Fantastic place to visit. Easy to get back and forth to Amsterdam or even just to chill in the house. Only a shopping trip to take care of the daily needs otherwise the house is stocked up with long lasting stock so no rush there. The host is very good and does her job very well. One is always sure of getting an answer quickly if an issue arrises. Visit here you wont regret it.

Alexander and Marijete's place was a delightful place to spend a week exploring Haarlem, and Holland. The house is beautiful and comes with everything you would expect to find in a family home and more. This suited us perfectly, and our Toddler really enjoyed playing with the toys and games which were a great bonus. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, in walking (or biking on the included bikes) distance from Haarlem; with a good supermarket also nearby. We used bikes or bus (bus stop 2 mins) to get into town, which allowed us to connect via rail to Amsterdam in around 20 mins. The other great thing about Haarlem is that it is equally close to the beaches of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal. The beaches are clean and have good cafes nearby; we were luck to have great weather all week so had two days at the beach. Other recommends: Delft (pottery and great fleamarket), Zansee Schans (Windmills, clogs and cheese), Efteling (magical theme park) Amsterdam (lots to do!)

Fantastic house in a perfect location between North Sea, Amsterdam and the small, super beautiful city of Haarlem. Cosy furnishings, plenty of space and good entertainment for children make the house perfect for holidays with children

The house is located in a beautiful residential area and it is still not far to the center. There is a great organic supermarket nearby with delicious freshly baked bread, croissants, etc. By bike you can reach the beach in about 20 minutes or take a great tour of the beautiful dune landscape. Really nice area.

We enjoyed our vacation at Kim‘s home very much. We had enough space and all rooms are beautiful furnished. The little garden was also a nice place to sit and relax after a day at the beach or a walk through beautiful city of Haarlem.

Our family really enjoyed staying here! This place comfortably accommodated 4 adults, and was conveniently located close to the public transportation and the vibrqnt NDSM neighborhood. Eva & Kobe were very responsive, nice, and provided clear instructions for checking in and out. I would highly recommend booking a stay here.

We loved our stay at Frenske’s home! The location is great, very walkable to all that Haarlem has to offer. Plenty of space and room for working remotely. We hope to stay here again!

Joost's place is beautiful and exactly like the pictures. He was also super friendly and gave us a tour of the apartment when we arrived. The location also is great with a tram and metro station just a 5 min walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great place, was even better than the photos. It’s in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood, but close enough to downtown that it was easy to get everywhere. Host was always responsive and answered our questions very quickly.

Douwe was interested at all times by our arrival, and was very attentive, leaving in the apartment food and cleaning resources that were very useful to us during our stay. 100% recommended

Sinuhe's apartment is ideally located with spacious bedrooms and tasteful decorations. You are about a 12-15 minute walk to Amsterdam center. There's a tram that can easily get you around or you can just as easily walk. You don't even need to leave his neighborhood to find great restaurants and dining options. On the corner below the apt is a trendy bar. His 2nd living level is super open and beautiful and his rooftop terrace has great views and chilling area to enjoy the outdoors. He has provided advance notice in his apartment description, but I think it's worth noting that this is on the 4th floor of a walkup, narrow staircase. I don't believe this is unique to his apartment as most Amsterdam homes are like this, but if you are traveling with elderly or a baby and your travel partner can't carry heavy suitcases, be prepared for many trips up & down a narrow staircase.

We had a most enjoyable 10 day stay at Arjen's place over Christmas. Arjen was a great host, we arrived early but he was able to store our luggage and took time out to show us around the neighborhood. He even put a Christmas tree up for us! The apartment is very comfortable, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. The location is good, very close to the Central Station where you can get on trains or trams to go anywhere, and also an easy walk around the city without being right in the middle of things. I would definitely recommend a stay at The Captain's House!

I've stayed in many Air B&B's but this is definitely the most thoughtfully equipped one I've ever stayed in! Lots of nice and practical touches. Yes, some of it is on the smaller side and the "Amsterdam" stairs won't be for everyone, but the layout of the space made it very usable and comfortable. The host sent out some local recommendations even before I arrived. The bathroom was very spacious and nice. Very walkable to the Jordaan area and the nearby tram stop went all around the outer ring to many of the places you'd want to go and busses at another stop to get to Centraal. Would love to stay here again!

We had a lovely stay in Amsterdam and Hans apartment was the perfect quiet space a traveler enjoys for refuge from the hustle bustle of the beautiful l city. Beautiful apartment, as described in the picture right in the heart of Alkmaar. There was nothing missing. We felt very comfortable and there was even a decorated Christmas tree. Contact with Diwa was quick, hassle-free and very nice.

Staying at Jacqueline’s was absolutely wonderful. There is so much to do in Zandvoort. She gave us great suggestions on the town and things to do. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Nadine’s apartment is exactly as pictured. Large spacious rooms, a beautiful view to the canal on a relatively quiet street. The bedrooms face an inner court yard and so are very quiet. The neighborhood is centrally located, within easy walking distance to the entire central of Amsterdam. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. We were a family of 4 adults and the appartment suited us perfectly, certainly plenty of room! Nadine and her sister who greeted us were very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this appartment and definitely will plan another stay there. Linda Zamir

Tonny was exceptionally responsive and went out of her way to help. I recently injured my knee and she made sure my every need was met and was exceptionally understanding. Beautiful place in a wonderful location close to the centrum, but quiet and calm. I will absolutely request to stay here again in the future!

This lovely place is right off the park, walkable to restaurants, shops and even to the museums (through the park), and just a 20 min ride to the city center. It's in a VERY family friendly area!! The host is excellent -- very friendly and helpful and quick with responses. The flat is fully appointed and even has a little back patio, but 2 of the bedrooms are quite small, and the stairs between floors are steep!

It was a very fantastic stay, beautiful apartment, top location right on the sea. Everything you need to arrive directly, relax, feel really comfortable, sensational and 100% recommend 🫶
