gail was very friendly and responded to messages very quickly. She also left us a wonderful welcome basket, which was much appreciated. I'd definitely go back in the future.

Stunning Aviemore House with Hot Tub and Sauna

AlannaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We loved our stay at the house. Fantastic sense of luxury and home all in one. We were in and out of the hot tub and sauna all weekend. We were staying for a big birthday so Susan had also really kindly left us some gifts which we were just delighted about. The location within Aviemore is fantastic, only a short distance away from the main town but right beside local woodland walks. Great views. Size of house was also just ideal for our family gathering. Ahead of check in, Susan was a great help, particularly in providing us with an earlier than advertised check in time and lots of really clear directions. She also left lots of really clear notices and instructions around the house. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Aviemore.

The Squirrels Aviemore -4 bed house with hot tub.

SandraRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
From the moment we arrived we knew we’d booked the right house for our family get together, it was perfect with a lovely enclosed garden making it safe for dogs and our granddaughter. It was in our very favourite part of Aviemore and we loved everything about our stay. Sarah was super helpful and always responded to any questions I had. We’d totally recommend The Squirrels and would love to stay again.

Log Cabin In The City with Hot Tub

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was very clean, homely and private. The pictures didn’t do the cabin justice, it was beautiful in person! The host had made sure the cabin was warm for us when arriving and had went the extra mile to light a candle for our arrival. Will 100% be recommending this place to friends and family

‘Tigh na ba’, Loch Etive, Argyll

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
If you are looking for off-the-beaten-track luxury with incredible wildlife, views of beautiful Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains which are second to none - then this is the place for you! Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay here and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this Air BnB and we would love to visit again. Note: we were thankful to find teabags and coffee - but bring your own milk. ;)

Aeleen is an excellent host. Friendly, helpful and great communicator. We had a small problem with an internet and Aeleen rose to the challenge to quickly fix the problem. Views from a house are stunning. It's an amazing place if you want to escape from the city. I cannot recommend it enough.

Craigrowan Croft (An Sean Tigh)

Martin CRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely cottage in a spectacularly beautiful area. We felt a very warmhearted welcome at An Sean Tigh Cottage next to the village of Strontian on Loch Sunart and felt very much at home here during our four nights' stay, exploring the wonderfully scenic area. Though everything about Laura and Grant's place quite matched both photos and description, the warmth and coziness of the cottage even exceeded our expectations, the underfloor heating and the wonderfully spacious bubble bathtub being lovely extras adding to the comfy feel. Thank you very much, Laura, Grant and the girls ! We'll be back whenever we will be in your area again. All the best to you ! Martin and Marc

Nice, comfy warm cottage with lovely views. Well equipped kitchen. Located on NC 500 and also a great location from which to climb the The Fannaich Munros. Route to Fionn Bheinn virtually from the front door. Nearby Midge cafe a great option for coffee and light meals.

The Gardener’s Cottage with wood fired Hot Tub

Becca Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were absolutely blown away by our stay at Ben Vheir cottage, it couldn’t have been more peaceful and private. The views were stunning, hot tub was perfect on a cold winters night and the log burner was the cherry on the cake. Truly a memory we will never forget, Caroline was fantastic at answering any questions I had and replied promptly. We will most definitely return, thank you again!

Lismore Bunkhouse on the Isle of Lismore

StephenRating, 5 stars43 months ago
A lovely, modern, well-designed environmentally sensitive building with three en-suite rooms opening on to a spacious living/kitchen area. Great views up towards Ben Nevis. Being about mid-way on the island exploring north and south on foot is easy. Wonderfully near the only shop and the community centre cafe and museum. Food at the cafe is punching above its weight for a small island with a great menu. Clare has an organic kitchen garden which can provide fresh veg if available plus eggs from the chickens.

Wild Farm Cottage

MickRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This cottage truly is off the grid. The owner Tilly had to drive us there from Tomintoul 15 min drive. No other house in sight. Just pure hilly countryside with about 100 deers hanging out in the field in front of us. Amazing peaceful place with outstanding views. No WiFi but liked that. Good 4g reception and digital terrestrial TV with a DVD player and choice of DVDs. We made good use of the hot tub daily and the sauna and even braved the plunge pool a few times which has fresh water from the mountains. Quite refreshing. We did a couple of day trips to Loch Ness 90 min and G2 adventure 50 min away. Local village Tomintoul has a nice village shop with amenities and pubs and restaurants. A restful idyllic place and good value for money.
