Located at the end of a short gravel lane, this spacious cabin is just 2.2 miles from the heart of Nashville- Indiana's quaint artist colony and tourist destination. Though it is easy to get to, you will feel like you are in the middle of the woods, which surround the house on three sides. You can touch the trees from the lovely decks, which wrap around the house on two levels. A garden, featuring various flowering and local plants, meanders down a rock path to the gazebo, which contains the luxury 6-person hot tub! The sweet smell of cedar and mix of antique and plush furnishings welcome your first step inside the cabin, and the wooded views from the full wall of glass doors beckon you to kick back and start relaxing. Spend your day taking in the beauty of the Brown County State Park, and checking out the area wineries, antique and artisan shops, art galleries, and restaurants in Nashville. Or, stay around the house and cook dinner together in the full kitchen or out on the gas grill while watching your friend (or your self!) reel in the catch-of-the-day at the 3-acre lake. Bait can be found under most rocks in the garden-borrow our shovel! Canoe and life-jackets available. In the evening, snuggle-up around the outdoor fire-pit or inside in front of the wood-burning “Brown County Stone” fireplace. If you so desire, turn on one of the flat screen TVs if you don't want to miss your favorite program or the "big game," or opt to pop-in one of our large selections of DVDs. Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

Everything was the way the pics showed. The 5 mile gravel road with drop offs on either side and washed out gravel did scare me a bit however we took it slow. Now the actual curve bent road/driveway was an experience I myself do not want to do have again. We did move our car back to designated parking. We got the best leg workout from all the stairs. Over all it was a quiet spot with cabins nearby. The jacuzzi and pool table was used frequently.

Courtney's place was the perfect home base for me and my family. Our party was 6 months to 79 years old and it suited out needs perfectly. The home was clean, inviting, comfortable, and lovely, inside and out. My nephew loved the little tree swing and the creek. There wasn't a day we didn't take advantage of the wonderful hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

This was my second time staying at the Cozy Bear cabin - the first time with girlfriends and this time with my husband and son. Both were a blast! We especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub and even found a dry moment to make s’mores over the fire pit. Everything outside of the cabin is so close and accessible, whether you want to hike, shop, or dine out. Best of all, Lindsey was super responsive and proactively reached out to let us know about an incoming storm and where to find flashlights. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Brown County area!

This place was amazing and perfect. If I could’ve given it more stars, I would the decorations and furniture and everything about the area was so cute and Homie! The little patio and was very private. Loved the hot tub! There was a binder in the living room that was very helpful with directions and great places and things to do in the area! And loved all the board games. Communication was amazing and very easy!! Overall amazing and best stay I’ve had.

Great stay, probably the best I’ve had with an AirBnb. Eric was very responsive throughout our stay. The cabin was spotless. Very peaceful and private. All kitchen appliances worked and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils. I will definitely be back for a long weekend at some point.
