Angela’s thatched rondavel is gorgeous! We had a lovely two night stay, the shower had great pressure, the bed is very comfy, there is everything you need for simple meals and to have a braai, we had a lovely swim in the pool and absolutely loved the garden. Definitely a hidden gem in Howick.

We absolutely loved our stay! The setting is incredibly peaceful, with breathtaking views of the river and mountains. Whether we were relaxing on the day bed or simply soaking in the natural beauty, every moment felt special. Our children had an amazing time making the fire for the hot tub, chopping wood, and swimming in the river—it was the perfect outdoor adventure for them! The tented camp itself is beautifully designed inside and out, blending comfort with nature effortlessly. This was truly a magical escape, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended.

We needed accommodation for 10 people but unfortunately only four people used the house due to a medical emergency. 10 people would have had plenty of space. The house felt luxurious and spacious , beautifully decorated. Anele stayed on the premisis and was available when needed. Thank you for sharing your lovely colonial house with us. Woodsong Cottage is a little slice of heaven. Isolated, idyllic and wonderfully-appointed. Pauline is a wonderful host, and I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all.

Great value for money. Genevieve was friendly and helpful. Accomodation serviced every day and was squeaky clean. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.

I booked Lauriane's place for family attending a wedding nearby. The cottage was beautiful. Perfect if you love peace and quiet and especially if you're a horse lover. Access to the nature reserve was also very easy. The accomodation is exactly as described in the listing. Thank you for a great stay. Mum especially enjoyed her morning coffee while watching the horses go by.
