Mr. Nasser and Mrs. Mariam on the premises are adorable. Mrs. Sonia is very responsive on the app. Lovely neighborhood. Nice building. Very nice and quiet rooms for Cairo. Breakfast allows you to meet belly dancers! Nice atmosphere. I have to love cats because there are many. Thank you for everything

Thanks Mr. Nasser for providing such a beautiful, comfortable room and balcony for my first trip in Cairo. Glad to say that this is my first time to book room in Airbnb and my experience is very nice because the apartment is clean and tidy. Other tourists living here are also very friendly to me and help me get adapted to Cairo. Cats are cute and they like staying together with people, which makes me feel warm. I will choose to live here again if I come to Cairo in future!

Place was great the workers are great it’s same as in the pictures.

We had booked another place initially but the check in time was way after we arrived and they couldn’t accommodate for us. Ahmed was one of the only hosts who answered our messages about checking in late and was very friendly and accommodating. Very responsive and helpful. The entrance was a bit hidden and has steep stairs before you get to the elevator. Which might be hard if you have big heavy suitcases. Room was clean and had a lovely spacious balcony. Overall good experience.

The apartment is on the 15th floor, it's very quiet room to have a good night of sleep，and mostafa is the most patient host I have met, he always responds very fast to any questions and truly considerate for his house guest，high recommended apartment for people travelling in Egypt！

The hotel's location is super convenient to reach, even on foot, Khan el-Khalili, Al-Azhar Park, Old Town, Downtown, and many other attractions. On all the nearby streets there is great street food. The structure is spartan but there is everything you need. Finally, Said and his staff are friendly and also available to provide tourist information and organize guided activities. I therefore highly recommend staying at this accommodation for those who want to experience the city from the inside and in an authentic way.

Ahmed and his family have been incredibly kind to us. We've had peaceful, relaxing days, and the area was truly serene, away from the chaos of Cairo. The breakfasts were wonderful, and we are extremely grateful for the family's hospitality. Thank you so much, Ahmed, for making our stay so enjoyable—I wouldn't hesitate to return!

Very clean place, in the middle of everything if you are aiming to visit the old Cairo historical landmarks, it’s good enough for what you paying.

Bayt Yakan is a very special place to visit. If you want to be immersed in the heart of lively, intense, beautiful Cairo neighbourhood - book a room here. At the same time its recessed position off the street and courtyard make it a respite to the busy street life. There was plenty of hot water and the rooms were immaculately clean. Breakfast was provided on the roof terrace each morning and was delicious. Everything I asked about was responded to promptly by the wonderful co-hosts Sara and Alaa. I marvelled at the beautiful, caring renovation by the owners Ola and Alaa, was thrilled about the solar-powered elevator, and impressed by their ethos to bring in people from the local schools and area for workshops and exhibitions. I will recommend this place to my friends and colleagues, and will stay here again as 10 days in Cairo was not enough time.

We had the most amazing time in Bayt Yakan. It‘s such a magical place and I‘d always come back. Thank you so much for everything!
