This is a great place to stay in Old Fort. Alison was very attentive and there is plenty of sleeping space for parents and children. Old Fort's Main Street is only 5 mins away, but the neighborhood is quiet with plenty of space to walk and explore. I will definitely stay here again.

This was such a great stay for our quick weekend trip for a friend’s wedding! We were happy to not have to leave our dogs at home, and they loved the outdoor space to run and play! The home itself was very clean, pretty, and full of nice touches for humans & dogs alike! Would stay here again!

Sharon’s space was perfect. She was incredibly welcoming by a personalized greeting, space for cooking, and a game room for fun. Perfect for much needed family time!

This needs to be your choice of stay in Morganton! Excellent. You won’t regret it! Beautiful and so convenient!

Great communication, The place is as described, very cozy, quiet and close to the town. There is a super close ski area I recommend it, we spent a very pleasant end of the year with our family.

Adrianne's response was quick! Nice place to stay for the money. Just can't understand why many would want to come to this area for vacation. Adrianne's place was adequate and performed well for my work crew that built my house.

My son and I had a great time. It was a perfect spot to get some rest and relaxation! The wood burning stove made the whole place feel warm even when the temperature dropped.

Our family had an amazing stay at this property! It was perfect for us and especially great for our 4- and 5-year-olds, who absolutely loved the children’s room, the art room, and the blackboard. The arcade machine was a hit with meI One of our favorite memories was having a fun-filled karaoke night together. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and even let us extend our stay, which made the experience even better. The space was thoughtfully designed for families, and we can’t wait to come back again!

Great place in the mountains. We were visiting family in the area and needed a comfortable place for my family of 4 to stay. Very clean and the water pressure is great. Nice and quiet.

This place is a real jem. My family and I were needing a relaxing quiet few days and we got just that. from morning to night it was awesome. The spot on the lake is not in a heavy traffic area. Our kids were constantly on the provided paddle boards & Kayaks. They are close to marina's where you can rent boats for the day, week or whatever you like. All in all a great experience with an awesome host!

Comfortable and inviting accommodations with great interior and outdoor gathering spaces. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating. Beautifully decorated home and responsive thoughtful hosts.

We had a lovely stay here on our first visit to Sugar Mountain. The view of the mountains was absolutely beautiful, and the sunsets were picture perfect. The place was exceptionally clean, we really appreciated that. We did catch a small scent of dog here and there, but this condo accepts pets, so that is to be expected. The bed was super comfy, the Jacuzzi tub was wonderful, and all the pegs to hold your wet snow gear were great! 5 minute drive to the Sugar Mountain ski lift parking lot, 7 min drive to great restaurants (we had Thai and BBQ), and a 20 min drive to Boone where we had excellent Greek food! We hope to come back again next winter for more skiing and tubing on the mountain!

Sarah was great to communicate with. We booked and arrived the same day. The biggest problem would be the parking situation. The top parking lot is for residents only. So you have to get a shuttle to and from your vehicle which is very inconvenient- especially in the freezing cold temperatures. So just be prepared for that. Also, there is one bar of prepackaged soap in the bathroom for guests, nothing more. Again, not a deal breaker but just come prepared with your own toiletries. The views of the mountain peaks really were amazing. Great location to everything as well. Thanks for having us.

We had a wonderful stay! The views were breathtaking! The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean and comfortable. My husband loved the sauna and exercise room. Joannah was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed sledding onsite and getting to play in the fresh snow. It felt like home away from home. We will be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful views! A bit of a hike to ski slope (especially for kids in ski boots) but easier than dealing with the crazy parking lots of the ski resort. The pullout couch was quite uncomfortable even for our preteens who usually are fine with sleeping on floors. Would recommend the hosts get a new pull out mattress because it was looking pretty rough as well. Would also recommend new pillows for the pull out because they had seen better days. No towels for the pool/spa are available in the condo so bring your own or plan on having to use the bath towels. We thought the clubhouse would have them but thought wrong. Great value for the location though and ultimately a great vacation!

This place is the best we’ve ever stayed in! We didn’t want to leave! It’s so cozy and feels like home. It looks just like the pictures! The place is super clean and the host is so thoughtful with everything. We’ll be back many more times and can’t thank them enough!

I typically roll my eyes when reading a review that says "this is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at"...well...this is actually the best I've stayed at! Jo really put a lot of thought into ensuring the place was cozy and had most everything you could need. Starting with a very cool welcome gift on the table, and even though I don't drink, there was a bottle of wine as well. The outside temps were in the teens during my stay, however I was able to control the heat individually in each room to my comfort (warm in the living room and cool in the bedroom). This is a big deal for me as quite often temp control in places I've been to has been locked or severely controlled by an auto schedule set by the owner. Also plenty of extra throw blankets to keep warm and comfy couches. Excellent proactive communication from Jo to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed for a great stay. Only caution...there are several sets of stairs to get to the condo and they ice up...so be careful!

We ended up having to cancel due to Hurricane Helene, but communication from Ray and Amiee was excellent. Knowing both Ray and Amiee were both heavily impacted by the storm with loss of power and internet, they still reached out to use as soon as possible to let us know know not to come and that everything would be refunded due to the inability to reach the condo (road closures), and loss of power and utilities at the resort.

We have stayed at The Diamond a handful of times at this point and always are happy to come back! We can easily walk to Main Street, everything is always clean, and we feel cozy and at home!
