The cottage is very well kept and nicely decorated. It's located in a very beautiful area with lovely views of the lake. It is well equipped and the beds are vey comfy. Rattvik is very nice too so everything made our stay fantastic. And Fredrik responds immediately to any queries. I definitely recommend this cottage...we loved it.

Great house that was perfectly located next to a hill!

We stayed at Susanne's place during our ski trip in Sälen. The accommodation was perfectly suitable for 2 families with kids and the proximity to ski slopes was good. I recommend having your own car to get around but there's also ski buses with a stop nearby. As a host Susanne was very helpful and always quick to reply. Good experience overall and truly recommend! Will definitely book again when going to Sälen.

This place is called ‘forest escape’ and it is exactly that: a beautiful and modern cabin in the middle of the woods. Handmade by the very friendly owners. There is a large home around 30 meters from the cabin, where you can cook and sit, have a hot shower or watch tv. There is also a really good coffee machine with free coffee the whole day! The cabin is private with a view on the woods, and there is a fire place outside and even an outdoor shower. The interior is so nicely decorated with sheep skin and a fireplace, really fits this place. In the main house is a mini shop so you can even take some handmade wooden souvenirs home. Maria, the host, gave us good tips to go and see in the area and she can be reached when you have questions or wishes. Dogs are welcome but not in the service house, in consideration of other guests. We’ve experienced that dogs aren’t allowed in shops or cafes in Torsby. Källberg Forest Escape is a fantastic place for nature lovers! 🌲

We spend 3 nights in this cabin and it was a very nice stay! If you are looking for a lovely, quite and very charming place to enjoy the Swedish landside, this is your place to go. The sauna helped us to survive the cold winter weather, but you can also use the fireplace inside or outside. Overall, this was one of our most favorite stays and we will try to come back sooner or later! ☺️

Like our first stay here, we loved our week spent at Malin and Jonas's place. The accommodation and environment are beautiful. The cottage is very clean, well equipped. Malin and Jonas' welcome was warm. There are many things to do in Leksand and around Lake Siljan. We'll be back again.

We are so happy with our stay at Hanna's apartment! It was very nice, clean and there was everything you needed in an apartment. She was very accommodating and we got to check in earlier than stated which made it feel like we got a whole extra day - THANKS for that! 🙏🏼 10/10

We had a wonderful week in the house of Thomas and Martina, they were very involved, there was good communication and the house was very nice! It has a nice layout, and a beautiful location. We were there in a week in which a lot of snow has fallen, and where there was a good layer of ice on the lake. Winter wonderland! We had a good time. The house was comfortably warm with underfloor heating and actually everything was well clean, except unfortunately some dog hair. We will definitely recommend the house to others and if we go back to this region again, we will definitely choose this house again!
