Lake house vacation rentals in Burt Lake

We couldn’t have asked for a better fall weekend up north. The colors were fabulous and the lake was gorgeous. Ben and Alessia’s cottage is wonderful and has a prime location on the lake. They had all amenities that we could ask for in the cottage. All the beds were very comfortable and the living room is cozy. The fire pit outside was great to have a bonfire too. Everything was so nice and clean and there was easy access to whatever we needed. We had no complaints about anything and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation up north!

This was an amazing place to see northern Michigan. The place was clean, organized and had more than enough amenities provided! James and Dawn are wonderful hosts!

Lovely location! Really peaceful spot. The lake is wonderful, and they have great access and amenities! Excellent location for going to Mackinac Island for a day trip.

Chelsea's place was amazing! It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The weather was cold, snowy and gloomy all weekend so we spent time relaxing by the fireplace and enjoying a weekend away from our day-to-day chaos. Even with a neighbor next door, the house and lot felt very private. The grocery store and some good little restaurants were only a few minutes drive away and the view of the lake from the living room and bedrooms was lovely as well. Chelsea was incredible friendly, helpful and responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Chelsea's place again in the future!

We've stayed here several times and the accommodations work well for our family of mixed ages. This trip we went snowshoeing daily and explored several nearby parks. We hope to return next winter.

The place was incredible. Access to beach front was amazing with a cool set-up on the bluffs. Ashel was a fantastic host. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a great stay in the property! Kelly’s instructions were very clear and we enjoyed all the amenities and beautiful scenery! We were unfortunate to face a pretty bad weather, but Kelly and her family went above and beyond to make sure we could return home safely- thank you!

We rented this place for work for a couple of weeks and had several people coming in and out. The place was great--very clean, with great amenities--and Jay was super easy to work with.

We had a wonderful stay at Huron Helm. Even through a crazy ice storm that knocked out our power, Katy was responsive and made sure our stay was stress free and enjoyable.

We selected this home to reunite our adult children and revisit waterways. It exceeded our expectations. Open floor plan made it so nice for meal prep, card games and lazy mornings. Each bedroom had fans and t.v.s. master has it's own bath. patio outside of sliders with table made outside meals nice. Everything you could possibly need from kitchen supplies to beach stuff provided. plenty of parking, enough room for pontoon. Large backyard. Firepit was very private, surrounded by woods. No nearby neighbors, but felt very safe. Boy scout park and short dirt roads short walk in either direction bring you to see beautiful sunsets. Had the power go out from fallen tree and Kayla responded immediately with updates. We would recommend this place for anyone looking to kick back with the family with all the room and privacy we needed to spend time with family.

The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The windows on the back of the house gave great view of the lake and many beautiful sunsets. The instructions were very clear and easy for us. Garbage and recycling were clearly labeled. The fixings for S’mores was all ready and waiting for us along with the fire pit. The coffee maker provided both grounds and k-cups. The house on the right was a little close for us but we didn’t see any people there during our visit. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the many extra towels. The pool tables was fun however I would suggest the addition of some board games. Thank you Katrina. We hope to visit with you again one day.

The house was very well stocked with amenities in the kitchen, which we use, so it was very helpful- having stayed in a home without a can opener before- we appreciate a well stocked home. The home was also decorated beautifully for Christmas, which was a bonus surprise, as we were having a Christmas gathering, but did not anticipate the house being decorated. The host warned us of traffic noise from the highway, this was not an issue at any point during our stay. The space was nice and open for gathering with a large group

The house is stunning! We did encounter some difficulties during our stay that need to be addressed but these are no fault of the house and surroundings that’s why I am leaving 5 stars as I am confident these issues will be addressed.

Bob contacted me the day before and was great to communicate with. We even left something behind and he was gratuitous enough to send it to us. Great hosts !!!

We like Alexandra ‘s house . It is very new and had beautiful kitchen area and large dinner table that is long enough to sit three family members. Only thing, those days we stay , it was accumulated a lot of snow at outside . One of our families ‘ car was stocked in the snow. The owner / community dose send people to clean the driveway and local road but it takes them long hours to come . However, Alex dose help to communicate and willing to provide possible solutions if issues arise. Overall , we are happy with stay .

Comfortable beds, plenty of room, kayaks were a lot of fun, Alyssa is a great communicator and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much. It was great having a main hub to do adventures from. I recommend others to stay at this AirBnB and relax. The sunsets are spectacular!

We needed a place to stay while we were up for a wedding. We could not have been happier with this spot. The space felt like we were coming home, from the decor and presentation to the layout and comfort. The hosts had thought of literally EVERYTHING! There were personalized extras that made us feel special and at the same time they stocked all "normal" things that you may have forgotten to pack. I cannot speak highly enough about how great our experience was. We also appreciated the check-in/out times being more suitable for travel as well as the responsiveness and flexibility of our hosts. Can't wait to find a reason to come back north to stay here again!

We really loved the view of the lake from the home. it was frozen while we were there and it was still very beautiful and relaxing. The home utself was very beautiful and spacious. I love that each of the beds are large. The beds are very comfortable. I actually began mattress shopping upon arriving back at home, because my bed isn't this comfortable. There are a large variety of pots, pans, dishes and utensils available to use. The checkout instructions also were very simple compared to many Airbnbs I have visited. I would highly recommend Doug's home and I plan to visit again for a longer stay when it's warm.

Stayed here with a few friends over our college break, it was an awesome time and the perfect space for a group of college students to relax and all be together. Lots of activities within the house (ping pong, pool table, cornhole, darts) which made the trip better. Great fridge space and bathrooms/showers worked well. More than enough sleeping spaces for me and all my friends. Would highly recommended to any large group looking for a fun getaway!
