Houseboat vacation rentals in Burgundy

We stayed at this unique place over Pentecost. It is very private and was even far better than the photos show. Very modern and extremely clean. The bikes on site were really great and there are very nice paths along the canal. Urs' breakfast right at the lock was another highlight. Everything you need is there and the excursions in the area were very nice. We will be happy to come back.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings, this is the place. Our stay was perfectly relaxing and you will have to look hard to find a better host! Urs made everything very easy and he is a true Gent. So many things to like and enjoy about the place, from very peaceful early morning walks enjoying the sunrise, to the silent pitch dark nights with spectacular night sky views. I was looking above all for the proximity to the Port aux Cerises leisure center because we had an evening in the Christophe Colomb room and we wanted to walk home: beyond the practical side of the location of the accommodation, we were charmed by this atypical studio in a barge! A real change of scenery without traveling 😉 stay to be repeated in good weather to also enjoy the outdoor spaces 😊 Valérie was very responsive in our exchanges and very accommodating for the arrival time.

We felt super comfortable on Marie-Laure's houseboat. It was really special for us. The boat is kept simple but really clean and well-equipped. You have everything you need. We spent a lot of time on the sun deck: you have a lot of peace and a great view there. The area is also really fantastic: you can borrow a kayak or the like right next door and drive through the canal to the nearby lake. Supermarket, bakery, restaurants and bars are also right around the corner. The host, Marie-Laurie, was super friendly and very helpful. It was a pleasure meeting you in meeting her. All in all, really highly recommended!!

Staying in the houseboat of Florence was a unique experience. The view at the water is magical, the spaces are arranged with great taste and are very convenient. Florence and Gil welcomed us as if we were longtime friends. A very nice experience that I warmly recommend.

A more than satisfying stay for me and my friends! The accommodation is perfectly suited for a small group: comfortable, consistent with the photos, and with an atypical charm that we really liked. Hosts were very welcoming, always responsive, and available. Only small downside: the boats around the accommodation, which seem abandoned, but that didn't spoil our experience. We leave delighted and recommend this listing without hesitation!

My boyfriend and I and Ugo, a 10-month-old spitz, spent a wonderful weekend in the cottage. The view is gorgeous. The location of the cottage on the bike path is perfect for those like us who love walking and cycling. The cottage is equipped with everything you need while Amandine was able to make our stay better thanks to her advice. We also met the cottage neighbors like Mr. Louise who gave us a friendly "good morning" every morning Highly recommended
