Cabin vacation rentals in Buffalo City

The cabin was beautiful- BETTER than the pictures. The host family offers luxury "perks" like wonderful toiletries, pillowtop mattresses and top end pillows, soft blankets rolled up everywhere for guest to use, plush towels, the lights were on when we got there as was the hot tub ready to go. We will definitely be back. What a treat!

Another great visit to the cabin! Clean and spacious with plenty of activity options, only limited by your imagination! My family and I had an amazing weekend and we will be back!

The photos don't do this unique, comfortable, serene, special place justice! Any time of year this would be the best stay, and it's equipped with everything you would need and more (linens, blankets, pillows, firewood, dishware, cooking equipment, indoor and outdoor seating, etc.). The hosts were communicative and thorough and nothing was an issue or surprise. And the beds were the most comfy! The only consideration is how many people you have and how particular you are about sleeping arrangements, as three beds + sofa sleeper are all in one lofted/communal space (different floors), with one bedroom fully separate in the basement. Not an issue for 4 single adults.

The lady and I needed to get away from the big city. This was absolutely worth it. Beautiful and great food around the city. TV was a nice plus to just be lazy for the day. Will definitely be back!

Welcome to the PERFECT outdoorsman’s cabin. With so many out-door opportunities to engage in, in the Alma area, this cottage is perfect. It’s close to the river, close to the Stockholm Pie Co., and it’s also secluded and private. Look no further for the perfect place to stay, whether you’re getting away for a weekend of fishing or want to come out and ride on real, active, horse farm!

We needed a place that allowed dogs and Alayna’s Airbnb worked for us. There wasn’t a dog run available; however, there was plenty of grass around her house for the dogs to roam on leash. And, there is a great park just a few blocks away. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and most allowed dogs on the porch. And, the biking is world class! A great place to stay when getting away for a few days. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Brittany was a great host, answering any questions quickly. Highly recommend for small groups.

The lodge was a great place for my large group. There was everything that we needed upon arrival and space for our group to hang out and enjoy each other easily. Living room/dining space was great for watching tv and playing games. Overall a great experience.

Staying here was a great experience. Stoddard is a nice little community, situated in a beautiful part of the country, an easy drive to La Crosse. Ryan is a great host, and the house was as described, beautiful, clean, with nice amenities and a great view overlooking the river.

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

A great way to get away but still be close to the local market, events, food ,etc. it was a beautiful remote spot but felt safe and secure :) we were able to utilize a lot of the dvds which was a fun nostalgic vibe and picked up local coffee from wonderstate and lunch from co-op! Our fav! This is such a beautiful serene getaway:) thank you so much

Absolutely beautiful, clean and well appointed home! Very comfortablehad everything we could possibly need and more and the view is breathtaking! So much seating outdoors and in and Nancy was a very helpful when we arrived late at night and had trouble finding the location she got us there and in the door. We cannot wait to go back!

This is a nice get away from home. Serene and beautiful. A place for those who want to stay close to nature.

Nature's Nest is an extremely peaceful retreat. The cabin is very cozy with wonderful views of the forests and creek just outside. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property but were also close enough to Viroqua to pop into town for groceries and dinner. It was a lovely escape and we'll definitely be back.

I cannot say enough great things about this home. It was spotless one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. The beds were all super comfy, we all slept so well. Every detail was covered. The only place we’ve stayed where all of the light switches were labeled. It was so easy to move in and feel at home in a minute. Super cute decorations and homey. Colleen should write a book to other rental homes, she nailed it. The location was perfect, quite at the end of the culdesac, great fire pit, could walk to the winery and so private. I cannot recommend this place enough. We are planning to make this an annual trip, it was one of my favorites.

The photos, description, and reviews of this place do not do it justice. WOW! What a little slice of heaven. My husband and I stayed at this home with our three elementary aged children over a gorgeous fall weekend and it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Jean and Joe did not overlook one detail. The kitchen was brand new, incredibly organized, and spotless. It had everything you could need to cook, grill, or bake meals. The bottled water in the fridge was a very thoughtful touch! The bedrooms were perfect for 2 adults and 3 children. The bathrooms were clean, stocked with towels, and had plenty of everything you’d need. We spent the weekend fishing off the dock (dozens and dozens caught and released 🎣), playing games, and reading books. What a treat! Thanks for sharing this tranquil oasis with us, Jean and Joe! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Aptly referred to as the perched cabin, we enjoyed watching the barges on Lake Pepin, the trains passing along the river’s edge and the eagles soaring above us, all from our perch above the lake. The porch provided fantastic views. We will visit again.

Very cozy log cabin with lots of room. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities to make meals and beds were very comfortable. Extremely quiet, secluded getaway for a long family weekend.
