Vacation rentals in Byram

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing stay celebrating his 30th birthday. ( Lee provided balloons and banners which was a lovely extra touch.)The location was beautiful and secluded. The hot tub was very relaxing and to wake up within the trees to the birds singing was fantastic after a great sleep! It was just what we needed. The cabin had everything facility wise that we needed to cook/drink etc. We definitely return to this stunning place, we wanted to stay longer! Thanks Lee!

The pictures - gorgeous as they are - don't do this property justice. The setting is private, tranquil, and everything one could hope for an escape to the Yorkshire countryside. Philippa and Andrew were welcoming and very responsive, and even treated us to a lovely and appreciated baked surprise upon our arrival! The location was convenient for our forays to the Dales, the Moors, and the city of York where we got to enjoy a wonderful Christmas Market. For Bronte fans, the Bronte Parsonage is not far, nor was the town of Grassington where the current "All Creatures Great and Small" series is filmed (the fictitious town of Darrowby). York is about a 40-45 minute drive. The farm next door sells fresh free range eggs, the ton pub is about a 10-15 minute walk from the house. Everything in the house was modern and clean, and the large dining table meant we could entertain guests. I literally cannot think of any way it could have been better. Best of hosts and best of houses!

We had such a lovely stay at Ruth’s place. The little goodies left for us was a really nice touch. The cottage felt very homely and was in a great location. The beds were very comfortable, perfect after all the walking. I would recommend this cottage to others looking to stay in this area.

A really lovely house, immaculately kept and in a brilliant location for enjoying all York has to offer without the need of a car. Everything we needed was to hand, and the owners were easy to communicate with, and had left useful and friendly instructions. My sons and I had a great few days, and I'll be recommending this house on to family and friends (and hopefully I'll be back there again myself!).

Cannot recommend staying here enough!So peaceful, the lodge is spotless and has everything you need. The Christmas tree and decorations really made our stay, thankyou for another wonderful stay

Nice and cosy flat with everything we needed in a great area with the ease of walking to the shops. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back to Harrogate.

We had a lovely weekend stay in November. Location is great right next to the river, some very steep hills to negotiate to get into town (we were expecting this). Clive was on holiday and the house sitters did a great job of welcoming us. Everything was sparkling clean and the apartment was fitted out really well. We would love to stay in the warmer weather to take advantage of the outside sitting area overlooking the river. There was some noise from the house above, it didn’t really bother us and wasn’t a problem. Looking forward to returning for another weekend break soon.

Lovely cottage with log burner, nice bathroom and kitchen. Driveway really handy. Decorated for Christmas: outside looks amazing. Host was very friendly, attentive and gave great instructions to get in and slightly earlier check-in, which was gratefully received.
