Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Broome County

Very nice place, close to the bike trails in Pennsylvania. Very quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen area well equipped. The living area was very relaxing. Thanks to Jules for letting me in her cottage!

Our stay was fine for a couple nights while visiting family in the area.

Robert and Donita were fabulous host, quick communications and very helpful. The space was spotless and well equipped. Very private and cozy, nice furniture, comfortable couch and big tv. The 37 acres were very unique and nice layout with well marked trail. I can’t thank him enough for sharing his home. We would definitely stay there again

Great place to stay for the three of us visiting a sick relative. Lots of room, comfy beds and very homey feel. Nicole Lee was great with some flexibility on our schedule. Would recommend her place to anyone staying in the area!

Beautiful property and home. The host was very accomodating to our last minute reservation and late night arrival. The home had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We loved relaxing on the porch in the mornings and evenings and the walk to the creek was beautiful. The bed was comfortable with nice linens and plenty of pillows. The bathroom towels were plush and there were plenty for our stay. The home was stocked with all the amenities from qtips to coffee. The decor was inviting and tasteful. We enjoyed our stay at Genny's Cottage!

I go up every December to visit my son and grands. I always stay in a hotel. But this year I found a gem. My Grands loved staying with me for the week. Such a cute place to stay. I loved it so much that I want to go back in the summer to enjoy the river!! We will be back!! Thanks Jose for sharing

yoni was such a fabulous host—he answered all my questions in a timely manner and gave great recs for things to do and towns to visit nearby. the space was exactly as described/pictured and was more beautiful in person than i imagined. it’s definitely a great place to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the outdoors. plus we loved the sauna, games, and projector! will definitely come back :)

Ken’s house was the perfect home base for visiting our grandson at Binghamton University. The location couldn’t have been more convenient, and the amenities made our stay ideal. Ken is the most responsive host we have ever encountered, and we would be delighted to stay at his house again.

Place was beautiful, relaxing , peaceful, private, and clean. Great kitchen to make our Easter dinner in. Boardgames available to play with our kids as a family during our getaway. Very rural area which is what we wanted, but still had Wifi access to look up things in the area and stay connected when needed. Enjoyed our stay immensely, and am thankful the host was responsive and pleasant when contacted. Great place to stay!

I had the absolute pleasure of heading back to the cabin this past weekend for what has become a tradition—our annual fly fishing trip. Every year, this place manages to surpass the last, and this trip was no different. From the moment we pulled in, Craig’s warm welcome and signature hospitality made us feel right at home, just like always. It is clear that he and Sandra truly care about the property—not just how it looks, but how it feels. There is a genuine sense of comfort and care that sets the tone for the entire weekend. The cabin is just as beautiful as I remembered—cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable (which we definitely appreciated after long days on the water), and the view from the deck remains my favorite way to start the morning with a cup of coffee in hand. This was a quick getaway with my teenage granddaughter that started with a message prior to our arrival from Charlene warning us of a bad storm in the area. She went to the property prior to our arrival making sure we had power; this was very much appreciated! My granddaughter was excited first with the listening and then seeing the accuracy of the photos when she walked in. As mentioned in previous reviews, the cottage is near a main road which is hardly realized. The sounds of the river, birds, and peepers are the focus. From all areas of the home is the view of the river, we ate breakfast at the kitchen table watching for an eagle which finally made an appearance much to our excitement. This place is pristine with a well stocked kitchen. We did not get to use the fire pit because of weather but seems there is everything to have a fire including chairs. We truly enjoyed the peace Wilma provided! We will be back!

Great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet & beautiful surrounding! I stayed here with my girlfriend for a night, and we had a great time using the cabin & the private patio and fireplace. During the day, we roamed around the river bank & visited Catskills ranges. 10/10 recommend!

This cabin was everything we were looking for and more! The place is super spacious — perfect for a group trip — and gives off cozy, classic cabin energy from the moment you pull up. The wood finishes inside, the tall ceilings, and that gorgeous stone fireplace set the perfect backdrop for a relaxing weekend. The deck overlooks a peaceful river just steps away — we even went down and got in! Whether we were grilling outside, chilling around the fire pit, or kicking back with games in the basement, there was always something to do. The game room had a pool table and enough space for everyone to hang out, and the upstairs loft made it feel like a true escape. We had a proposal, late-night laughs, and even a little gaming sesh — all under one roof. The place feels tucked away in nature but still had everything we needed. Honestly, the vibes were immaculate. Whether you’re trying to unplug and relax or celebrate something big with friends, this spot hits. Will definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay at the cabin! Rachel (our host/owner) was wonderful and communicative. The cabin was beyond our expectations and immaculately clean. Everything we needed was provided so we did not have to be concerned about bringing everyday items in order to enjoy/use the cabin. Beyond the above, the cabin itself is remarkable. It definitely suits the surrounding environment in a Catskill Mountain village, but it is decorated with style and comfort in mind. You are definitely not roughing it here! Perfect heating and cooling make for a comfortable stay and the furniture is cozy beyond belief! This is one of the nicest facilities in which we have ever stayed. Hotels may be fancy and full of services, but this cabin provides a level of such comfort, coziness and privacy it makes me wonder why we would ever want to go to one of the local hotels again. Note: Local restaurants were literally within a one-mile distance from the cabin. All three that we tried were great!
