We had a wonderful weekend stay in this hytte 😍 Very cozy, by the water. Eirin and Rolf were very helpful with advices! Also helped us a lot with the ice and snow to drive out after the weekend ☺️ would definitely stay again another time !

As soon as we had parked and got out of the car, we got butterflies in our stomach just from seeing the Skifterud farm. The couple on the farm with a skilled intern welcomed us warmly, shoulders lowered, the pace went down and the resting pulse arrived. They have an absolutely magical atmosphere. You'll hear the waterfall in the background, a small goat choir, and happy hens tripping around. There is wildlife, insect life, plant life. You'll wake up refreshed and look right at the lush valley and trees waving in the wind. We greeted those goats and walked to the waterfall that is close to the farm. We were also served organic, self grown, delicious food, as well as an unforgettable intimate concert with Rupert. Gaby is skilled in the subject, and we learned a lot on her classes that we'll take with us in our everyday lives. The farm is a rare jewel that everyone will have a unique experience on, whether it is to get knowledge, be inspired, or just get a break in from a busy everyday life. We are truly grateful for the stay and look forward to returning.

We spent our winterbreak holiday at her place for the second time around. It felt like a home away from home. It has newly renovated bathroom. Almost everything we needed was readily available. Berit was very welcoming. The kids had fun and we would denitely come back. Highly recommended

Great location within short driving distance to Norefjell. Very cozy cabin. Spacious, nice snug, spotless bedding. Luxury with washer and dryer and dishwasher. The only thing we were missing was some extra cutlery so the dishwasher didn't have to run every day. We will definitely be back!

We were on tembuilding and enjoyed two days, despite bad weather. The place is suitable for many, even if you have to be inside. Everything was tidy and ready when we arrived, and we have got quick answers to what we were wondering about ahead of time. Have already decided to come back

Cozy and comfortable accommodations right of the highway. We had to call the host for directions but she was very responsive. Adding the house number to the listing would be helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would come back if in the area again.

What an amazing place! We were 4 adults and 4 kids spending a winter weekend there and our kids didn't want to go home! Even though we were unfortunate with the weather, it was a lot of fun to do both outside and inside. The cabin itself is very cozy, has many beds and a charming old dining table where we gathered both for meals and board games. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities. The kids were overjoyed to pick eggs in the morning. In the area there are both hiking and skiing opportunities, and it is probably lovely there in the summer as well. The fire pit is stunning, with plenty of space for many around the fire. Both adults and children enjoyed themselves in the hot tub – it felt almost like a luxury experience! The hosts are very nice and helpful, respond quickly and provide all the information you need. This place is absolutely worth a visit, no matter the weather and season! We have already boasted of it to all our friends.

I do not know whether she is a Nora who has made her house beautiful in our eyes as a beloved person and very good. Her morals are easy to treat and meet before demand. My family loves her so much that they want her to share dinner and coffee . Nora has a great person. As for the house, a full privacy is a country house. There are no events in the supermarket area for 3 minutes. The home is complete for recreation and rest. The date of my August trip.

We went to a family reunion at Christmas time between the years in this beautiful, very clean and particularly lovingly and usefully equipped accommodation. We felt very comfortable and would very much like to come back. Thank you again for the hospitality! We wish you all the best!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy log cabin! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin was beautifully maintained, clean, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect getaway. The location was peaceful and serene close by a big mountain, yet still conveniently close to all popular ice climbing spots. We especially loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings — it truly added to the charm of the place. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy retreat, and we’d love to come back in the future!

We truly enjoyed our stay here, it was the perfect weekend drive out from Oslo to experience norwegian autumn. Ola and Christine were great, responsive hosts and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for, old and charming but with modern comforts like a full kitchen. It was really sweet waking up to rooster calls and be greeted by the goats in the morning, hope to experience this again sometime.

Very simple cabin without running water, but with the offer of shower and toilet in neighboring buildings. Fine for an overnight stay on the way, two cyclists fit well. Fun to live on farm with goats and with beautiful horses.

This is an exhibition model of a cabin, with all amenities you need. Peacefully located in beautiful nature. Short distance to downhill slopes and cross country skiing, which was perfect for us with small children. Eivind and SIlje came up with many great recommendations for activities. There were toys for the little ones and games for us bigger. We had a very nice stay and really recommend this cabin.

Very beautiful, cozy, nicely decorated, and in a great place to stay. The only downside is a very cold hall, but the rooms are warm. The kitchen is well-equipped. Old beds are just for decoration, because very small. But the whole decor is great. I recommend it!

Very beautiful and comfortable chalet close to cross-country ski slopes and hikes! The unit is very well equipped and large enough for a family. We would highly recommend it.

The cabin of Dag and Mette is located about 500m above the valley in a hut settlement. You have a great wide view to the west into the mountains, especially nice in the afternoon/ evening with campfires on the terrace. In the direct area you can do small hikes, there is a swimming spot nearby on a small lake as well as a fishing pond. For shopping must drive down a few km into the valley. The cabin was full of enough for us 5 (2 adults with three teenage children), there are three bedrooms with 6 full-fledged sleeping places. In addition, a kind of high floor under the sloping roof, with about 4 more sleeping places. The apartment is well equipped, the kitchen is small but nice with great details. The host was always available by email and helpful, we were able to borrow the fishing rod from the shed, for example, and she even offered to stay one night longer (due to the storm depth we were able to experience:-)). Everything's great, clear recommendation!

Authentic Norwegian cozy cabin atmosphere.

Spacious apartment that filled my need to the fullest. Lovely to live in rural surroundings just outside the center of Drammen. Marie Therese communicated well and helped make my stay simple and easy, just the way I wanted it to be.

What an excellent stay in Børre’s magnificent Nordic cabin. It was a perfect setting for our family ski break with 3 generations enjoying the setting. The cabin is beautifully decorated with a country feel and all high-spec modern conveniences. It’s warm with underfloor heat pump heating, Tesla electric car charger and plenty of space. The ski centres are a short drive away, there is a comprehensive recycling centre nearby and plenty of supermarkets, all within about 5 minute drive. Børre’s communications were helpful throughout The snow and weather were exceptional and we had a memorable time. . Tusen hjertlig takk 👍

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Very nicely renovated historic house from the early 1800s with many original details. Good with room for our family of two adults and four children. Easy and comfortable communication with Eline.
