Vacation rentals in Buckland Dinham

We had a really amazing week in the Artist's Retreat. It's so stylish and cool but it also felt cozy and calm. We were blessed with incredible sunshine but it wouldn't have mattered. The setting is peaceful and private with lovely large grounds and lots of lovely walks nearby. The Hot Tub was fantastic. We used it more than we expected to and the wood-fired heating was easy and a part of the ritual. The tennis court was excellent with loads of rackets, balls and other outdoor equipment provided. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and Kate's local guidebook was very useful. There's so much to do nearby. We walked from the nearby Courts Garden, across local fields to Great Chalfield Manor which was gorgeous. We also used several of the eating-out recommendations. We were sad to go when the time cam and got very used to living life in this lovely place. We'll definitely try and come back again soon.

Just spent a very relaxing couple of nights at Helen’s stunning cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you could need for your stay. It has plenty of room for a family but there was only two of us so it felt really spacious. The gardens are just absolutely beautiful, lovely views, with lots of nature around, happily sat out to eat meals on patio whilst listening to the birds and watching the horses and helens dogs. We sunbathed on the sun loungers on the grass in the afternoons, which was bliss. there is a lovely large Hot tub which was a lovely added bonus which we relaxed in the evenings with a couple drinks. Helen recommended Lyme Regis for a day which we did, and It did not disappoint we had a lovely day out there. We definitely will be returning to this cottage for future breaks. we will now find it difficult to find another place that will offer the same accommodation and amenities with the gardens and views as here. What a fantastic find. Not even a 10 minute drive to longleat and 30 minutes to Bath. A beautiful home from home. The perfect place to visit with children, with books, toys and equipment. We cannot wait to come back.

Great stay Andy was available on our arrival to show us around and how to use things, beds were made up for the amount of guests and location is beautiful!

Sandra was very welcoming; she came out to show us around the property. She also gave recommendations of local pubs and parts to look out for the area. The house was very comfortable with all the amenities you could need. Wil definitely try to stay again when in the area.

We really enjoyed our few days at the coachhouse, which was comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Andrew had to be away when we arrived but was immediately responsive when we had trouble knowing where to go. We felt welcomed on arrival by his note and provisions, and really appreciated the local recommendations sent to us in advance.

Perfect place for our group of 5 adults and 4 children. Well equipped kitchen, good sized rooms and within walking distance of Tisbury.

Immerse yourself in nature and a world of books. Stanley’s a Bibliophile with an astounding collection of books. A beautifully curated home of antiques, artefacts from world travels, pictures and books displayed creatively in every room, creating wonderful character and ambience, like no other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. There is a great, bright cook’s kitchen/dining area, a huge family table for eating and playing games or listening to some classical music from a beautiful collection. A cosy lounge with log fire and tv, two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom that has a bath and separate walk in shower upstairs. Set in beautiful countryside, this is an outstanding location for peace and quiet, yet a short drive to historic Shaftesbury. Perfect for our family and two young children.
