Cabin vacation rentals in Buena Vista

Booked a last minute getaway with a large group of friends. The home was clean and spacious. Nestled perfectly in natures surrounding, every angle of the wraparound porch provided a picturesque backdrop. We had a great stay and would recommend this home. The bedroom/bathroom count provided for great privacy for our large party. We didn’t get a chance to get in the hot tub, but man we wanted to. As mentioned in other reviews, the altitude sickness was real. Every member of our party experienced different symptoms at one point or another. As regular travelers to the mountains, this was odd for the bulk of us. The heater in the home was on and working but struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. All of the bedrooms were fairly cold at night. Maybe ask for additional blankets if you’re visiting during the frigid months.

Our group of 8 had a wonderful time on our week stay. The house is located in a beautiful spot close to Breckenridge skiing and FairPlay fishing, and the community around it are some of the nicest people I have ever met! Truly an amazing experience!

Skied at Breckeridge for 4 days and this Airbnb made it feel right at home. The location is great with an amazing view. It's packed with supplies and very cozy.

Our stay in this magnificent cabin was nothing short of magical—it truly felt like we were living in a movie scene! While the listing description was flawless, the pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin is even more breathtaking in person, offering a pristine and serene escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Incredible stay at an incredible house. We traveled from Moab to Denver and decided to stop at Alpenglow before heading to the city, and we are so glad we did! We saw beautiful country on the drive up and got to explore a bit of the surroundings and local towns. But really it was just so nice to spend time in a house that is well loved. Christine was an impeccable host - we appreciated the fast and thoughtful responses. Definitely would love to return if the opportunity arises. Thank you!

We had the best time staying at this beautiful cabin! It was perfect for me and my four friends, plus our two dogs. The cabin is cozy and spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The sledding with the sleds they provided was so much fun and a highlight of our trip — a great way to enjoy the snowy surroundings! We also loved the grill, which was perfect for outdoor cooking, and the hot tub was the cherry on top after a day of outdoor adventures. The host was also super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway with friends (and dogs)! We’ll definitely be back.

This was a very peaceful, quiet home. Extremely clean, pup friendly and full of spa-like amenities. We loved the fireplace, cozy blankets, room/shower sprays, white noise machines and diffusers in every bedroom, giant comfy dog beds for our fur baby. Don’t forget the towel warmer before you hit the pristine hot tub with provided robes and towels. Brooke was very communicative, not that we needed to reach out for much. The property is on a dirt road but was very easy to find and we kept GPS signal the entire drive there from Denver. The WiFi worked perfectly the whole time. Ceiling fans work wonders and there is a small fan in the main bedroom for extra flow and white noise at night. No TV in the main bedroom but we slept with door open and could see the TV in bed perfectly. The mountain air more than Made up for no AC at night. All in all, we had an amazing, relaxing time outside the city and would definitely book again. Don’t hesitate, book this property now!

We loved the easy drive to Breckenridge—it was so nice to step away from the busy town and unwind in a peaceful, private retreat. The cabin had everything we needed and more: plush towels, a well-equipped kitchen, coffee, teas, hot chocolate, games, and plenty of hooks for gear. The dog bowls, treats, and bed were such a thoughtful touch. The little notes around the home gave us a laugh and added charm. It was perfect for me, my husband, and our dogs—cozy and comfortable. We were especially excited for the hot tub and sauna after snowboarding. On night one, we only used the sauna—it was relaxing but didn’t get as hot as others we’ve used. The next night, we returned to find a heater running to the hot tub that wasn't there before and the jets not working. I messaged Amy, who responded quickly and let us know the hot tub had broken and the service team hadn’t told her. She offered a remedy, which we appreciated. Still had a lovely time—just wish the amenities had worked as expected.

Such a beautiful place with an amazing view to have coffee in the morning. Great location to mountains and restaurants with a short drive.

Jodi's place was great! We got to check in early and the views were amaing! Our toddler loved the loft bedroom! Would stay again!

Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We loved the fireplace! The cabin is private, but within an easy drive to the town center. It was a great stay!

We stayed for a long weekend at Kim's place and really enjoyed our time. I don't think I've ever stayed at a location that has been that quiet. The cabin is peaceful and surrounded by trees and 360 degree views of the Collegiate Peaks and surrounding mountain range. Decks off the first and second level afforded incredible views that we didn't want to leave! The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed - plenty of towels and blankets and lots of appreciated little extras. Thank you, Kim!

I cannot recommend this log cabin in FairPlay, Colorado, enough! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking mountain scenery surrounding the property. Nestled in a peaceful, secluded area, the cabin offers stunning panoramic views of the Rockies, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself is beautifully designed—rustic yet modern, with cozy furnishings, a well-stocked kitchen, and a warm fireplace that made our stay incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the sight of snow-capped peaks and enjoying morning coffee on the spacious deck was absolutely magical. Whether you’re looking to hike, explore the charming nearby towns, or simply relax and take in the natural beauty, this place has it all. The stargazing at night was unbelievable—no city lights, just a sky full of stars. If you’re looking for a serene mountain retreat with unbeatable views, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to return

Doug’s place was so fun to stay at! Super close to downtown Breckenridge, only 10 minute drive to ski resort, beautiful cabin and just far enough from town where you get to enjoy the wilderness. The kitchen has everything you need for home cooked meals, including the seasonings! There was a coffee beans in the freezer, a grinder and coffee maker. We loved this place so much, excited to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay and it was exactly what we were looking for! It was a very cosy experience and I would book again! It snowed quite a lot during our stay, which was wonderful for our skiing! Each room had its own heater so we stayed nice and warm.

Jesse’s home was comfortable, cozy, and clean. It was wonderful for our family, and we enjoyed the large open living room with the a-frame windows to admire the view. The home was very well maintained, and the kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials needed to cook at home - there was even tea & coffee available for us. Just 5 minutes to downtown Breckenridge, can’t beat this location. 10/10!

The cabin was so cute and cozy and perfect for 4 of us. The view of the back balcony was beautiful and peaceful. Only bad thing is the listing doesn’t mention that there is another house on the same road with the same exact address, so we were confused for a bit and no service to reach out. Luckily a helpful neighbor realized we were lost and informed us. Everything else was perfect!

These cabins are so cute and cozy, and very pet friendly. The staff is excellent - very responsive and helpful. The location is great - walking distance to restaurants and shops. We have enjoyed our stay here more than once and will definitely go back!!
