Cottage vacation rentals in Cagnes-sur-Mer

We were very well received by Tiziana and her loved ones when we arrived, we were helped unload our personal belongings. We had the pleasure of finding fresh water and wine in the fridge to welcome us! The area is beautiful, I recommend some small gems like the medieval village of Saint Agnes which will take you on a journey in time, Gorbio with its square and its merchants, Eze and its fantastic coast or Menton with its famous lemon but also the Val Rahmeh botanical garden and its sumptuous regional plants and also from all over the world... If you are looking for thrills, I recommend the waterfalls of Piaon which is about forty minutes north of Roquebrune, a beautiful cove is quite uncrowded.

Delphine and Christophe were incredibly warm and welcoming, as was their property! Everything you could possibly need and more was provided, from thoughtful snacks and champagne to toiletries, robes and slippers, lovely scents for the jacuzzi, all kitchen equipment, condiments, even a juicer. They live on site and are immediately responsive to questions or needs, yet your privacy is very much respected and we often had the pool area to ourselves. Their knowledge and love of the area is so helpful and we happily took their recommendations for day trips. A challenging hiking trail starts right across the street, and the views from the trail and the property are simply gorgeous. Everything is exactly like the photos, if not better, and we had a perfectly lovely stay !

Delphine and Christophe created a real paradise near Nice! Their villa is a great place to spend peaceful moments with the family. When we arrived, they welcomed us warmly, then we shared an aperitif together, which immediately put a friendly atmosphere. They also took the time to advise us on excursions to do around Carros, a region they know and love deeply. The villa offers everything one can dream of: a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a petanque court, and a beautiful perfectly maintained garden with beautiful fruit trees. This peaceful retreat is the perfect place to unwind. It is with sadness that we leave this little corner of heaven, but we will definitely be back. Thanks again to Delphine and Christophe for their exceptional hospitality!

Beautiful camping , friendly and family-friendly

Our hosts were very welcoming, discreet and caring. This natural setting offers us tranquility, the pool is very nice, even shared there is room for everyone. The house has plenty of storage, everything is available there is nothing missing. For dogs, it's best to keep them on a leash, the outside is not fully fenced. Window screens may be missing. We had a beautiful week, doing it again without hesitation.

This small cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and sunny. Its secluded location, on the hillside and in nature, is pleasant when you appreciate the calm of the countryside. Pleasant reception, easy contacts. Another advantage: Contes is well located for discovering Nice, Monaco, Menton and the beautiful small seaside towns with public transport. From the village, one bus every hour to Nice, same for the return, then a few minutes walk to get to the Sncf Riquier station, and the TER trains are every 30 minutes. Really great if you don't want to bother with the car. In short, for me it was a successful vacation and the gite des yards du Paillon is a good place.

Patrice's property is beautifully situated and completely private and secure. All of the outside spaces are incredible, large, well maintained with wonderful terraces to enjoy. The pool and surrounding area is fantastic! Safely secured separately from the main grounds with a summer house including a toilet, shower, fridge, kitchen area with a sink and BBQ and ample seating and sun loungers. There is also adequate shaded areas for those who want to escape the sun. Equipment to maintain the pool during your stay is also impressivy provided! Inside, there is a large utility room, well equipped kitchen, huge dining room with a snug TV viewing room off to the side, with a cosy sofa and a couple of chairs. One bedroom is located downstairs with an ensuite. There is a separate office area leading up the stairs to the remaining bedrooms, a family sized bathroom with his and hers sinks! The beds are amazingly comfortable, lots of linens, towels etc are all provided. Overall a fabulous stay!

Laurent is a great host. He was there for all our questions. The villa is amazing. The garden is beautiful and there are excellent views on the sunsets. Perfect for 2 or 3 couples with enough space for privacy. We will be happy to come again!

William and family have a lovely villa which is very close to Valbonne and many other beautiful places which we love to visit. Great hosts, very accommodating and welcoming. The villa has everything required for a great holiday in a peaceful setting. Definitely recommend a visit.

Irma’s place was a spectacular retreat on a property too special to reduce to the number of words permitted here. We had the most restful holiday in a private cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens, endless landscape and flowing water. The interior design and quality of the cottage and finishings are unmatched. We felt immediately at home and enjoyed the spacious bathroom and closet space and a fully equipped kitchen. There were so many outdoor sitting areas we didn’t have the opportunity to use them all. The beautiful pool and pool house were a wonderful retreat to enjoy each day. Our host was fabulous taking care to greet us on arrival and departure and providing excellent local advice and conversation. She also provided us with fresh bread, wine and charcuterie upon arrival. This was a once in a lifetime trip at a special property with an exceptional host. If you have the opportunity to stay here we cannot recommend it highly enough.

We had a great time in Laure's cottage, we particularly enjoyed the very comfortable bedding and quality bed linen, as well as being able to enjoy the pool quite close to the cottage at will. Very nice house located in a private park with small lake , pleasant pool, tennis , very shaded , The house is charming inside it is completely renovated and air-conditioned , in early August it's very nice , very well equipped , there is nothing missing for the comfort of a stay in the south east, its exterior is overlooked and rather quiet , we enjoyed the barbecue and the lovely evenings on the terrace Also we enjoyed the very beautiful area but also the activities of the park with the pool and tennis. Thank you!!!

A wonderful house in a great hideaway location right in the middle of Pont-du-Loup. We loved the fact we felt so tucked away in the beautiful terraced gardens with fruit trees and so many choices of places to sit and of course the fabulous river to cool off in. Loved everything - the house was very stylish down to the crockery and glasses! A fabulous area, we walked and swam in rivers every day, went to Italy and the coast. Fantastic!

Mick and Claire and their b’n’b were great! They were there to welcome us in and made us feel at home. The amenities were great with food and drink ready for our first morning! We had a great chat with them both and they were incredibly warm and fun. We are heading back and will be booking again if there’s space. The area is also great with loads of restaurants and beautiful villages. Highly recommended

Patricia is a great host, very friendly and has immense knowledge of the area. Her little cottage is very cozy, comfortable and has everything that a family with small kids and babies could need. The views from the apartment and especially the dining room are amazing. Having breakfast in the mornings with the view was definitely a highlight for the family! We would gladly come back to Nice and stay here again!
